Inane question maybe, but I'm curious. What toppings do you like to put on your hot dog/wiener/sausage what have you?

Me, I'm a mustard-sauerkraut-onions kinda guy. That's not to say I'm not open to other combinations/toppings (almost everything tastes good on a hot dog to me except maybe mayonnaise), but that's my tried-and-true fave.

KY Jelly

I like to put ketchup and mustard on mine. : 3

August 3rd, 2009, 10:15 AM
Canned cheese, just canned cheese. Canned cheese is the best.

August 3rd, 2009, 10:19 AM
I have fried Onions and Ketchup.....Tomato Ketchup!

August 3rd, 2009, 10:23 AM
ehe. I don't eat hotdogs/sausages/whatever, but I eat EVERYTHING with chocolate ketchup. :D

August 3rd, 2009, 10:24 AM
I like to keep it simple with ketchup and some nice well cooked onions :P

August 3rd, 2009, 10:35 AM
I stated in an MSN convo what I would put on my Hot dog/Weiner/Sausage but it's not really appropriate LOL
I don't put nything on them. I only eat them if i really have to also

August 3rd, 2009, 11:27 AM
Plain Ketchup for me. Yeah, I'm just an average hot dog consumer.

August 3rd, 2009, 12:05 PM
I hardly eat them but if I do then I only like ketchup on them.

August 3rd, 2009, 12:11 PM
Ketchup plz. Sometimes I'll be daring and put mustard on too, but then regret it once I take a bite and forget that I don't like mustard very much. o_o;

August 3rd, 2009, 1:11 PM
I prefer them plain, or maybe with Ketchup. Most of the time, however, hot dogs make me nauseous. I don't know why, but it's probably all the different kind of meats and spices that don't sit well in my stomach.

August 3rd, 2009, 4:31 PM
For ages it was just tomato sauce (ketchup). However, I have recently discovered mustard as well. :D

August 3rd, 2009, 5:26 PM
When I'm at home eating hot dogs, I usually put ketchup, mustard, and sometimes relish on it. When I'm out, I might get those really good tasting red onions put on it. xD;

Now, brats are a different story. I put grilled onions on them, and sometimes mustard too. Mmmm. <3

August 3rd, 2009, 8:12 PM
I put nothing. I can't stand eating hot dogs with ketchup or almost anything for that matter.

Just a plain hot dog for me.

August 3rd, 2009, 8:16 PM
I just like ketchup on regular hotdogs. Chili is good too =P

August 3rd, 2009, 8:44 PM
What I like on my hot dogs?

Muster, mayo, cheese and if possible chilli. That just makes me go "Hot dog!"

Lame joke....

August 3rd, 2009, 8:52 PM

That's it. I don't like all the other stuff just ketchup.

August 3rd, 2009, 9:03 PM
mustard & sauerkraut yummeh <3

August 3rd, 2009, 11:10 PM
Ketchup and a little of mustard.

August 4th, 2009, 12:50 AM
I just like ketchup with my hotdog ;3

I don't like mustard, or mixing sauces anyway .. so no mustard for me thanks~

August 4th, 2009, 12:56 AM
Ketchup and mayonnaise. And maybe onion, if I feel like it.

August 4th, 2009, 1:10 AM
Most of the time mayonnaise, if not mayonnaise I wouldn't put anything on it.

August 4th, 2009, 1:11 AM
I just like ketchup with my hotdog ;3

I don't like mustard, or mixing sauces anyway .. so no mustard for me thanks~

She speaks teh truth. Go Ketchup <3

Wings Don't Cry
August 4th, 2009, 1:12 AM
Just the Ketchup, I don't like to have anything else with my Hotdog.

August 4th, 2009, 10:18 AM
I like to put condoments like mustard, ketchup, relish, mayo. Messy/mixed is best.

August 4th, 2009, 10:28 AM
Ketchup and only ketchup. I detest any other topping. :/

August 4th, 2009, 10:30 AM
oh, and it has to be wheat bread. Ketchup on white bread is disgusting....

August 4th, 2009, 11:02 AM
I like to put ketchup, mustard and barbecue sauce on my hotdogs. Of course, I put these condiments on all types of meat (and french fries), so I dunno if it counts.

August 4th, 2009, 12:34 PM
I used to melt cheese on them or put chilli when I used to eat them.

August 4th, 2009, 12:41 PM
Just Ketchup which is kind of embarressing since many people tell me only babies just get Ketchup.

