The Pokémon Games
PG-16/PG-17 for Death/Violence
Background:
The Pokémon Games is an ancient tradition in the old land of Sinnoh. For roughly fifty years these have been occurring once every year in a new city. The first city they began in was Sunyshore City. The games started when the infamous Pokémon champion Gale Frost took over the region of Sinnoh and lost it into utter chaos. The town of Sunyshore was the worst, so it got the most destruction. In the end, Gale took over the city and proclaimed the annual games as ruler of Sinnoh. Many tried to stop this, but they were the very first group forced into the games themselves.
This group of trainers was eventually broken into doing terrible things to each other in order to stay alive. The games, being broadcasted online, on TV, over radio, and almost any other electrical device, proved to the people of Sinnoh that they could do nothing. They soon began to lose hope, and the games continued. Each year one person would win the Pokémon Games, but the other five will inevitably die. People are allowed teams of 1-6 Pokémon in the games, and generally (if they do not die themselves) these Pokémon will reside in the arena for future years.
Now the Pokémon Games has come to one of the worst areas possible—the Snowpoint City Arena. You can imagine why this would be terrible. There are snow storms that make it impossibly cold, people freeze to death under the chilling conditions, and it is obviously a little more difficult to find certain resources. This is one of the few years that the Guiders will (or may or may not chose to) help the most, but though they offer you help it might be in vain. Six people will be chosen, but who will make it out alive?
Basic Need-To-Know Information:
The games call for roughly six competitors—three boys and three girls. Using Pokémon as their partners, they have a slight edge (depending on the Pokémon in their party) to winning the games. They will not know which arena they are going to beforehand, so it will be futile for them to get as many fire types as they can. They will simply come with a team and, be it helpful or not, they will have to survive with that team alone. They can, however, capture wild Pokémon but only if the team has less than six Pokémon on it.
As for “wild Pokémon” technically these are Pokémon that have already been trained and have seen the hardships of the world. They will be strong, difficult to capture, and very ruthless. In fact, generally the PokeMakers use them as a special “treat” for the competitors if the game gets boring. Be ready for a difficult fight if you are trying to capture one in the area. Generally these Pokémon come in ones because they are mostly all trainer Pokémon that has been released when the trainers lose the game. Do not come fully expecting to capture these Pokemon, because your character will be unsure what kind will be there. There is also a low catch rate (unless it is a natural Pokemon, like Snover, Snorunt, etc.) for these particular Pokemon. Many will be in stage three, but a few will still be in stage two.
People Involved:
PokeMakers-they are almost literally your worst nightmares. These are the evil people that design the games. They think of anything and everything they can to destroy you, and a lot of the time it will. They especially like conjuring up natural disasters (which they can do with the help of Pokémon and certain control areas in the arena), summoning angry Pokémon, and many other things. If they dislike you and are after you, then you’d better make sure you’ll put up a good fight.
Guiders-you should love these people, no matter how much you hate the games or the world. Your Guiders will watch over you during the games. Occasionally (if they can scrounge up the money) they will send you gifts that will help you out. These gifts can range from a package of cookies to a master ball, depending on your need. They can also provide medicine if you get injured (which you obviously will). Get on their good side, and you might just have a shot at these games.
Competitors-that’s you, people. Competitors are the ones in the games. This is often how you will be referred to on TV if you are in a big group.
Pokémon Information:
You will all have received your first Pokémon from Gale’s minions on the “Pass Out Day”. This is a day on the first day of autumn that Gale’s minions will pass out a single Pokémon to people who are officially twelve so they can begin to grow and develop with these Pokémon. Basically it is an excuse to get people slightly prepared for the games. A few people occasionally get Pokémon from their parents, however, so you may have a Pokémon received on Pass Out Day as well as an earlier one from your parents. Your other Pokémon past Pass Out Day will be obtained through trades/parents/wild.
Note: You may only have a final evolution Pokémon if your character has a high class life. If you feel unsure about final evolutions, just PM me and I will let you know if your character design calls for it.

My SU:
Name: Sahib Bihar
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Appearance:
The first thing someone would notice about Sahib is his height. He stands at roughly six feet four inches tall, making him look rather thin and lanky. Though he is thin and lanky, he does have some muscle. His muscle type is that which thin people have; more of a wiry type that isn’t very bulky. His skin is a medium tan color that he has inherited from his Indian parents. Sahib’s eyes are dark brown. Sometimes, upon a brief glance (or if the room is just dark) his eyes can appear a charcoal color. Sahib has long, black hair that goes to about his shoulders. When he’s working particularly hard, he often ties his hair back so it doesn’t get in his way. He has a small goatee on his chin, but other than that his face is smooth.
Sahib really doesn’t have that many refined things, because of the class of life in Sinnoh. He actually grew up in the front line—Sunyshore City. His clothes mostly consist of a simple dark T-shirt and a pair of torn jeans. As for shoes, he wears his brother’s old Converse. He has had them for years, so they are worn and have a hole or two, but they work for him. Sahib has a single accessory (other than an occasional hair band)—a gold necklace that he got from his father. It’s a simple chain, but it’s the nicest thing Sahib owns. He never takes it off and takes the utmost care of it.
Personality:
Sahib has a slightly twisted personality. It isn’t twisted in the way you’d first think. He isn’t psychotic or anything. Sahib simply thinks outside the box. He’s very brainy, but isn’t a stereotypical nerd because of his looks and the fact he isn’t super serious around his friends. Sabir is very humble and prefers to keep to himself (unless he is around his few friends, once again). He is also very mature and knows how to treat a woman properly. He doesn’t go for the “macho man” act and try to look all tough to impress people. Many people think he’s a genius because of how he voices things, but in reality he just thinks things through a lot more than most people.
Many people think that, just because he’s very smart, means he doesn’t have any flaws. That’s completely untrue. Seeing as he is fairly quiet around people he doesn’t know, Sahib tends to box himself up and doesn’t talk much. Since he has had a fairly difficult childhood (because of his living in Sunyshore) Sahib also feels very rebellious towards Gale Frost. Normally Sahib is like a pacifist. He dislikes fighting for no reason quite a bit, which could be most of the reason why he doesn’t like the Pokémon Games. To him it isn’t fair to make people fight just for your own amusement, no matter how much they may or may not deserve it.
History:
Sahib was born and raised in Sunyshore City. His parents didn’t get the best end of the stick, considering it is one of the most fearful places to live. Sahib grew up in a hard life full of back breaking work, but that work has also made him strong. To him, his family is basically all that he has excluding his two friends. When his brother was entered in the fourty-seventh Pokémon Games and died, Sahib picked up his role and started helping even more in the family. They are able to afford minor luxuries and keep food on the table, but doing all that and watching his sister when she works is difficult for him.
City Lived In: Sunyshore City
Skill:
Sahib is very good at reading emotions and solving puzzles. If you’re lying to him, he’ll find out. If you say you’re being nice but you’re planning to kill him, he’d kill you first because he’d know. Being very good with his mind, Sahib is very intellectual.
Flaw:
Sahib doesn’t get along well with people. Highly unlikely he would be willing to form a team to win, but might if you get on his good side. He has never had any experience with weapons, but it is likely he wouldn’t handle them the greatest.
Pokémon Team:
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/2/20/005.pngCharmeleon (♂)
His first Pokémon obtained. Charizard was passed out as his starter by Gale’s minions, and many people were envious. Truthfully Sahib was lucky to obtain a Charmander. They are exceedingly rare for people to obtain, because generally Gale’s minions hand out Pokémon like Starly or Bidoof. Charmeleon is Sahib’s main powerhouse. It’s very serious when in battle, but also knows how to relax. Charmeleon is very close to Sahib, but they are not fully in sync yet. Charmeleon and Alakazam are especially close.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/6/6a/065.pngAlakazam(♂)
Alakazam was also one of Sahib’s very first Pokémon. He obtained this Pokémon as an Abra the day his eldest brother was sent into the games himself. Seeing as Alakazam grew up with Charmeleon, they are one of the best tag teams. Alakazam only evolved because Sahib traded it as soon as he realized he would be participating in the games. Alakazam is very intelligent, and mostly relies on his mind to do his work. Though he may seem exceptionally strong at first, he is nowhere near his full potential as a psychic Pokémon.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/e/ea/129.pngMagikarp(♀)
Ah, Magikarp. This is Sahib’s newest and most useless Pokémon. He found it flopping about in the ocean and got it on a fishing line. Sahib thought it was amusing how the Pokémon flopped around so much, so he kept it. Magikarp appears to be rather dumb seeing as she just flops about all day, but you can’t be too sure… Charmeleon and Alakazam don’t really think much of her, because she just flops.

