Hello all,

It is my first try at making a team and I would like to get some feedback for what I've made etc.

Steelix@ Leftovers;
Relaxed
EV's: 252 HP / 120 Atk / 136 SpD

Moves:
~Stealth Rock
~Earthquake
~Gyro Ball
~Explosion

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Bold
EV's: 212HP / 252Def / 44SpA

Moves:
~Slack Off
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Grass Knot

Roserade @ Leftovers;
Timid
EV’s: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Natural Cure

Moves:
~Spikes
~Leaf Storm
~HP Fire
~Sleep Powder

Roserade mainly just sets up Toxic spikes/ makes the foe asleep and then sweep them out.

Ambipom @ Leftovers;
Hasty
EV’s: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Technician

Moves:
~Nasty Plot
~Baton Pass
~Swift
~ThunderBolt

Ambipom tries to get some SpA boosts with Nasty Plot and the Baton Passes it over to Roserade. Swift is a STAB and together with Technician, it’s power is boosted to 135 :). Thunderbolt is for the annoying Skarmory.

Blaziken @ Life Orb;
Mild
EV's: 236 Atk / 252 SpA / 20 Spe

Moves:
~Fire Blast
~Superpower
~HP Electric <-- Pls can this be changed??
~Vacuum Wave/Stone Edge <---- What to do here??

Blaziken is as a Physical Sweeper a nice poke but Mixed it’s even better, so here it is my choice getting a very fast Blaziken with nice moves for OHKOing.

Honchkrow @ Focus Sash;
Hasty
EV’s: 224 Atk / 48 SpA / 236 Spe
Insomnia

Moves:
~Sucker Punch
~Pursuit
~Drill Peck
~SuperPower

Honchkrow is a good lead when you irritate your opponents with Sucker Punch and Pursuit, Baton Passing with the Baton Passers in this team and kill the ****** walls and Stall teams.

Your Opinion My Team, feedback please...

Timid >> Mild on roserade.

Timid >>Hasty on Ambipom

Steelix set is set up fodder, nor do you need a sleep absorber with insomnia Honckrow.

Steelix@Leftovers
252 HP / 120 Atk / 136 Sp.Def
Relaxed / Impish Nature
~ Stealth Rock
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge / Gyro Ball / Iron Head
~ Explosion / Roar

Please.

You have a MASSIVE fighting weakness. Nothing can take close combats, put in a resist. (Roserade doesnt count), probably >> umbreon who doesnt really do anything for this team.

Id probably scarf Honchkrow too with Drill Peck >> Heat Wave, because Shaymin and Mismagius rip you apart. =/

some good fighting resists in UU are Grumpig, Hypno, Rotom, (the Slows?), and Claydol. Since you have Steelix as a phyiscal wall, I would use Hypno. Im not sure what a standard set is, I'll leave that up to D_A. T_T

Did you really just call Hypno and Grumpig Fighting resists lol? I don't know if I can take you seriously...

If you're looking for a Fighting-resist, you might as well use Slowbro. Slowbro and Steelix covers each other's weaknesses superbly. Slowbro can also spread paralysis, and resists Fire...So yeah, consider it.

That Steelix set is horrible, use this instead :)

Steelix@ Leftovers
252 HP | 120 Atk | 136 Sp.Def
Nature : Relaxed
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Gyro Ball
-Explosion

I'd consider Scarf Blaziken to have a decent revenge killer.

Blaziken@ Choice Scarf
76 Atk | 220 SpA | 212 Spe
Nature : Mild
-Superpower
-Overheat / Fire Blast
-HP Ice
-Thunderpunch

No they aren't, despite their resistance to it they are weak on the physical side and still take a fair hit. Go with Vance's idea, Slowbro over Umberon is an excellent idea ;)

There's no Skarmory in UU and Swift, despite Technician, isn't all that good a move for Ambipom. I'd consider making him a lead and using something like:

Ambipom@Focus Sash/Lum Berry
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Hasty/Technician

-Fake Out
-Payback
-U-Turn
-Brick Break

He makes quite the excellent lead as you can get at least 2 attacks in (Fake out is a free turn, and he outspeeds nearly everything for the U-turn) and a chance to switch in a counter. (Make sure next time when you're making a UU team to avoid the OU advice on Smogon :) )

Also, there's no real reason to have Umbreon and Ambipom be baton passers, your team doesn't benefit from it.

