I like Opera. But I have this problem where the font is uglier than Firefox on any site. I'll give you an example:
This is what I see in Opera:

This is what I see in Firefox:

Why is there differnet fonts? I have the same problem in Mozilla as well. Also, I'm using Fedora Core 2 Linux. Not Windows XP or any other. Please help. I really like Opera. :classic:

Looks uglier under Firefox, IMO.
But anyway, Firefox is smoothing the font edges, and Opera isn't.
Why one, and not the other? Cause it's something which Windows does of it's own accord and so Opera expects. So if your Linux distro doesn't have font smoothing by default, Opera will have fonts like that.

Oh. Ok I see now. So smooth text is built into Firefox but not Opera. And my Linux distro doesn't have smooth text on defualt. Right now I'm reading an article on on how to get smooth text in Linux. Thanks.
