What was your worst restaurant experience, if you ever had one? I got inspired by my brother's friend.

My brother's friend was turning 10, they went into a new restaurant around 6-6:30 PM. They ordered, then they waited. 7:30 came, then 8:30 came. By 9:00, his father approached the manager and complained on how they waited for two hours for their food. The manager wasn't a pleasure at all. The manager just angered them even more and caused the father and him to verbally fight with the manager instead of trying to sympathize with him. In the end, they were escorted out by security, including the Ten-year-old birthday celebrant who did not eat anything that night.

These people just piss me off. ._.

Mods, please move wherever appropriate. ^^

Well, I never had anything that bad, but I did have an unpleasant experience at Burger King. You see, I can't stand onions on my burgers, so I ordered a Whopper without them. However, instead of giving me what I asked, I got a Whopper that was loaded with onions....and nothing else!!! That seriously made me angry with the place, heh.

But your story is even worse. I'd be furious if that had happened to me or anyone I knew. >>

When I was a kid, I practically barfed at Pizza Hut's, probably because of the bell peppers. I was embarrassing though...>.<

Once I was in a Taco Bell and puked. On a random guy. I ran out while the guy was just like... "Da hell?" ,':l

Well, not my experience, but my teacher was born in a McDonalds. :D

This incident didn't have anything to do with food, more with geography. It was a sort of out-west themed restaurant in Buffalo, New York. There was this one person at another table who was having a birthday, and the restaurant staff asked that everyone give that person a "Yee-haw."

For those who didn't know, there is nothing harsher to the ear than New Yorkers saying "Yee-haw."

Being a Mexican Texan, I feel your pain.

I really never had a bad restaurant experience. All the restaurants I go to always seem to have good food.

It may be the fact that I only stick to a few but whatever.

However, there was this one time when I was at birthday party at this fancy restaurant, and trust when I say fancy, the party was for a 5 YEAR OLD GIRL! 0_o'.

So then I was like bored because a clown was putting on a show for the girl, then I got a "Dry Session", it's a time when I get break down if I don't eat something spicy,

Then I found a bottle of Powder Chile at the buffet table, and I decided to just gulp some down... about halfway to the bottom XD.

So then later, the clown was setting up the finale were he cut the cake with the birthday girl, but then before that, I burped a strange burp that had strange smell of strange. Next thing I know, I burped out brown stuff, and seconds later...
Uargh!
....

The clown continued like nothing happened and I ate corn happily ever after.

The end

tl;dr, that was awesome.

When my family goes to the beach in the summer we stay at a nearby ski resort. It's maybe 20-30 minutes away from the beach, but very convenient because of the rooms, pools, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

Since it's the summer, some of the restaurants on property offer outdoor seating. We were seated right under a light. Light at night attracts bug. This massive moth fell into my mom's plate. Tried to flutter it's way out and then it died. Needless to say we lost our appetite.

I've been to other places where food didn't taste good or was cold - but this was just gross.

When I went to a New Orleans restaraunt you may have heard of, Jazz. My mom got a new Coach bag three days before and the waitress spilled food all over it. I was even upset.

In Switzerland we were staying a single night there and we went out to dinner at a noodle place as there was nothing else in the town that wasn't ridiculously over priced...
We sat outside and ordered. We waited like 4 hours for a couple of serves of noodles. It was chaotic. We were there at like 11pm eating in the street... :(

Whenever I order fast food, I almost always coincidentally order it at what my dad calls "amateur hour." No offense to those who have just entered the workforce and are still trying to grasp a new line of work, but some workers that I deal with have been there for years and just don't seem to care.

Anyway, I ordered a meal from McDonald's one evening, and I'm not exactly sure what got effed up in the game of telephone they play between cashier and kitchen, but the order came out mutilated like a deformed infant. I was missing an order of french fries, I received the wrong amount of chicken, among other things (I was ordering for more than one person). On top of all that? They didn't even give me a receipt... We ended up calling the manager, and he gave us a half-hour timeframe to return the food and get the right order filled out.

At least we got our food...

I can't remember how good they were, but they weren't fantastic...
Also just the other week I was in a restaurant wearing my brand new fluro orange T shirt, and the guy on the table next to me knocks over his red wine bottle and it splashed all over me. My shirt was stained and ruined, and he didn't even apologise or act sorry....

Well, My family eats out quite often. So It's a regular thing.

Long story short...
We go in and order our food and it takes an hour or more to get it. My dad gets mad. Sometimes we just pay for what we drank and leave, sometimes my dad chews out the manager, sometimes we just sit and bear it. Depends on our mood.

But if I had to pick the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant...I'd have to say one day at a little restaurant that goes by the name "Blue Star Inn". Now mind you, the name of this restaurant, when thought about deeply evokes some rather uneasy feelings since you get the feeling that the place has been there since 1960. And it has indeed been operating since 1960. Well, as anyone who is sensitive to the energies of spirits and such around you, should know that a place THAT old would most likely be laced to the rafters with energies of all kinds. In the case of this place, it had soaked up all kinds of negative emotions over time. So if you're empathic you can easily imagine how nervous this made me. As we walked in, this old lady was on her way out. When we opened the door, we were greeted with the sight of that old lady who had fallen down, and busted her head open. The pool of blood on the floor made my stomach turn. We walked by her and immediately informed the manager of the situation. Well the ambulance arrived and all, but I knew deep down that she wouldnt make it to the hospital alive. I had felt her spirit passing me by on it's way up and it seemed confused and a bit sad. After that, we went on in, and ate our lunch...but I really didn't feel too hungry. Since then I havent been to that restaraunt since. Just remembering the incident makes my blood run cold.

