I put a charmeleon and a wartortle in day care together and it said that they did not like one another, yet after a long time, they had an egg. The same thing happened with my swampert and blaziken. What's up with that?

I've no idea, but I'm curious, did the eggs hatch?

I've moved this to Breeders Corner... since it's more about breeding than Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Enjoy ^_^

well, I traded one to a friend and he said it hatched into a squirtle, mine hasn't been hatched yet. You'd think that it would be impossible, yet they bred and made eggs.

well if their the same egg type then it doesn't matter what pokemo they are, the egg will be the littlest form of the female pokemon so you'rs would also be a squirtle

As long as the egg group matches, you *WILL* have an egg. The "not liking" matter is only related to how long it'll take to get an egg.

Yeah, it's no surprise, Wartortle and Charmander are actually in the same egg group - Monster. Have a read of the Egg Families sometime, it makes for interesting thoughts