Alright, thanks for giving me helpful advice instead of insulting my already horrible intelligence. (reason number 2 y Pokedra>> . in tourney)

I detect a pretty bad Blaziken weak. Slowbro does a good job against it, as mentioned earlier.

I would also take all of the Focus Sashes off of your Pokemon that aren't leads. SR ruins Sashes too easily. D_A mentioned Scarfing Honchkrow, go ahead and do that. Roserade would prefer to have Leftovers.

However, Pokedra also does have a good point in saying that Blaziken can be used well for revenge killing. If you choose to go with Blaziken, Honchkrow has a fine moveset (idk EVs T_T), just slap a Life Orb on it. If you choose to take D_A's advice, Blaziken would like the following:

Blaizken @ Life Orb
Mild/Rash Nature
20 Spe/ 236 Atk/ 252 Spa

Fire Blast
Superpower
HP Electric
Vacuum Wave/Stone Edge

Yeah, this is HeYsUp's set from Smogon, but I've seen it in action, and its pretty destructive.

Everyone Please look at my first post again, edited some ****.

Slowbro over Umberon is an excellent idea ;)
why not a Slowking? and could you give me a decent set for slowbro?

whats SR? :\

And another saying i hate Choice sets so please don't get on with that, they only **** you up and use too many turns

Ambipom does help me i've tried the tactic i made with him and it's awesome, i ain't gonna change the Ambipom and Roserade Set.

i didn't knew skarmory was OU thought he was UU, i saw it somewhere.. dunno where

No Slowking because it's defence isn't as good as Slowbro's, Slowking's more of a special wall than anything else.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Bold
212HP/252Def/44SpA

-Slack Off
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-HP Electric / Grass Knot / Thunder Wave.

whats SR? :\

Stealth Rock

They're only annoying if you have like..3 or 4 on one team.

Comments in bold.

Slowbro would really help your blaziken weakness and overall Fighting weak.

Please dont use swear words its against the community rules.

Regardless choice sets dont mess you up if you are a competent player and can predict that is.

Shaymin + Torterra weak (If this thing gets in a rock polish you lose). Scarfing either Blaziken or Honchkrow would sort out the former, whilst adding something like Mesprit> Slowbro would sort out the latter and still gives you a fighting resist.

That steelix set is positively awful. Not only does it not need max def which is as stupid as giving Ninjask a Salac Berry, but its also set up fodder (Heck its that bad it loses to Scyther with just Aerial Ace ~_~) and your team doesnt even care about status anyway. Use the set which i provided earlier. Honestly it doesnt need many if any def evs. =/

EDIT : And do what E_S said with Roserade.

First off, there are too many poison types in uu for toxic spikes to work effectively, while spikes can hit incoming spinners, and most pokemon in the uu metagame. you'll also be forcing quite a few switches, both with walls and sweepers, and spikes should be there to capitalize on this. therfore i suggest you run a more bulky version of roserade

Roserade @ Leftovers
Calm
252 Hp 252 Sp.def 6 Sp.Atk

~Spikes
~Sludge Bomb
~Synthesis
~Energy Ball

This set functions extremely well at countering shaymin, energy ball is there because things in uu are generally lighter than in OU, and uu has much less weather, as it lacks tyranitar, hippowdon and abomasnow.

Also, take iron tail off steelix and replace it with gyro ball, the accuracy is terrible and a lot of steelix's targets are fast anyway, so iron tail is pretty redundant.

Finally, take the sash off honchkrow, it should only really be used when you have a preferably fast taunt lead, if it should be used at all. run drill peck > heat wave on honchkrow too for STAB, at the moment you lack a reliable STAB attack to use.

Overall, a great team with a few minor errors, and some pictures would help.

Edit: Loved D_A's Edit

anyone has an Steelix set/ replaceable pokemon set to complete this team (Physical wall is Steelix, obviously :P :P)
