Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

Coming out for the Nintendo Gamecube, this sequel to Mario Kart 64 will feature 16 characters racing in teams of two. And the first shipment also has a special Bonus Disc included (best things in it is a Sonic Heroes playable demo and a Pokemon Colloseom movie, most other things on it are already out like Veiwtiful Joe). I reserved it at Best Buy. *cough*I know all the secrets known so far*cough* My team will be a mixture of Yoshi, Waluigi, Paratroopa, Bowser Jr., Bowser, and one of the secret character.

I bought this game yesterday at the same time as buying Mario Party 5 which is an extremely boring game.

I already expected the game to be a hit. EGM gave MK two 10's & a 9.

The game actually has twenty characters including the four unlockable ones. I like the new kart system, where you can select your car seperate to the characters.

Hehehehe! I hate gamecube games. Some of them are so stupid. I played double dash. It's pretty cool. But I would never buy it because it's boring! Grand turismo is more my style in racing games! LOL! I would rate Double Dash = 6.0

That statement was completely off base & ignorant.

Don't lable a game "stupid" just cuz you saw it on GC... More than likely it's a 2nd or 3rd party game, which are usually released on multiple consoles.

I have rented this game and I have already gotten everything in it! :classic: It is very fun and even though I have beaten it I will still end up getting it for Christmas, this is a must buy game, I find it is better then the old Mario Kart, except for battle mod, they could have done better with that.

Is it good? I loved MK64, but I still have a weird feeling because of F-Zero GX(When I play MK:SC, it feels so slow.....:P)

Yes, it is very fun! ANd much more challenging then MK64. I have gotten gold on every last cup, now I'm trying to get perfect scores on all cups, but I am having a hard time on 100cc and I could easily get perfect on any MK64 Mirror cup....

I’ve rented it. It’s quite fun, and I think it’s what keeps Andy so occupied. ^_^; You get stuff for having perfect scores? Nooo I’m having a hard time in 150cc just winning. I too could easily sweep the Mirrored one sin the Nintendo 64 version. I suppose I’m rusty. o.o;

No you don't get stuff for perfect scores, I just have done everything else except Time Trials.

And I had a hard time on Star Cup 100cc at first but no I can easily get Gold (by one or two points) on Mirror Special Cup (I think the individual cups are harder than the All Tour Cup because you get less or almost no chances to come back if you do badly on a race in the individual cups.)

That is such a fun game the coolest car i got so far is th waluigi racer i yous mario and luigi i cant seem to get pass 150cc and i have to return it to blockbuster today i think alman i wanted to finish it.

The only thing letting the game down at the minute is the cheating opponents on 150cc mode, but I guess that's become part of the series really.

I unlocked All Cups mode and had a quick go of it at 150cc level. By the final race my Bowser/Paratrooper team was tied first with Wario/Waluigi on 109 points each. My favourite course Rainbow Road being the last race...

...I finish fourth, nabbing silver while Wario and Waluigi take the gold. There's just no justice.

MKDD rocks!! its an awesome game! the teams id usually use are: Mario/Bowswer, Diddy/Yoshi, and Mario/baby Mario! :D dont ask me why though! :P

I got this game for Christmas. It's really fun. I really like playing on 100cc. Sadly, since I don't have any controllers of my own that haven't been wrecked by friends, I can only play with myself. This game doesn't have much lasting appeal on 1 Player mode.

Though I think adding characters like

and Baby Luigi was kinda pushing it.