Is it possible to reserve spots for this RP? I want to join, but it's too late for me to write an SU today.
Also, can I have a Honchkrow? Sorry about asking, but I'm not sure i I can resist the urge to use Honchkrow EVERYwhere now :D

Yup, you can reserve spots =) You'll be reserved for 24 hours. As for Honchkrow, you may have one but make sure the SU is very good. Just make sure your person comes from a better background, as people who live bad lives won't have much time to train.
Oh, and when you reserve please tell me if your character is going to be a boy or girl just so I can tell people what's left =)
So far...

Kaliff Leslie
Nickname- Neal
Male
20
Appearance
6ft, athletic build.
Eyes: Jade Green
Light brown hair on top, dark brown on bottom. He has long sideburns and a goatee.
Black and Sliver gauges in both ears with a stud under his lip.
Tattoos: Retro designs, starting from his shoulder to his elbow on the right arm. On the left arm is a series of black strips that lead down to his wrist. On his back is a pair of wings.
He wears a small Black and Red cotton shirt to show off his built arms. On the sleeves are strings to pull them tight or let loose. He pants are baggy but always stay in the same spot. His black studded belt is for only keeping his Pokeballs. He has a chain the swoops down and led to his back pocket, where he keeps his wallet. Last are his shoes that are black and white converse style sneakers. Around his next is a red beaded necklace and he wears several black rings around his fingers.
Personality
Good Nature
Kaliff is your all around kind of guy. The one you don’t get to know if you don’t talk to him. Sometimes he comes off as a prick but this is not the case with him. He doesn’t believe in talking people down, unless they need to be put in their place. He hates to argue unless it’s the silly playful type. He doesn’t judge and let people speak for themselves.
Outgoing
Kaliff isn’t just another stoner who lay’s around. he like to put it to good use. He vey athletic and loves to exercise a lot. Loves to free run whenever he get the chance. He loves to stay active when there is nothing else to do. So he is usually always on the move.
Book Nerd.
Well Kaliff is far from a book Nerd, but he is very interested in finding out how things work. His grades where in the top 10 of his school, but you wouldn’t know by looking at him. He has great insight on Pokémon moves and how to combine them into never before seen ones. Well in theory at least. He likes to read up on tactic skills to help him in battle. He loves puzzles but this is not one of his favorite passions.
Dreamer
Kaliff is quite the dreamer. Every since he was little he could feel the push and the pull of the moon. He would always know if there was a full moon or not, without having to look in the sky. When it is a perfect end to a nice day, Kaliff loves to sit in the grass under the night sky and look at the stars. Wishing he could rest among the clouds. He always felt that there was something more out there them what he saw everyday on earth. He believes with all his heart that he’s not human, yet nothing has came about to prove it.
Head Strong
Kaliff know what he want in life and goes for it. Yet doubt will only come in to play when he is confused or doesn’t have all the right information. He is cut throat about his friends and Pokémon. And will take down anyone who mistreats them.
Hobbies
Besides playing the guitar, Kaliff also like to skateboard when he get the chance to. He is skilled at drawing and photography. When he isn’t doing any of that he like to go surfing.
Laid Back
When his go get them attitude doesn’t call for it, Kaliff is very laid back. He enjoys a good laugh and love to joke around with his friends. People say he has two different personalities, One who likes to go balls deep in battle, and one who drifts and adapts to life without much say so.
History
Kaliff grew up on Mandarin Island located in the Orange Islands. There he lived with both his parents, Mica and Nathan Leslie; along with his younger brother and sister who was twins named Grace and Gale. Life wasn’t hard for Kaliff his family was wealthy and his parents always wanted the best for their kids. In doing so they sent Kaliff to a private Pokémon academy called PokeThec when he was 12. There he spent his time learning about Pokémon and battle moves. It wasn’t until his second year he told people to call him Neal. This was because people always missed heard him and called him Caleb instead of Kaliff. During his time at school (http://www1.flexysearch.com/trf_split.php?query=time+at+school), Neal became popular for his good looks and skill in battle simulations. So girls would always be tailing around him. He never minded the attention but he made it clear to them that he didn’t like girls. The guys on the other hand loved his battle spirited and voted him Prime Tactics Master his last five years there. This was the title given to a student who won every battle in and battle simulation dome. Despite this, Neal never got the chance to raise his own Pokémon. It was always just books and theories in class. He knew that in real life Pokémon could reach full potential and not just be limited to computer stats. So it didn’t sit too well with him.
His mother works at the local Pokémon clinic helping sick Pokémon, so she was gone most of the time. His father worked for a corporation the design and test new pokeballs. He was usually late every night are stay over to do research at the lab. Even with his parents being gone he still loved them along with his younger siblings. So when his parents were out he always made sure that he would spend time with them.
After he graduated in the top 10 when he was 18, Neal took a trip to Jhoto with his friends. There they spent the year traveling around seeing the cities and taking in different cultures. It was at this time Neal (http://www1.flexysearch.com/trf_split.php?query=time+Neal) wanted to set out on his own so that he could bond and train with Pokémon. He 1st stop was kanto. There he spent another devoted to cacthing and trianing his pokemon. After that he made he way to shinon in the hopes to train different types before he challenged any gyms.

