What should I add to my Deck?

Okay, I got the LeafGreen Deck 2 days ago to revive my old Pokémon passion and to get my little (5 year old) brother to play. I've added the following cards:

1x Jungle Butterfree
3x Base Set Metapods
1x Caterpie (Base Set)
1x Oddish (Jungle)
1x Gloom (Jungle)
1x Vileplum (Jungle)
2x Switch
1x Energy Retrieval
1x Super Potion
5x Green Energy
1x Recycle

That's the lot of it...if you don't know the LeafGreen deck, then I'll go search for a card list (it's big, I'm lazy...bad mix). Tell me what cards I should look for (which set its from also would help). Thanks for any help...

I think you need to take out the caterpie family and add the nidoran(male)family.if you don't have ill come up with something new.

Haha tell me from what set to get it from. I don't have that many cards (I gave away most of them back in 7th grade when I stopped playing...4.5 years ago), but getting them isn't a problem...money-wise I mean. Anyways, just gimme as many suggestions as possible. I might be interested in playing some "good" people with this deck...:P

If it were me I would take out any stage 2 cards and most stage 1 cards as well. They just slow down you deck.

However, you do need some better cards:
~Proffesor Elm
~Elm's Training Method
~Relic Hunter
~Sabrina's Gaze

Suggestion: Go to a card store like Shinders and buy some newer cards for cheap...really cheap.

Cool. I've been away for a long time (from the card game), so I don't know most of the new cards...I'm gonna try to see if I can go down by some card store tomorrow....after I get paid...

I think that I should keep some cards...for example, Bill's Maintenance...and that other one that lets me check my deck for any Pkmn card...
