I wonder if it is illegal to download music from video games...thats if you have them. What do you think of it? Should we at least be able to download music from our games?

Well, it depends on how you feel about non-game music. It's the same, because most bands or composers and so on that make music for games also have CDs and such that have the same music on it.

Yeah. VGM is commercially distributed, like other music, just in a different [usually more difficult to rip] format, so it would make sense if the same rules apply.