Roleplay Example
I promise to participate in the Annual
pokemon games as long as my character shall live
Out of the center of the door loomed out a Ghasty. It dark core sphere hosting a brilliant purple haze seeped through the door as if it was nothing.
Come on in it said. Catching Neal off guard.
“Woh…That ghastly just spoke..”
The Pokémon in this region must have evolved to the point they can learn human speech. Has the bond grown faster between humans and Pokémon in Laoki.
“…Cyeah” he grinned. Holding up his camera and snapping a quick picture. He thought it was mad at him, for its color became a slight ill green. Later to realize was because the smell of smoke was on him.
“Sorry about that” His soft rugged voice carried out.
He was now inside looking at the list of Pokémon he would choose from. He felt it queer to choose his partner off a checklist. Good selection in there line up. Not like most labs that would hand out three. So it was kind of hard to make and answer. His jade green eyes scrolled down to a Bagon and lower than that a Dratini. His family just adored Dragons. They were his favorite on the simulators at the academy. Grace and Gale his twin brother and sister both adored Bagon. Gale, more liking his full evolved form.
“Dra..” he was cut off at the Ghasty telling him that smoking was prohibited.
“Woh..Um..Yeah no problem.” giving off a silk smirk. Sort of laughing at himself, as if he would have done it without asking. He reached his hand to his face scratching the fine stubble hair on his cheek.
He was getting off to a bad start seemingly and Neal didn’t want that.
“Well Im Kaliff but you can just call me Neal.” His rugged voiced chimed out once more. This was crazy he thought. He was talking to a Pokémon. Something he never would have seen himself doing in life.
“Do you still have a Dratini here?” He asked now rubbing his fingers in his ginger-brown hair.
“But I was wondering… if I can get a shot of a Bagon before I do.” He grinned, eyes focus on Ghasty giant pupils.
“Only if that ok with the Prof.” He looked around for a bit. Where is the Professor, he thought. It was only at this time he heard faint snoring in the distance.…

Name: Zachary Petrelli
Gender: Male (Trust me, I checked)
Age: 17
Appearance: Zachary stands a bit shorter than your average 17 year old. At 5”4, he was one of the shortest people in his class. He has natural black/dark brown hair, dyed blonde. He has rosy cheeks, like he’s blushing 24/7, along with hazel eyes. His favourite clothes (which he was wearing when he embarked on his journey) is a tattered black jacket with a white Ponyta shirt underneath, along with denim jeans ripped slightly at the knees. He tends to be a bit buffed up, since he worked down at the mines in Oreburgh City, but is a tad modest and likes to cover it up.
Personality: Zachary, being a bit buffed up from working at Oreburgh City, tends to be a bit modest. He likes to keep secrets, and tends to be a bit shy at the most of times, and doesn’t like to open up to people. This has happened to be a good thing, since there were no real distractions when doing important things. Zachary also doesn’t tend to think things through a lot of the time, and seems to make rash decisions a lot of the time. This can be a good thing as well, since he doesn’t have to over-think anything or make second remarks, which leaves him with a lot of time on his hands. Zachary would also go to the Oreburgh Museum every chance he could.
History: Zachary grew up in the small town of Oreburgh city. He had gained the skills and profession of a coal miner when he was at a young age, due to his father being a high-up in the mining industry. He first learnt about and found his love of Pokémon when his dad brought home a Machop for him. He loved him to bits, back when he was about 6 or 7 years of age. When he was mature enough, with his dad’s assistance and supervision, he went to Route 207 and caught himself a Ponyta. He caught this Ponyta knowing that one day he would go into the Pokemon games.
City Lived In: Oreburgh City
Skill: As a role in the mining industry, he knows about all the rocks and sediment in Sinnoh, so he knows about all the best camping grounds. He also is good at keeping his cool.
Flaw: He doesn’t talk a lot, being modest and all, would be his biggest flaw.
Pokémon Team:
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/plmfa/67.png
Machoke
Male
Attacks: Revenge, Foresight, ThunderPunch, Low Kick
Machoke, being a Machop when Zachary was young, was his first Pokemon that he had owned. Machoke is his closest friend, and likes to help out a lot of the time.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/plmfa/78.png
Rapidash
Female
Moves: Flamethrower, Stomp, Horn Attack, Will-O-Wisp
Rapidash, was his second pokemon and likes to run around a lot. When Rapidash found out they were going on an adventure to Snowpoint town for the games, Rapidash got excited and started to run around everywhere.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/plmfa/436.png
Bronzor
(Bronzors have genders??)
Moves: Confusion, Metal Sound, Hypnosis, Extrasensory
Bronzor is Zachary’s newest Pokemon, only being caught on the way to the games in Mount Coronet. They aren’t tomo familiar with each other yet.
RP Sample: Umm… I don’t exactly have an RP sample with me, since this is my first time RPing. If you need an example still, I’d be happy to give you one. :P