Here where I live, there are a few restaraunts which I do not like to go, because the place has such a bad aura.

Okay once I went to this Japanese place in St. Marks (a place in the village in New York City <3) with my friends for my birthday called Oh Taisho's. First, I ordered ramenand it took two hours to come out. It was amazing especially because a waiter came out an hour in and asked me if I had "finally" chosen my order. Not only had all my friend's eaten and I was starving, but they had the audacity to yell at me. When it finally came out, I ate half and got food poisoning (not only me but all my friends). After paying a ridiculouslly large bill, me and four of my friends left. My two friends, Allegra and Ricardo, stayed behind because they had to go to the bathroom. After they left, the manager came out and asked for a better tip (bare in mind we paid a fifteen dollar tip and she wanted an extra fifteen...in other words she believed she deserved a $30 tip...). Since my friends are pushovers, they gave her the money. Best part is, after the sickness passed, we were all still really hungry and went to the McDonalds around the corner. >_>

Fortunately my Dad has a friend at trading standards, so he always threatens to call them if the manager gets shirty; funnily enough we always get outstanding service after that! He rarely actually has to call but you get the odd guy who thinks he's bluffing...

I think for me, it was only being told I couldn't order from the kids menu. D: See, I have a mental/developmental disability and I order from the kids menu because I don't eat much. >_< I can't remember the resturaunt it was but, I do know that my parents had to explain to them about my disability and that I don't eat much... DX

I've never had any problems with the kids menu after that. They usually don't ask but I always worry that they well, knowing I'm not young enough for the kids menu. ;;

Then again, most of mine aren't as bad but like at McDonald's I told them I only wanted ketchup on my cheeseburger and the guy heard what I said, but appearantly they put everything on it, I took a bite and well, I realized it. T^T My mom went inside to tell them and she gave me my RIGHT order, and lol, to make up for their mistake, they gave me a free baked apple pie! :'D

One time I was at some Chinese buffet, and I spilled my full water all over the table. The waitress/bus person lady came over and cleaned it up, like nothing was wrong. Then she brought me another glass full of water, and guess what; I spilled it again. We had to leave after that because my parents were so embarrased. We didn't even get that much to eat. The watress/bus person lady came back and cleaned it up as we were leaving. I swear she gave me a look that meant, "Go to hell, devil child."

Yeah.

Now that I think about it, we've never gone to that resturant again XD

A couple of weeks ago, I was with two older friends at an Applebees, where we got the most negligent of waiters. First off, me and my two friends are skinheads. We happened to come in right after a clipper party at my house, and we're all dressed up. We are taken to a booth and given menus without a problem by the Ukranian greeter (we get a lot of Eastern European college students in my area). OUr waiter comes, and my friends, being 21, order beer, and I get a pepsi. Our waiter scurries off to his next table. We sit there, and wait. We were waiting for an hour and a half. When we see the waiter again, we ask him what happened to our drinks. He totally ignores the obvious AFA (Anti-Fascist Action, an organization obviously devoted to the fall of fascisim and racisim) patches on our jackets and starts talking about 'How he doesn't serve, and won't serve, nazis' we sit there and stare at him, then we all start yelling at him, and before I knew it we were escorted out and told to never come back. Ironically, the applebees went out of business soon after.

My worst experience was AT a restraunt but we werent eating.

Im a Paraphsycologist/ Cryptozoologigst. I study Bigfoot. Some of you may have Heard of the Mark twain Manor. Its in Pennsylvania. There is a restruant below it. We were in the dining room, were people were eating. I was there with a local Research team investigating a purported Haunting when I was Struck with a HORRIBLE HEADACHE. Anyone really close to me knows Im a Physcic. Well, I was a Hired Hand when I got attacked by Something. Im not sure what, but it was there. I Can sense Individual Feelings. I can tell if you're angry or not. Well this thing that I sensed was REALLY ANGRY at us for being there. I left the room and recovered. The investigation was cut short by the attack( Thats what I call it). Nothing Except that event and couple odd readings on the compass were regesterd. Since then I hav gone back but nothing like this happened. I assumed it was polterguist that followed someone to the restruant.

Hmm... I've had several, but let me explain to you an especially sketchy place I went to once:

My dad and I were stuck in Hartford on day after going to the Atheneum, so we decided to go get lunch in the city. I don't know much about the cuisine in Hartford, so I got nothing, but my dad suggests that we go to a restaurant called El Sarape, in the Mexican neighborhood.

Now, I'm not racist, so what freaked me out was not the macho dudes with oversized shirts and pants at their knees. What freaked me out was the fact that there was a big, looming, ugly juvenile detention center right next door to the place. Not only that, but some real scary guys in Escalades pulled up at the detention center just as we pulled in. The food was good, but apparently there was a shooting in that neighborhood on the same day as when my dad and I went there.

My worst restaurant I ever experienced is when my best friend and I went to a restaurant, We ordered for 9:00 am and then we waited so long for that time, we saw the clock it's actually 1:00 pm! We were very hungry and I just got out impatient that time.

When I was just 12 years old, We went to some restaurant in that time and then suddenly a kid just passed by and then dropped his sundae on me! I was so embarrased and the waiter suddenly showed and then spilled the food we just order. My mother was very angry, we went to another restaurant from that time!
