I donj't judge by sprite...I think cynthia was the best, bcause she had a different array of pokemon, which made her more challenging in a way...unlike the other champs who only stuck to one type...

Cynthia has a well balanced team I suppose but so does Gary/Blue which is who I'll cast my vote for for shear nostalgia since I've been playing since Red/Blue first came out and he's always been the most anticipated challenge for me.

My rival was also a good champion, he always made it harder to deafeat the elite 4.

Cynthia, she is not as intimidating as the others and has great fashion minus the fur.

Steven and lance are tied, easily.
They has the same taste in pokemon as me.
I love steel and Dragon type Pokemon, Which is always what my in game team consists of.

My favorites are Blue/Gary and Steven. I was able to defeat both of those chapions pretty easily, but I just love those characters~

My favorites are Steven and Cynthia, who I like because they actually interact with you outside of the League as opposed to just sitting in a room. (Well, I guess Blue/Gary does that too, but he's your rival. :P)

He has the strongest and most well balanced team in my opinion. Not to mention I love the pokemon he has.

Definitely Lance. When I first battled him I nearly lost to his third Dragonite--and was thinking of giving up--but my Poliwhirl somehow managed to faint it, and it ended up becoming my favorite battle. Sure, the other three have a nice team, but Lance is just the one that I find to be the most "impressive".

I'll go with Wallace. However, i hate water-types, it's just that all of the others didn't make any impression on me. And we have to admit, Wallace was a tough Gym Leader.

I'm gonna be a biased competitive battler here and say that none of them were actually decent. The first one (rival) was probably the strongest though because his Pokemon actually leveled up after the first battle.@_@