Interesting. I think I'll give it a shot
Name: Kenny Vapor
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Appearance: Alot of people fall for Kenny for his boy-band good looks... but that's about it. He has messy dirty blonde hair that hangs in front of his hard cold blue-gray eyes giving him a mysterious look. His left ear is pierced with a white gold small hoop he occaisionally plays with. He stands at 5'9" and weighs about 190lbs with an average build. On normal days, her wears a black superchick band shirt with purple and black tripp pants held up by a studded black belt which give him a menacing gothic look whereas on Cold days, he adds 2 black hoodies and a pair of black sweatpants under the tripp pants to the outfit. Being as practical as he is, he constantly wears sneaker-like brown steel-toe hiking boots and uses a black messenger bag with purple inserts to carry all his belongings. Black wristbands and a .47 caliber bullet hanging around his neck on a gold necklace chain complete the look.
Personality: Many have called Kenny a ruthless, cold-hearted *******. Although seemingly laid-back when alone, he is constantly on alert and shockingly quiet around others. He doesn't speak unless absolutly necessary and prefers actions over words. When people can get him talking, they are usually surprised by his blunt-ness, willingness to argue, and harsh-sounding voice, which anyone can tell could make him sound like an angel if he actually tried. Kevin is the loner type who'd rather forge his own path than work with others unless he absolutely has to. Since he's never had any actual friends, he has no idea how to handle friends and is just as snide, and sarcastic with them as when other people can get him to talk. Many underestimate him and label him cocky in battle, but he has yet to underestimate an opponent. His masterful strategie's and tactics astound many who've had the chance to watch him battle, but they can also tell he does have a soft side... buried deep inside by the way he battles. Not being very athletic, most would assume next to no hobbies whatsoever, but that is completely wrong. Kevin is a wiz with anything mechanical, but he specializes in cars and computers as well as knows some defensive karate moves. Many don't realize one of the many reasons he doesn't talk much is because he has deep-seated body image issues and is, actually, very suicidal, using the wristbands to hide his many suicide attempts.
History: Kenny didn't live a hard life or a pamper life, but a rather emotionally detached life. His mother died when he was 4 from disease and he hasn't been the same since. His dad never really showed any interest in his son beyond showing him the family tradition of mechanic-work. Kevin eventually withdrew completely by age 7, cutting off any and all emotions whatsoever. Due to this, as he got older, he became more and more twisted. Having no friends ever only accelerated this as no kids wanted to be friends with the weird kid. At age 12, his Aunt gave him a baby Seel for Christmas. and by age 13, he set off on his own journey through Kanto, Johto, and eventually Hoenn, collecting badges and ruthlessly training.
At age 15, near the end of the Ice Cave in Johto, was the first time he ever attempted suicide. The blood trailing down his arm surprisingly relieved him of all his problems and worries, as if they all flowed out in the blood. This, started a whole new slew of mental problems for the already mentally unstable boy. He would've died in the cave, had another trainer not found him and rescued him. Having no concept of why the other trainer, a rather pretty girl, would bother saving someone like him, he bluntly told her off. Anyone who watched the conversation st the pokemon center could've easily told she was flirting with him, but again, kevin had no experience in this area and misjudged it.
By age 17, he was already working his way through Hoenn and well on his way to Sinnoh. Earning a rather notorious rep on his way. By the time he reached Sinnoh at age 18, he was surprised by how everything had changed since he first heard about it. He shrugged it off and continued his journey not really caring what became of the region, but rather wondering what He'd do after since he DEFINITELY didn't want to go back to his family. Upon seeing Hearthomb City, he figured he'd probably settle down and live out life as a lonely bachelor.
City Lived In: Celadon City (As a child). Hearthomb City (now)
Skill: Kevin is skilled in mechanics and firearms especially and holds gun licenses for all regions... along with guns. He also has deadly sharp aim.
Flaw: Unless being defensive, Keving sucks at hand to hand or close range combat.
Pokémon Team: (Can be from 1-6. You will have opportunites to catch very powerful Pokémon in the games, but do not rely on it. Please include a description of your Pokémon…any special characteristics, yadda yadda)

Seel is one of the few beings who's able to see Kevin's anguish and as such, is very protective. She's very attack first, ask questions later about it.
Scizor
Male
Attacks: Steel Wing, Agility, Night Slash, False Swipe
Scizor is a bit of a teddy bear, always wanting affection and willing to do anything to get it. Always willing to fight because it usually involves affection at the end from Kevin.
Leafeon
Female
Attacks: Toxic, Razor Leaf, Synthesis, Giga Drain
constantly full of energy and rarin' to fight. Kevin's most determined pokemon in battle.
Houndour
Male
Attacks: Flamethrower, Crunch, Howl, Hyper Beam
Houndour is the pokemon Kevin has the second best relationship with, the first being Seel. He can be considered Kevin's only loyal friend.
RP Sample: Kevin yawned. He was bored... and in the middle of a battle.
"Night Slash Scizor" He said in a harsh sounding, almost bored, voice. His Scizor Hovered up to the Pupitar as it's claws glowed an un-natural purple and began slashing seemingly uncontrollably. When the attack ended a few seconds later, The Pupitar was revealed to have fainted.
"I win." It wasn't a question, but a statement. Kevin had won another battle... just as his Scizor knocked him to the ground, once again begging for affection.
"okay, Okay." He said getting up and brushing himself off, before scratching behind one of the three prongs on Scizor's head. The Scizor seemingly purred in response.
The other trainer seemed surprise at the affection Kevin was showing the Scizor, but reluctantly approached. He stuck his hand out for a hand shake.
"Good Battle". Kevin took the offered hand and shook it hand slightly then nodded in response before calling Scizor back into his pokeball. Kevin then quickly turned around and walked off in the direction of Hearthomb City, taking out his iPod as Superchick's song "Hey Hey" blasted from the earphones into his ears.
-----
At the Pokemon Center, Kevin rushed into the boys bathroom before turning around and locking the door behind him. He turned around again and leaned against the door.
"This is it." he said with an almost psychotic growl. "The day I finally succeed." Reaching into the sole of his right hiking boot, he pulled out a sharp razor. He stared at it for a few moments, taking in how beautiful the macabre object glinted in the dim lighting of the bathroom. Slowly but surely, he raised the thick wriatsbands up on his arms, revealing a series of at least 20 scars on both wrists. Some deep, some not, some freshly healed. Kevin winced slightly as he drug the razor across the almost porcelain skin of his left wrist first, sighing in relief as the blood seemed to gush out of the self-inflicted wound. But the problems that seemed to flow out wasn't enough for his satisfaction and he soon dragged the razor slowly across his right wrist. The blood pooled around him as he slowly slid down the door, a wide, psychotic grin plastered on his face. It seemed he would succeed this time. Ending his pain, suffering and emotional trauma once and for all. Unfortuneatly, Someone had noticed the blood seeping through under the door and had begun trying to break down the door.

*I'm changing gender!*
Name: Natalie "Tale" Fuwani
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: Natalie is a slender girl, and with her 5 feet 3 inches she has some confidence in her build. Muscle has never been her strong side, so there's no impressive arms or legs to look at. She's alays standing straight, with smooth skin neither tan nor pale. Looking at her hands, you would notice her hands are actually fairly large, with long, thin fingers. They look unusually brittle, but are quite dexterous.
Natalies head is of average size. She as a somewhat elongated face with a protruding nose, large, leaf-green eyes and a thin mout that often is curled up in a playful smile. Her untended light-brown hair grows wild ald flows down her back, quite scuffy-looking as it is.
Natalie is very fond of purple. She usually dresses in white shirts and loose, purple jackets. On hot days, she exchanges her purple jacket with an equally purple, long-sleeved shirt and a deep-blue skirt. Normally though, she simply picks out a pair of trousers, usually deep-blue, black or purple. Her shoes are simple and black in colour.
As she has a flair for dramatics, Tale often adds something unusual to her outfit. Most of the days she is seen with white gloves, a neat black bow tie and a purple (duh) top hat.
Unlike her hair, Tale keeps her clothes relatively spotless.
Personality: Tale is eccentric. Very eccentric. She has absolutely no qualms about trying new things, no matter how weird they are. She often acts completely at random, just to see how people react. Often she fails to see how her action might hurt other people, a subject of constant discussion with her parents. If you don't know her, she is likely to be unpredictable. But it is possible to get used to. She is quite the playful girl, often dragging unwilling people into her fun and games. She values her friends over most other things in her life, and grudges is not her style. In fact, amnesia is a small problem she struggles with.
Despite this she enjoys having some msytique about her, and often keeps information about herself close to her. Of course, once she has befriended someone, she happily tells them anything. Like many other childish people, she is very naive and will believe most of what she hears. She hates taking orders.
Tale loves all things creative and spents much time drawing, writing and painting. This doesen't mean she's any good at it- most people would say she has a horrible taste.
History: Natalie's life was pretty much as carefree as a life in such a world can be. She grew up in the rather peaceful Eterna City, the only changes being the renovated Old Chateau and the expanded Valley Windworks near Floraoma. Her father worked in showbusiness as a talented magician, and she gaine much of his eccentric personality. Her mother, however, was pretty tired of her man's oddball behavior and was grieved to see their only child taking after him. She has aways kept her daugther at a safe emotional distance, but Tale loves her as much as her father anyway. being unable to focus on one thing for very long, she was no natural at school, barey making it through the lower secondary. Tale was very happy when she got her Pokémon friends, as most of the other kids preferred to stay away from their strange classmate. She pent her days pplaying in the forest or trying to be an artist in her room. Their family managed very well and could give her most of what she wanted, resulting in her being a bit pampered.
Her parents were grieved when she was picked out for the Pokémon Games, but Natalie- not fully undertanding the danger of the situation- was actually quite happy for getting to do something new. She isn't particularly fond of Gale Frost, but finds him and his history interesting.
City Lived In: Eterna City
Skill: Natalie is creative beyond the norm. Ideas bloom up in her head all the time, and she has a knack of seeing things never seen by others. She never ever is concerned about how others view her.
Flaw: Tale is often betrayed by her naiveness. In addition, she won't helpout much in a group, seeing as she tends to act on her own whims.

Drifblim (male): Natalies Drifblim was given to her as a Drifloon by Gales men. They found it injured at the Windworks and saw Tale as an easy opportunity to get rid of it. Natalie raised it with loving care and always brought it when playing in the woods. When she had to develop battling skills for the Games, she decided to go on the defensive. Drifblims signature skill is bouncing back physical blows by using Stockpile at the moment of impact.
It has learned from Tale to be caring- and eccentric. It is a good friend for her other Pokémon.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/d/df/315.png (http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/d/df/315.png)
Roselia (Female):
Roselia was captured as a cute little Budew in Eterna Forest. Natalie was obsessed with gaining new playmates at the time, and using Drifloon she captured it. Though not very powerful, Tales care gave it the happiness it needed to evolve. She get's along very good with Drifblim.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/3/39/Spr_4p_198_m.png (http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/3/39/Spr_4p_198_m.png)
Murkrow (Male): Tale captured her Murkrow one night in the forest after she had fled from her mother after she had a fit when Tale re-painted most of the kitchen in a multitude of colours. The Pokémon looked so lonely, and Tale could not resist the urge to give it some new friends. She has found it to be quote headstrong and self-sufficient, but it gets along well with Drifblim in particular.
RP sample (From Pokémon Heart and Soul):
Anthony Highgate bounced happily through the streets of New Bark Town. Even though he had fallen asleep on the ferry, he was pretty sure that there was still Pokémon left in this.... err... Professor Pillow, was'nt it? Anyway, in his laboratory. Anthony was as happy as a child on Christmas Eve. Well, that was a pretty common feeling for Anthony, but today it was different. It was a mixture of bubbling happiness an a rush of excitement with just a little golden touch of mint added together. Finally was he going to get a new Pokémon, a new friend. And together, Anthony Highgate, Melvin the Meditite and some new Pokémon from professor... professor... Swillow or something were going on neeew adventures! He just hoped he could get himself a traveling company on the way. A new human friend to share is experiences with.
Anthony spotted the laboratory in the distance and broke into a run. He was almost squealing of exicement and half ran, half danced towards the building. He kept his eyes focused on the laboratory that meant a new start to him. Mistake. Of course he did'nt notice the dent in the road. He stumbled and almost tripped, he was thrown foward, but managed to keep on his feet. A sudden dread filled him as he saw his fedora fly off his head, and without thinking he lunged after it. He got himself a rather uncomfortable blow in his cheek, but at least he caught the hat. Stumbling to his feet and placing the hat on the head once again he continued the sprint, paying no heed to his clothes, which were now grimed in dust.
At last he bustled in the door to the laboratory ans looked aound in excitement. As he tried to find that... professor something, he was approached by an aide. Anthony followed the man's look to his dirty clothes and flushed.
"Oh... um, sorry bout that" he said and tipped his hat. "I'm Anthony Highgate, and I'm here to see Professor Killow" The aide gave him a half-hearted smile and said "Make that Professor Willow, and follow me" Anthony slapped his forehead as he followed. Of course! Willow it was! He was just so stupid sometimes...
When introduced to the professor, Anthony shook his hand vigorously. "Good day, professor Willow! I'm Anthony Highgate! It's so nice to meet you! Have you got any.. you know..." Willow chuckled and showed him to a table with a Pokéball.
"Just wait as I upgrade your Pokédex" he said. Anthony stood tripping for what seemed like an eternity, staring at the round thing on the table. When professor Willow handed it back, he couldn't get any longer than "Okay, n..." before Anthony had grabbed the Pokéball and tossed it. In a flash of light something that looked like a lobster with large eyes and round claws appeared. Anthony could'nt help cry with delight as he pointed his new Pokédex at it.
"Corphish. The Ruffian Pokémon. Corphish will eat anything and uses its sharp claws to catch prey".
"A Corphish! WOW!" Anthony cried and hugged the thing as it tried to pich his ears with it's claws. He turned and started walking out of the lab when he heard a cough behind him. He slapped his forehead agin. Of course. He turned and shook the professor's hand again. "I'm so happy! Thanks a lot, professor Millow!" And with that he was on his way out again.
Once outside he called out Melvin so he could meet his new teammate. they seemed to get along fine. "You need a name, little friend" he said. "How about... Calvin? Calvin the Corphish!" The Ruffian pokémon nodded and smiled happily, and Anthony was almost in euphoria. then he remebered something. A friend to share experiences with. There were many youngsters outside the lab, but none of them looked particularly interesting. Then he noticed a short, but powerfully built man sleeping on the grass ith an ape-like Pokémon beside him. And in Anthony's mind, something said click. He knew that for no particurlar reason, he liked that guy. He would make a good companion.
Anthony jogged over to the sleeping man with Melvin and Calvin tailing behind. How to wake him up and introduce himself? The easy way of course. Anthony prodded the sleeeping guy with his toe and said:
"Hello there! Whats up?"

PokeDream: Your SU is alright, but I have a few issues. So declined. One issue is that I'd prefer his personality/appearance be in paragraph form (more personality you did a list though). Also, the History doesn't really go with the plot seeing as there are no gyms. The final thing is the Pokemon Team. It is just simply too strong.
Faster Than A Bullet: I'm iffy with you. First, you forgot the password ;) Second, every character has to have recieved one Pokemon from Gale's minions/Gale. Also your character would have no idea they are going in the games, so you might want to rethink Rapidash's explanation deal. The paragraphs are medium in size, but if you could add a little please =) Right now, I have to say declined.
Z34guy: Your SU is very good, but I'm a little iffy about the history. I mostly just am wondering about his travels. The other regions haven't been taken over, so he is free to travel so you're fine there. But please put that he was stationary in Sinnoh when they drew the names, so pick a city =). You also forgot the password. For now (because I see you're editing with an RP sample) you're pending.
Vorteld: I say your SU was perfectly fine. Glad you put the password. The team looks perfectly fine for your character's status in her city. So you're accepted.
Notice!
So here's the total:

Girls Left: 0 (1 Taken, 2 Reserved)
I'll post if more spots open.

Name:Lilith (Lily) Blaze
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: The first thing someone would notice about Lily is her eyes. They are a light blue and very pretty. She is around 5'8 and has a very slim body, but with a bit of an athletic type. Her skin is a light tan, as for her hair it is a lightish brown and is usually pulled back in a ponytail, when it is down it is a little longer then shoulder length. She usually has her nails painted a bright pink as to stand out a bit more.
As for her usual attire she can usually be seen wearing a bright blue tank top and tight jeans. She usually wears tennis shoes but sometimes would have a pair of flip flops on. She also wears a blue head band to keep her hair out of her eyes and she likes to think it brings out her eyes. Both her eyes are pierced with one small diamond earing in each.
Personality: Lily tends to be very caring and kind towards everyone, but at the same time she can have a tough and competitive mentality. She doesn't like to be picked on or see other people who are defenseless be picked on. The caring and tough personality seem to help her in tough times. It is also very helpful when she sees somebody else in trouble. Lily would never look away from someone who was in danger no matter how dangerous the situation she would risk her own life to save someone else... and at times that scares her.
She can tend to be a bit of a girly girl at times, and this may be at fault of her parents for pampering her. She really enjoys doing girly stuff, but at the same time if it's really needed she can turn into a tomboy just like that.
History:
City Lived In: Lily was raised in Jubilife with her parents. Her life was never really that tough during Gales reign her father had inheirted money from his father and they basically had no worries. Lilie's mother wanted her daughter to grow up pampered and beautiful and not have to worry about the troubles in the world. But Lilie's deep compassion for other people made her try to learn more about what was going on. She knew she could never let her parents knew so she would leave the house for awhile and pretend she was going to a friends, instead she would go out and do some studying on the current situation and find ways to help. Don't let her full you though she enjoyed the pampering and she always would, but apart of her just couldn't sit around and let other people suffer.
Skill: Although it may not look like Lily is a pretty strong girl and for awhile she took a few karate classes, just in case it was ever needed. (She did this during times when she lied to her parents)
Flaw: lilith's one fatal flaw is the fact that she cares far more then she should, and this could lead to trouble.
Pokémon Team:
http://www.dragonflycave.com/emsprites/152chikorita.pngChikorita (female)
Chikorita is the newest pokemon to Lily's party, she obtained it from her mothers Meganium who had an egg, it hatched a few weeks before Lily was entered in the the games. Chikorita is a very happy going pokemon, and usually gets scared easily and crumbling in terror of pressure situations. She has not really become very close to Lily's other pokemon but it has bonded quickly with Lily, and loves being around her.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/dpsprites/136flareon.pngFlareon (female)
Flareon has been Lily's closest friend since the day the met. Lily likes to believe it was fate that brought the two together. When she was about eleven years old she was playing outside when she heard a strange noise coming from a few bushes behind her. She slowly made her way to the bush and what she found was a weak and beaten eevee it was so frightned but the moment Lily started petting it, it calmed down. That may have been the very moment Lily developed her caring personally. She then nursed the Eevee back to health and was going to realease it back into the wild but it decided to stay with her. Flareon has a very playful attitude but can get very serious when needed to be.
http://www.dragonflycave.com/flsprites/125electabuzz.pngElectabuzz (male)
Elecatbuzz is the powerhouse of Lily's team. It was given to her as an elekid by Gales minions when she was tweleve. At first it was a very playful pokemon always getting along with Eevee, he was happy until it evolved into Electabuzz. Once he evolved he took on more of the manly type role and always feels it has to protect Lily from danger. It won't let anyone get near her when it's out of it's pokeball and if you'd try it will shock you. Although deep down inside Lily knows he is still his old happy self he just tries to impress her and keep her safe.
I promise to participate in the annual pokemon games as long as my character shall live.

Z34guy: This was recently drawn to my attention. Your SU sample is small, but that's fine. The writing seems good, just make sure your posts aren't too short. As for your Pokemon team, he may have grown up elsewhere but I think that many fully evolved Pokemon is too much. Pick two and make them down a stage or two. Still pending.
Sacred Beo: Nice SU =) Accepted.
As for when you die...you're not kicked out, lol, you'll still be able to post in the OOC thread but just not post in this one. You can still offer suggestions/comments/advice/etc. Just you won't be posting really.

SU:
Name: Cornelia ‘Cin’ or 'Cinna' Lenore
Gender: Femme
Age: 16
Appearance: Cornelia is small. Small in every which way possible. She’s incredibly skinny, has no chest whatsoever, and neither does she have a lot of height. This, paired with her almost angelic look, make her seem like a perfect little girl, and definitely 3 years younger than she is.
Her face is a bit on the round side, with very light blue eyes and fair skin. She has a button nose with high cheekbones and light freckles under her eyes and long lashes surrounding these windows to her soul.
Her hair is an almost white-blonde naturally. It is just above shoulder-length and very curly. She usually uses clips and ribbons to keep it in check. She has long bangs framing her face that are almost straight and move with the part on the right side of her head.
Clothing-wise Cornelia dresses very fancy, for she comes from a good family. Since she lives in Celestic Town, she is used to a bit of the chilly weather, but she is always clad in the finest of fabrics. Cornelia’s girly qualities allow her to wear skirts all the time, and seldom wear pants. With the skirts she always wears thick stockings to keep her legs warm. Cornelia has a love for wool, she usually wears a wool sweater too, it’s very warm in a town where very warm seldom occurs.
She does have a favourite coat, which isn’t really a coat at all, more of a cape. It’s a velvet garment without sleeves that reaches down to little over her elbows and is tied at the hollow of her throat with a red ribbon. The coat has a hood, too, and even though it’s not the thickest it is very snug.
On her feet she usually wears tan boots that are lined with wool. Since the weather is pretty rough around that area, getting lots of fog and snow, those boots keep her snuggly warm while having a good grip too, and she loves them.
Personality: Cornelia is first and foremost a spoiled girl. She was the Mayor’s daughter so she got the things that she wanted, and never got the worst of the suppression. She’s always been selfish, it’s in her nation. If she has to choose between taking care of herself, and someone else, she would choose herself. She has always taken care of herself before others, but that doesn’t make her a bad person. In these times, sometimes it’s good to think of yourself.
She has grown up a lot in the past years of her life, growing from a naïve and carefree little girl to a more serious young woman. Of course, 16 years of watching the Games has to leave its mark. Such brutality does not just brush off. A serious nature does not mean that she’s not a girl. There are many moment when she returns to being lighthearted and a slight bit giggly. That simple girlishness will always be there beneath her skin.
Cornelia is incredibly stubborn, but the world around her has also beaten a bit of acceptance in her. She got told she would participate in the games, and she accepts that there is nothing she can do to change this. But also, now that that has happened, she is determined to enter, and leave, it with a bang. They wanted her in it so badly, well, they would get her. That is her mentality.
Emotional? Yupp that's what she is. She tries to be strong, to hide her emotions, but really her face is an open book. There are moments when holding things in simply become too much. The last drop in the bucket, as they call it. She'll have a meltdown, being completely embarrassed about it afterwards. Meltdowns include crying, screaming, potential violence and a very distraught little girl.
History: As mentioned, Cornelia was the beautiful little daughter of the mayor of Celestic Town. The town was small and place in a region of undesirable cold, so there wasn’t that much influence that the mayor got, but it was better than the rest of the town. Cornelia was a shining girl, full of sunshine and happiness at first. She was the girl that yelled from happiness when her father got her a Ponyta. The girl that jumped up and down after capturing a simple Metapod and that hugged one of Gale Frost’s men after they gave her a shy little Ralts.
But years of the games went on, and every year a certain number of players were needed. The world crashed down on Cornelia when her friend Sven got drafted for the Games. The boy that was a few years older than her, and had always made sure that she wouldn’t get lost somewhere on the mountain, that took the time to play with the little girl even though the other boys teased him over it. He was the winner, but Cornelia had been forced to watch his torment, the Sunnyshore boy he teamed up with that died by the hands of a girl from Eterna. She watched the boy she had grown up with turn into a monster as Sven hunted the girl to avenge his new friend. She watched him kill her before getting crowned the winner of the 47th Games.
When the boy came back, he was never the same again. He barred himself in his room, started to drink to forget. Cornelia tried to help him, but it was no use. The one day he drank himself to death, just like that. When she got picked, Cornelia had mixed feelings. Half of her wanted to go in there, and show them exactly what she could do. But the other half was afraid she would turn into a monster like Sven had. Having no time to figure it out, she was shipped off to wherever she didn’t know. Somewhere where the arena would be, where people would amuse themselves by watched her struggle and almost inevitably her death.
City Lived In: Celestic Town
Skill: Cornelia is small and quick. She is a good sprinter, has lots of stamina and is naturally thin and light. She’s good at climbing too, well if she forgets that she’s actually high up. Another great skill is knowing what she needs to survive, she’s quite good at that. This could be knowing when it really is time to stock resources to knowing that she needs to partner up with someone more physically fit than she is to survive.
Underestimation is also in her favour. She’s little, she’s girly and she’s tiny. It’s highly likely that no one will think a lot of her. But give her a dagger and it will take her a few seconds to stick it in you and then she’d run. She knows some very basic bow and arrow work, but that’s it on the weapon scale.
She’s good with convincing people too. That has to count for something.
Flaw: Anything physical is way out of her skill-set. She has no muscles, being a tiny little thing, and standing face-to-face with something that’s trying to get her, fighting is out of the question. Also, Cornelia is afraid of heights, really afraid of heights.
Her emotions could be considered a flaw, for she’s very emotional. She might hold herself up very strong, but it doesn’t take much to make her break down into a fit. She’s a sheltered child, it comes with the territory.
Pokémon Team:
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/e/e2/Spr_4p_078.png Eos - Rapidash - Female.
Eos was Cornelia’s first Pokémon, given to her when she was 6 as a little Ponyta. Her parents had given her a Ponyta so she could have someone to keep her company, while also being a fire Pokémon. Eos could keep Cornelia warm should there ever be a need to. Cornelia loves Eos like nothing else, and loves to ride the flaming horse. She’s ridden Eos ever since she was still a Ponyta, and worked a lot on her to evolve before Cornelia would be too big to ride the pony. Eos is very protective over Cornelia, who can still act like a child sometimes.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/5/51/Spr_4p_281.png Circe - Kirlia - Female
Circe was the Pokémon that she got from Gale’s people. Cornelia has spent a lot of time to make Niobe stronger, from being a weak little Ralts. Her psychic powers have increased a lot since she was originally obtained. As a Ralts, Circe could only convey feelings to Cornelia with her mind. Simple things such as fear, joy, cold or hunger were the only means of communication. Cornelia has worked very hard on getting the Ralts to get better, and with the evolution toward a Kirlia the Pokémon gained the ability to transfer pictures into Cornelia’s mind. This made Cornelia conclude that the ability of communication would evolve with the Pokémon, and ever since she’s been trying to get Circe to evolve. The two have just as good a connection as Eos and Cornelia have, and they’re a perfect combination.
http://www.pokemondb.co.uk/images/sprites/diamond-pearl/normal/butterfree-f.png Merope - Butterfree - Female
Merope, as a Metapod, was the first Pokémon to actually be caught by Cornelia, and up to now she’s the only one. Doesn’t matter that Merope was pretty much an unmoving cocoon, she was proud of herself anyway. Merope was caught when Cornelia was 8, and she has been one of her more neglected Pokémon from the time that she evolved and on, but Cinna still loves the butterfly. That is especially when she needs a quick getaway, sleep powder is a very useful tool indeed.
RP Sample: Oh really? Really?! No, that’s right, didn’t think so.

