Are you saving up for anything? Can you save up for anything? How much money do you have so far? What do you want to get?

Just some simple questions. I couldn't find anything while searching for the word 'save'.

Uhh... nothing in particular. Just saving up for later, if I might really want something.

I just bought a $150 camera, though, and my source of money isn't exactly.. steady, so I don't have enough for anything big right now.

Only a month 'til my birthday, though. So if I get money then I might have enough for something good. Maybe a new computer.. or something.

I never spend my money unless I have something I really want to get, so I guess I'm always saving up for the next thing I want. I don't get any allowance and haven't started working yet, so it isn't exactly easy.. but I'll get there eventually. I've only got $50 NZD right now and I'll probably get an iPod once I have enough money.

I just bought a new computer, which is win. It cost..about $210 dollars total to get running. It is pretty neat. I still need to spend $60 on a HDD and more memory. (Yes, I found a 320 GB HDD for 38.99 and 2 GB memory for 20.99, both compatible.)

So..
- $40.00 for a new HDD
- $20.00 for more memory.

Then, I want to save up for a netbook for school and travel, which will probably cost around 200-300 dollars.

Saving Up:
- $40.00 for a 320GB HDD.
- $20.00 for 2GB of RAM.
- $200.00 through $300.00 for a decent netbook.

I just bought a DSi and Diamond with money that I saved from work. Took me two paychecks. It cost a grand total of $218.18. But it was worth every penny:D

I haven't saved up for anything in a while (probably because I haven't had an income for the past three months), but when I do, I always end up spending what I've saved on something else before I actually have enough to buy what I wanted in the first place.

The most expensive thing I've ever saved up for was an $800 electric drum set, of which I only payed about $300 up front. My dad payed for the rest, and I just gave him a little out of my paycheck every week until I'd payed it off.

I'm always saving money, but never for anything in particular. Just in case I suddenly decide I want to buy something. I'll probably buy some more 360 games at some point.

I hardly ever spend money, though when I do, it'll be a splurge on several games/ clothes/ whatever. I have a nice little amount in my account from the work I did over Christmas (plus redundancy bonuses, yay Woolworths), plus some other stuff that's untouched. :/ I prefer to wait until my birthday and stuff to get the things I want, then I don't have to pay for them in a sense. XDDD;

I'm quite good at saving, but I'm not saving for anything in particular. Just letting money accumulate.

It's good, because it means when I see something expensive that I want, I've already done the saving for it. ^_^

Well I am very good of saving. I am trying to save for a Wii and a plane ticket. Well a plane ticket so I can see my parents in New Jersey. I usually will save for stuff I want other times it will be something I need. If it is a emergency.

I always end up spending what I've saved on something else before I actually have enough to buy what I wanted in the first place.

That's what I do too. -_-

I get impatient and blow it all out on something else. As a result I never have more than $10 to my name..

I'm getting better at saving money - restraining myself from buying stuff I don't need, cutting back on my gaming spending until I get through a bit of my backlog, and just in general setting more aside for saving.

I'm saving money, for a new laptop and/or a gaming console/handheld (either PS2, PS3 or PSP).
After that, I'm planning to save up to get enough money to donate to PC and be a PC Supporter. \o/

I end up spending the money I save most of the time, though. >_>
Which is why I only have about $20 at the moment. D:

Right now on nothing, but I might have to end up saving money on HGSS if I do get them, or even other games that will satisfy me until I get the money to, again, but HGSS.

I was recently saving for a laptop, but one day my mom saw one really cheap and decided to pay for the entire thing (except for $200 from my dad and the $60 she previously owed me). I wantedto use my money to buy a couple games, but they convinced me to save it for when we go to Florida in late August. That's probably a good idea, because I know my parents are gonna pull a "we're not buying you that, we just spent $800 on a laptop".

I am very stingy with my money because donating money is a taboo here, in my view. I don't buy unless I fancy what I buy and only if I had at least twice the amount needed or if it is not my money to keep.

Of course I saved a lot.

I'm saving for a nice big Mac desktop and Adobe Creative Suite 4, as I only have Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, Dreamweaver CS3 (which I haven't touched in ages) and a couple of Windows laptops.

I'm hoping to sell some art or something to help it go faster.

I'm just sort of saving in general. Not for anything specific (save the day I pay my parents back for my education) but I guess right now I'm saving up so I can pay my rent for the next year. I've got about $3 or 4 thousand right now which should last me the year with groceries if no major expenses come up. D: Then I'm also saving up somewhat for the few video games I have to buy this year, haha.

When I think of my spending habits I always sit and wonder how I manage to save so much. I'm not exactly really careful with my money but I've never had an overspending problem or anything so I guess I'm not so bad. XD; I raaaarely buy "big" things so I've always got plenty in my account.

I'm great at saving money. All I have to do is not let my parents know I have it, or they'll store it away in the bank of Mishy-no-touchliness. I save all change including pennies. I took a fraction of my penny savings and exchanged it for bills. I got $25.00 back XDDD. I also save any money I get from foreign countries. I have mexican bills that I recieved from my step dad, canadian money, and even some leftover money from the Dominican Republic. Unfortunately, that means nothing in America.

I spend my money when it hits about $500 if it isn't taken away first. It's usually spent on clothes for school and hanging out and sports and such, but it's sometimes spent on something like a mic or tablet. :3

I am saving up for an apartment, I figure. Either an apartment or some other thing to help me in life. I suppose I have to spend it on college, so I'm saving for more college payments.

And I currently have $4,000 saved.

I'm not really saving for anything specifically other than school. University is really expensive... I just like having money in my account and knowing that if I really want something I can buy it. I also need money to pay for rent and groceries while at school. I have...enough for a semester of school in my account right now.
