All right. I recently downloaded a few things (Mods for games) and one of them can't run because im missin jpeg62.dll.

I've found the file but i can't register it with regsvr32. Here is the error that im getting.

\windows\system32\jpeg62.dll was loaded, but the DllregisterServer entry point was not found.

This file can not be registered.

Anyway im thinking that i might need to reinstall .net frameworks (I reformatted my computer recently, and since i got a older xp install disk it might not have .net frameworks included on it) So that aside who here thinks they know what is wrong?

I'd say update your computer, get rid of crap programs, cut down the number of native windows applications (You don't really need "Windows Messenger", do you?, when you have Windows Live Messenger), and run ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com). Fixes registry type stuff too, which probably is your problem.

Copy the file to the game root folder.

Im running a clean install. Just the core win xp files and no extra crap. (Well... except for the stuff i added)

Also cows... i've tried that. It won't work.

Try getting the DLL off google?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249873

seems the dll file is corrupt or something.

On the other hand I found this:
