Browser timing out...

Well I am getting annoyed again! On my other computer, the browser is timing out! For the last 5 days, I was unable to get here. Every time I attempted to get on, I would get "The opperation has timed out attempting to contact www.pokecommunity.com" or somthing like that. Any ideas on what to do?

Get a new browser.
I recommend Opera, but failing that I hear Mozilla isn't too bad if you don't mind the crappy rendering engine.

Well, I used to use IE. Now I'm using Firefox, which if I'm correct runs on Mozilla? I'll try Opera, but I don't like the ads.

If you dont like Opera then maybe you'll want to try netscape..i never had problems with it...

I use firefox and i've never have those kind of problems...so maybe you should try firefox

I have tried everything! I am going to re-install windows. I think it was a spyware problem... now I can't even log on and I know for a fact it's because of spyware.

No, if you go into CQ&F you'll see PC is having problems with that. Use Firefox if you must use anything, I hate Netscape because it's so poorly coded... it has a HUGE memory footprint...

Well, it doesn't matter anymore. I can't log on to my computer. It is wierd... I'll use my dad's from now on so it's no big deal.

Okay, heres the update... I reinstalled Windows XP and so far everything is pretty good. I got Firefox again and I should be all set... One problem I have now, which I didn't have before is with the scrolling.... It's very slow and like "rough". I tried smoothscrolling, but it goes slower and is still "rough"...
