I have a black 120GB video iPod, and I'd be lost without it.

Not sure what you're talking about, since the MPEG-1 standard, which includes MP1, MP2, and MP3, was drafted in 1991. In other words, all three were "created" at the same time (technically, work was done even before that). MP2 is often used for audio broadcasts; it's likely the spelling was just a typo, and s/he meant to type MP3 player.

And no. My media player is my laptop, and it works fine for me, since I take it everywhere.

Question now sorry if I sound rude or such but what MP3 does not have connection via USB? I mean the old battery ones are almost obsolete so yeah whatever. I do have one its a walkman from 06 and the size of a lighter.

I do! =D XD I have a rechargeable mp3. However, I'm in need of a new one. This one likes to freeze up on me (it's old and my clumsy fingers brings about obvious results).

I have a Sansa Clip MP3 player. Cheap, small, and gets the job done. Doesn't play videos, though. But it does take sound recordings and has a radio. Recharges from the computer. The only really sucky thing about it is it can't take MP4s, IE, anything on iTunes. >.>

My first MP3 player was a $200 one that used batteries and you use an SD card to store your files :)
