Mountain Dew is technically my favorite soda, but I've been cutting down on it lately.

I barely drink soda these days, but my favorite is still orange soda and Dr. Pepper. I usually drink water or go for arizona green tea.

My favorite soda drink is either Sprite or Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper tastes a little bit like vanilla and Sprite tastes like lime. I'm not too fond of Coca-Cola, though. It has that bland taste, and it leaves an after-taste, but if Coca-Cola is all I have, then it will do. I would say Shasta is my least favorite. My tongue turns a orange/purple color everytime I drink it. o3o The worst kind of soda is a flat one.

The word "soda" sounds silly to me, because in the UK it just means...soda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soda_water). Which you call seltzer in the US.

I think we just call them fizzy drinks, or carbonated soft drinks.

I don't like any soda. Coke is too fizzy and burns my throat when I swallow (although the taste is nice). Pepsi is the same as coke without the nice taste. Sprite is weird and burns my throat. 7up? Never had it. I've never had the crazy lime or vanilla or cherry flavors of anything. I can't have two sips of rootbeer without gagging. The only sodas that I can tolerate are Orange Soda (Fanta?) and Grape Soda. I'm not fond of the grape, but I choose it over other sodas if I have to. Orange is just plain good. I just wish it didn't burn my throat also. :/

Sprite/7up/Sierra Mist because of practical use of turning anything I want into a soda (Raspberry Iced Tea in the Subways). As an actual drink for flavor, Root Beer, Dr. Pepper or Mountain Dew, interchangeably.

Although I'm more of a water person than anything else, Lilt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilt) is my favourite soft drink mostly because of its tropical flavour. I don't mind Coke or Pepsi, to me they just...taste the same, there's no variety between them, of course people might disagree with me there. As I've said though, I'm more of a water person, so the only time I would drink any soda is when I'm out near a vending machine.
