I'd like to use some custom images to fancify my profile page, but I'm not sure what the standard sizes are (height and width in pixels) for things like the header and footer bars. While making said pictures, I'm going to assume that most of my visitors will be using the "fixed width" option, if that's any help.

So does anyone have those dimensions? If all else fails, I can screenshot and manually check in Paint.

The height ... 50 pixels is a safe measurement. It's good to get a little more than the actual height of the header. The width doesn't really matter. Just set it to repeat-x.

Mmmyep. Messing around with my page a bit showed me that width doesn't really matter much, as long as it isn't too small. I'm going to keep the height a bit shorter though, around 30, since the minor header is about 23 pixels tall.
