yeah, in the little GIFs I posted, you can see some of them, there attacks are computer genaraited, and so are there transformations sceen.

Today's question: Have any of you played SM:Another Story?

That's what i was playing recently :3 i love seeing them use their actual attacks and seeing different combos <3, but not being able to see the hp of the enemy, and having the enemy's hp so strong that it takes about 12 rounds to kill them (along with lipstick etc. top-ups) was a little annoying >.< i didn't understand why the enemies were huge and blurry in the fight scenes XD
That game made me love Sailor Saturn ^0^ and i did love the storyline (although i didn't finish past the arc because of the above reason >.< got bored of the enemies)..they could've made sailor moon and chibi a lot stronger though ^^;

Yeah, they pop up in human form in most big battles after S, but they (Luna and Artimis) get to fight Sailor Tin Cat in human form in StarS, they were all aperently from the same planet. o.o

I've never played any of the games. ;;

I resently downloaded the S special and the Ami's first love special, I loved them, the stories were very cute. The S special had a lot of Haruka+Michuru, A flash back episode of Usagi's battles up until that point, and a episode where Chibi fights a vampire girl. XD

I heard that in the original japanese version of StarS, proper romance is started between uranus and neptune, but it was editted out in the dubbed version

Yeah, after seeing the special, it's blatantly obvious there’s something going on, Usagi and Chibi even start giggling when they think of the two of them alone… But yeah, in the dub, they change the dialog between them, and make them cousins, ick. XP

I have the first two volumes of StarS. And yeah I noticed the Outer Senshi are there. Plus it is a extension from SuperS like the first three or four epsiodes(of vol 1). ^^

Anyway, Yes! I can't wait to see then Usagi and Chibiusa swap ages. That is going to be a classic. XDD Well I watched up to disc 4 now. I am getting ready to watch disc 5. I had no idea there was a Sailor Moon club! Sugoi ne!!!

Can I join? I love SM; it's one of the first anime I ever got really hooked on. :P And it's the anime that got me interested in Japanese music (which led to my interest in anything and everything Japanese, lol). I don't have any art or special tidbits to share, although I did sing the first bit of "Moonlight Densetsu" for the Singing Contest! ^_^ If you wanna hear my sucky voice butcher that song, you're welcome to check it out here (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=35844) before they decide who moves on to the next round, in which case they'll probably remove mine. I don't anticipate making the cut to the next round, lol.

I don't have all of the Anime yet, but I do have all of the manga, as it was released by Mixx in their pocket manga versions. :) The anime's a good deal different from the manga, isn't it? I think I'd have to say that my favorite season has been and always will be the first one. The very end, where princess Serenity defeats Beryl is one of my favorite scenes, lol.

Well, I guess I'd better open up the floor for someone else. Feel free to tell me what you thought of my singing, although if you have to flame me about it, I hope you'll PM me, so that the others don't have to watch me being teased, lol.

Rini to begin with will start out as just her young version, but later on in the game, she will go through a metomorphis due to the apperance of 2 new sailor scouts:

Sailor Neo and Sailor Sedna.

If anyone wants to do some concept art for the new sailors then please do.

Did i also mention adult rini will be playble ;)

We are currently making them, but i would be more than happy to put your sailor in the game with its own henshin. If you post the pucs im sure me and my friend could make the sprites and, you could instruct us on what you want the henshin to look like. By henshin i mean transformation.

But i can give you a few details on sailor sedna:

She is 14
Her planet is newly discovered. But ties in with the moonkingdom on a great level (reveal that later)
Thats all im saying so far

Sailor Neo:

She is a 16 year old girl
She is the feared sailor of Non existence (Sailor sedna and neo make an apperance together)

There henshins are amazing trust me!!!!

I like the anime's ending better, the manga's is quiet confusing, and I had to go back and read it a few times, and then look online for a better explanation. >< I supose it had to be changed, because of the absents of certain characters in the anime.
SPOILER:




































Anime: Chibi Chibi is Sailor Galexia's star seed. Before Galexia was taken over by chaos, she sent her star seed away, (so she could be reborn later, I guess), and it took the form of a little girl, and by luck she ran into Usagi and the other senshi.

Manga: She's Sailor Cosmos, disguised as a little girl. At the last battle, she ran away, so to fix her mistake, she went back in time, to find Sailor Moon, and guide her, so when it happened again, she could survive and finally beat the chaos. (that’s all I could make of it, the dialog is too mysterious. -- ) Basicly, the astroid senshi are the only ones who live through the final battle, when Sailor Ceres ask who she is, she says "I am the coward who ran away from battle" and then goes on to talk about how Sailor Moon beat chaos.

I agree the manga explanation was weird. I didn't get it at first either. I wonder if it was that odd in Naoko Takeuchi's japanese version too, or if it was just "weirdifiedl" through the translation to english. :P Btw, I'm referring to the Mixx translation, lol.

Sailor Chibi Moon(Chibiusa): Because she is very independent as child, she says what is thinking, brave, and she do anything for her friends and Helios.

Sailor Mercury(Ami): Because she is soo smart, she can get out of tough situations by using logic, and also she is soo brave.

Sailor Jupiter(Makoto): Because she is super strong, she can cook very well, and she is brave and independent.

Thank you Transducer for sharing that animation with us. It's interesting to see some footage from Sailor Stars since I have never been able to watch it myself.

But from what people have told me, it was never dubbed because of how hard it would have been to explain some of the relationships involved in it. Another reason for it not being dubbed was because of the battle near the end of the season when Sailor Moon and this villian were battling naked.

But I wish they had at least released it out on DVD... ;_;

The reason it was taken off the air is becuase they thought it was not getting enough veiwers. And most likely, just becuase they wanted to put more 'boy' anime on and replace good anime with the US made stuff :( . That, and the rights for Sailor Moon in the US have run out, so now no one can dub it :surprised *sigh*

Basicly, studios buy the rights to make a dub and put it out on DVD. As it is, the maker of Sailor Moon has decided she not longer cares to renew the little agreement that let's companies in the US be even able to place a bid for the rights. So that means, no more new subs or dubs or anything. Once the shops run out of the DVD/VHS they have, that's it :(.

I meant US made cartoons that try to look like anime. There are a few good ones, but only a few :sleeping:

We only ever got the first series of sailor moon in the UK ._. Cartoon Network here isn't as good as the US. The only two animes we've ever really had on it are Sailor Moon and Escaflowne. We've also had One Piece but that's about it :/
That's why I had to buy the DVD sets to see the other series ^^;

Yep, StarS is the final one. I need to get the rest of the epsiodes. So far I only got Vol 1 and 2 fansubed. I only hope they will bring it to the States. But I doubt it. *sigh*

Right now The Live action one is the only one, snice the anime series is over. I wish they could make another anime season. XD

Yeah, you should watch it. It is soo good. S is my favorite series. SuperS is my second fave. =3

I've seen all of the live action and it's mixed, it's both good but I used the fast forward button WAY to much in the series.

The live action series completed in Sept. ish of 2004, but continued with specials to December. Right now, there is no more live action planned, the actress who played Rei has already made it clear she will not be back, and it seems like the others are moving on with there careers. Supposedly, the rating of the series in Japan were not that hot, but from the posts of other fans I've read online the majority of the opinions were good.

*ROOMER ALERT* A few fans have talked with a higher marketing people within ADV, the person believed that Live Action Sailor Moon could work in the US.

At this point, the series has not been licenced so BitTorrent is your best chance for seeing the series, and the group that did the entire series minus some of the specials was #Tv-Nihon. I'm not going to provide any links due to unsureness about forum rules on these issues.
