As soppy as it sounds, I cried a bit at the end... I had so much fun with my little Cyndaquil, with his partner Mud :P It was hard bearing his loss. Happy endings all about though! :)

Well I didn't cry or anything but....I did feel really sad.

My little Cyndaquil. My little brother cried, though, at the end. I told him I can't blame him. It really was sad.

i must be weird because NO I didnt feel sad or anything most animes/games dont make me sad even if they try. In mystery dugen I didnt car because I hated my partner He always ran away was week and kept on dying I was always defending him so I was actualy happy he was gone. the only fake thing that made me realy sad was full metal ackemest with the Ed-WaRd sence that was sad and death not when light died stupid L

Miss Soupy
September 20th, 2009, 01:08 AM
Har har, I did cry in the first game, BRT. I had no idea what to expect and I really thought it was over. And then just seeing everyone's reactions pulled at my heartstrings a bit.

In EoT, however, I didn't cry. I was pretty much expecting what was going to happen, and it did. But I've gotta say, the reaction from your partner was, in my opinion, loads more emotional than the first game. ;m;

OokamiReki

It was so sad, I wish crying when I read the words it was so sad. In PMD1, I also cried. The words in PMD1 when it says your partner was heart broken also made me cry.
So, yes it did.

No. No. No. I am a reploid, you see. Reploids don't have feelings.
And therefore, while playing MD, crying over stuff that ain't real is pathectic.
So... the answer is... nope... I, Zero, won't cry over stuff like that.

October 10th, 2009, 08:29 PM
Seriously who cried? That's just sad it's a GAME it's not like a family member died or anything but really you should just get a grip it's a GAME

Myles
October 11th, 2009, 01:45 AM
Definitely didn't cry. You can always count on PMD to give you a good ending though and a good mid-story for that matter.

I don't see how being transported between dimensions (PMD1) can be compared so much to being wiped from existence.

The ending was pretty predictable, in my opinion. So no, I didn't cry, because I saw it coming from a mile away...

Actually, on that topic, most of the storyline was, too. :(

The first time I beat Blue, I cried an itty bit, and even though I knew what was coming, Darkness made me cry too... Due to the presentation, definitely. After the first time, even though it made me sad, I didn't cry.

What can I say?

Awesome.
October 17th, 2009, 12:41 AM
yes but only because I was extremely tired and didn't know what I was thinking XD

I was actually quite happy (sadistic lol) Because it was my cousin's game, he was sad though, but I was hoping that Chimchar would not return... But the game ended up wanting to return Chimchar, then I was sad and he was happy

Maybe if the game was mine it would have turned out differently

Police had to restrain me when pikachu died, I was that upset. For the next week I couldn't eat. The game evented for kids aged 5-8 really hurt me deep down. It just shows how meaningfull pokemon can be. This scene changed my entire life... I'm not sure I can look at the producers anymore after doing slomething so cruel.
It's like that one really hot day... Where you fall asleep... And when you wake up... George Foreman is standing over you wearing noting but a grill over his private parts...

Actually, I did cry at the end. It's amazing that you can get so attached to two game characters so much that you mourn their deaths like they were a part of your family.

I rarely cry and the only other time I cried is when my Dad died.

Vespinus
November 2nd, 2009, 11:02 AM
I cried a bit. For games which are aimed at younger children the endings are really quite sad.

I know it was really sad, but I don't remember if I cried or not. I was Cyndaquil and my partner was Piplup. I think I might have shed a tear or something, but I can't remember. Now I remember. (It was Explorers of Darkness.) I cried. It was sad. I love my Piplup buddy.

I was shocked when Dusknoir was the bad guy. I was like WTF when he pulled me and Piplup into the time warp. Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness is a great game. I have Manaphy, but I can't find a Blue Gummi anywhere to continue.

The game has a very interesting plot. =D WAY better than the first one.

I cry at anything sad, so of course I wept buckets.
Even just thinking about the ending is making me begin to tear up! ;_;

Dang, it was just so tragic! Pikachu's face! His desperation for me to stay! Of course, combined with that simply heartbreaking music, I couldn't help but blub.

Some people cried at the end PMDEoT/D because they are more emotional or become more syncronized with thier game. If you are more synchronised with your hero character than you get more excited and more depressed when an event happens to you and your partner. Personally, i had a hero Torchic and a partner Chikorita, and i really felt in sync with my Torchic so when he disappeared i felt like Chikorita 'heart broken', so i too cried, not 'my husband/wife and children have been murdered', but a fair few tears.

I'll admit, i did get choked up, and didn't talk, for the fear that i might burst into tears... I was around people who hadn't witnessed what I did...

I guess I was sorta inured a little... The first time I ever cried at an anime/game was when i was really little, i'll admit to this, tho. it was when ash walked away from pikachu in the first series... after he saw pikachu content with others of his kind, he just let go and cried and went to leave...so...sad...

not anymore, but...
