My friend is actually born here in Canada like me with knowledge only of english, but he's read so many Pokemon scans that he can read a little japanese. I don't know if hes bsing or not, but he says he read on the CoroCoro scan that you can now ride a Skateboard (he says he doesn't know if they're replacing the bike or not, but he's read on some forums that its going to be like the mach bike where you do tricks and stuff).

I just wanted to know, anyone here who can read japanese can read the CoroCoro scans and read if you ride a skateboard?

A long time ago I sent a letter to Nintendo telling them to have skateboards in the game. However, all they said was that they don't work with Sony. (Yes, I wrote a letter to Nintendo asking them to make a Pokemon game for the playstation and I sent in some ideas. This was a long time ago before I got Gamecube.) I felt like a fool when I got back that letter. I assume that the person who responded showed everyone that letter and they all laughed at me. ;( Though, it would be cool to see some trainers skateboarding even if the main character can't skateboard.

I want to handle this personally. People all believed that this following news is real. The situation I have to say has gotten out of hand and I cannot stand it. So then the following is fake:

-Release date 11th Sept
-Preorders start on July 20th, same date as new movie, speculative preorder movie cross promotion
-From the Johto map, Kanto is hinted at
-Wifi Features Expanded
-Skateboard

These were all reported to be in this months Coro-Coro. But as we know they were not. So to clear things up I made this. Drop the freaking skateboard thing.

The launch date for the games did seem a little too early to reveal just as yet to me along with the pre-order date, so I was a bit skeptical about that when I heard people talking about it. The WiFi features being expanded, we cannot rule it out because there will be possible future scans that can reveal it, but for now lets leave it along. The skateboard, ha ha, never bothered me if it was or wasn't in the game anyhow.

By the way, Todoroki, you can calm down. It is a forum, so there will always be people who discuss the right and wrong things, and it all gets answered eventually as time goes on. This is bound to happen with a new game as big as this being released, so expect the rumors, it isn't something new....

People probably got the idea from the Beta versions of Gold and Silver, where there was going to be Skateboard that allowed you to reach locations walking or Bike normally couldn't(Like how Acro Bike could reach places Walking and Mach Bike couldn't in in RSE)

From looking throught he GSC data, Honey Trees were originally going to be in the game, too, as well as a town where the Lake of Rage is. The former was implemented into DPP.
