New signature limiter

We’ve recently added an experimental signature limiter that will place signatures that are over our limits inside scrollboxes. If yours is in one, it means it’s too large. Remove or resize some images or text to get it to fit.

If you see any problems or flukes, report them in this thread.

This doesn't have to do with it directly, but I think it might be affected due to it (it only started after the code was added).

The little drop down arrows don't appear for me anymore. I'm talking about the ones next to "Quick Links" or "Thread Tools." o.o *on FireFox*

I wouldn’t have any idea how to tie in into usergroups. o_o; You wouldn’t have to edit much on your sig to get it to fit though.

Why don't you remove the warning and leave the signature with the scrollbar?

The signatures seem to be restricted to 500 in width - and they're automatically centred left, so that's why the sigs seem smaller than normal. It happens to me, too.

Is there any way to see the rest of teh sigs on netscape? On nestcape there is no scroll box, and it automatically cuts off the sig after the certain point. It's kinda annoying, just in case I ACTAULLY wanted to see the sig (EDIT: you think I wouldn't be complaining because I'm stuck with the 800x600 screen XD).
Also, if I ever make a big sig, how am I supposed to know that I'm not breaking the rules? If it's a diffrence of only a few pixels then Ill think it's fine. oO;;

He's already said he wants to have it more or less a surprise - he doesn't care what's in the sig as long as it's reasonable. Plus, just PM him or something to further this - we're going majorly OT and there may still be people who have problems with the sig feature. We should let them take the spotlight here so all issues can be dealt with.

Hmm, I guess not. Really most people who have this happen to them will change their sigs soon, so you should stick with whatever works best.

The entire signature cannot exceed 550 x 500. That includes both images and text.

Best we can do without a hack, really. And I think it works fine.

It automatically wraps things that aren't over the limit, like my quote box.

If I added much more to it, it would send me over the limit. -_-

When stuff like quote boxes and such are put at the full width, then sigs are a lot shorter than before. This new thing will only make things longer.

Yes, but no one bothers (at least I don't) to waste time and click on the link to see. It also makes your sig look disgusting.