Oh well. :)

This, this, this. It's like American yellow mustard, but better in every way.

August 4th, 2009, 8:09 PM
Ketchup, usually, although sometimes I'll put mustard or jalapeño peppers on. Last week I had some hot dogs... I was feeling a little adventurous, so I put some horsea sauce on it.

It tasted pretty good, to be honest.

August 5th, 2009, 4:43 AM
Ketchup and only ketchup.

I have dreadfully boring hot dogs. :(

August 5th, 2009, 4:46 AM
I have Spicy relish with onions and chillies n-n

August 5th, 2009, 7:36 AM
Only Ketchup, thats about it, but then again I rarely eat hotdogs to begin with

August 30th, 2009, 3:27 PM
I like it plain or with Ketchup lol xD

August 30th, 2009, 5:57 PM
I just use ketchup. :\ Nice and simple

I like mustard. Just not on my hot dog O_o

August 30th, 2009, 6:26 PM
Chili, cheese, mustard, and onions. ^_^

...I'm the only one that posted this delicious combination? Must be a Texas cultural thing...XD

August 30th, 2009, 6:54 PM
I love having chii, cheddar and onions on my hot dogs.
But if I'm not in the mood for that messy arrangement,
I'll usually have ketchup, mustard, relish, onion and maybe a little mayo.

August 30th, 2009, 10:07 PM
I love ketchup, mustard, and hot peppers on my hot dog. That dog is perfection. <3

August 30th, 2009, 10:58 PM
I, unfortunately do not eat hotdogs and have never really eaten one(to my knowledge) ever since I found out what was in them and stuff. :(

Ketchup is awesome, though. :D

September 3rd, 2009, 11:39 PM
I usually put hot sauce or sweet chilli sauce on my hot dogs. :3

September 4th, 2009, 9:37 AM
Chili, cheese and a little bit of mustard. If chili isn't available, ketchup and mustard are fine.

@ Cookie, that's why you get the all-beef 'dogs. Much tastier than your average hot dogs (unless you're at a ball game, and then it doesn't matter =D).

September 4th, 2009, 9:56 AM
I rarely eat hot dogs, but when I do, mustard don't care for keptchup on it.

September 4th, 2009, 1:41 PM
Mustard and ketchup only<3 Nothing tastes better. :>

bit.trip void
September 4th, 2009, 1:43 PM
Barbecue sauce, and cheese. :3.

I <3 hotdogs. :>

September 5th, 2009, 7:42 AM
I am a very plain person. My food, of course, is plain without sauce and other additives.

As such, my sausages are pure sausages.

September 5th, 2009, 7:51 AM
I don't usually eat them unless I'm at a baseball game~!
In which case, my favorites are ketchup, mustard, relish, cheddar cheese, and bacon bits!
Buuut these days they almost never have the cheese or bacon. ):
When I'm at home, I just go with ketchup/mustard/relish if I have all of them... x) Too lazy to go through the whole cheese and bacon ordeal!

No, you fail
September 5th, 2009, 1:20 PM
i don't really like all the topping's i'm fine with a plain hotdog:)

September 5th, 2009, 1:27 PM
I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat hot dogs. . However, when I did eat hotdogs, I liked them with chili, relish, or ketchup. Or a combo of all three.

September 5th, 2009, 7:18 PM
if it's a regular hot-dog, ketchup [and relish, the odd time] will do.
but when it's a hot dog with cheese in the middle, i MUST have ketchup, relish, and mustard.
idk why i'm like that, i just am.

September 18th, 2009, 5:11 PM
I haven't had a hot dog for a looong time, but when I do very occasionally have them I put tomato ketchup on the sausage. Yum yum yum! ^_^

September 18th, 2009, 5:26 PM
Well, it would be a condom :D

Usually ketchup.

A bun usually helps too.

Wow, I'm not even trying to sound perverted but it's coming off that way.

September 18th, 2009, 8:41 PM
Tomato sauce. That's like, all I ever have on it.

September 18th, 2009, 8:49 PM
Relish + Ketchup + Shredded_Cheese + Chili + Mustard + Barbecue Sauce + Steak Sauce + ...

September 20th, 2009, 6:26 AM
I don't put anything on it because it would ruin the taste :[

= GPR =
September 24th, 2009, 1:32 PM
I don't eat hot dogs. Any thing that has pork for that matter actually. It's not a religeous thing. Just preference.