Eeveemaster9: I'm sorry, but all of the female spots have been taken =( If you would be able to be a male (if the reserved doesn't post his SU) then we'd have to see. But for now, the RP seems to be full.
Luigi-a: Your SU really makes me want to get started now ><; and especially 'cuz we're so close to starting! I like the history part with Sven ;) Since Cinna is a bit pampered, it's perfectly fine that she has two fully evolved Pokemon (and thanks for clearing with with me first). So you are accepted.
Once we have our last character, this RP will most likely start right away =) So get excited everyone XD
Regarding attacks. Really your Pokemon can know any NORMALLY LEVELED move before the games. When you get there, they will do some adjusting to your Pokemon's moves (but not without your consent)

Phew! Finally able to post this! >w>;;;
Name: Rin Mikami (Sometimes called Ren)
Gender: Male
Age: Fourteen
Appearance: He has short, shoulder length black hair, with red bangs drooping in front of his face, and dazzling silver eyes (due to a gene mutation). He’s quite slim, athletic even, stands about 5’4”, taller than his mother AND father. He is actually slightly underweight, but uses that as an advantage, because it means he’s faster than some. On his back, he has a large burn mark from when he fell into a fire at age six. His outfits of choice include slightly-baggy blue jeans and a black t-shirt, along with a grey hoodie he wears even when it’s hot out. If he gets too hot, he just ties it around his waist. Around his neck are always headphones, just cuz he loves his music.
Personality: Rin is very shy around other boys, mostly because the only ones he’s known up until now, have been mean. But around girls, he’s a very nice person. He’ll help wherever he can, and is strong-willed when determined. He’s also very driven to prove himself whenever he feels he needs to. When alone, he sits in his room and does his homework, is on the computer, or playing a videogame for a few hours until he goes outside to play around with or train his Pokémon.
History: Rin lived in Hearthome for most of his life-he’d been living in Twinleaf until he was four. And his life in Hearthome was…rough. While his parents were happy, nice, and fairly rich people, he was singled out in school for having silver eyes. It got so bad that he was sent to a small boy’s school in the outskirts of the town. There, he was picked on even worse, especially because he was openly against everything Gale said, was, and stood for, whereas everyone else was an extreme advocate of the same things. Whenever he went home every day, his only solace was his two Pokémon, a Charmander named Kaji-kun, and his Kirlia, Riri-chan. His parents did all they could to make him happy, including getting him a personal training helper, but it still wasn’t any better. Upon receiving the message of his competing in the games, his parents were stricken with grief, but Rin saw it a way to prove himself to his family and the world. So, naturally, he took the chance head-on.
City Lived In: Hearthome City
Skill: Skilled with the Katana and Naginata-in fact, he’s good with most light swords and spears. He’s also semi-strong in his arms and legs.
Flaw: Because of the fact he’s trained with light weapons all his life, he’s not very good with heavier weapons, and he also has acute Acrophobia, but crippling Arachnophobia and Triskaidekaphobia. The last one’s the fear of the number thirteen. Last year was hard for him.
Pokémon Team:
Zap-kun (Pikachu)
-The Pokémon he’d received from Gale’s goon squad. The Pikachu is even shyer than Rin is around males—almost cowardly. It’s also not terribly powerful, but will pull through in a pinch. Fun fact: It loves Pocky to the point where it glomps and nuzzles against (and subsequently accidentally electrocutes) anyone who gives it to him.
Kaji-kun (Charmander)
Rin’s first Pokémon, and his best friend. It’s flame is extremely strong for a Charmander, and it’s very headstrong and enthusiastic, sometimes charging into trouble without paying much attention until after it’s too late. It’s skin is a black color. Rin’s training teacher has said that it may not be too long before he evolves, so that’s something Rin looks forward to avidly.
Riri-chan (Kirlia)
Rin’s second Pokémon. He got it from his parents on his tenth birthday. Naming it Riri-chan, it became a great friend of his and Kaji-kun’s. Its psychic power allows it to convey its and other Pokémon’s feelings telepathically, and it reacts to how Rin is feeling on an empathic level. It, like Zap-kun, is a Pocky freak.
RP Sample: And that’s what got the boy sent to the psychiatric hospital, even though there was nothing wrong with him. He’d just been singled out of society so long that he wanted to tell everyone how he felt towards them. And yet, here he was, being singled out again. Depressing…Oh well.
He turned to the window and sighed. “So boring.” He says. After all, wouldn’t you be bored from staring at the same white walls everyday for what seems like an eternity? In any case, he lay back onto the stiff mattress he had to call a ‘bed’. Looking at the desk, he saw his nametag lying against the wall. ‘Dustin Chambers’, it read. That was his name…Dustin Chambers, Seventeen-year-old high-school withdrawal and Sociopath. “Oh well.” He said, sighing again. He turned to the remote, cased in safety glass so all he could do was press the buttons. The TV was encaged too. Six months in here and they still thought he was gonna kill himself or someone else.

Guiders:
Cornelia's Guider
Name: Alexander ‘Alex’ Huntington
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Appearance:
Alex is almost the exact opposite of Cornelia. He is tall, muscled, and his body size is slightly big because of his muscle. He looks like a haggard guy, despite the fact that he is only 31. He stands at exactly 6’0” even. A lot of people actually consider Alex to be quite frightening because of his size. He weighs about 195 pounds, making his body almost pure muscle and not an inch of fat.
Alex has green eyes that stick out almost brightly against his light tan features. He is only tan from being out in the sun and doing work in his city, not because it is his natural skin tone. In fact, his natural color would probably be a fairly pale color, because that is how most of his family members look. Alex thinks it makes them look sickly. He doesn’t like sickly. That’s probably one of the reasons why he has muscles. As for his hair, it falls in curly dark brown waves around his face. He doesn’t let it get too long though, so it looks shaggier than actually long.
Alex is the type who likes to wear nice things, but not overly nice. He has a lot of money from being a Guider, but sometimes one wouldn’t notice this unless they asked or he was at an important dinner. Generally he wears a dark buttoned up shirt. Alex will have the sleeves rolled up to his elbows as well as a couple buttons undone on his shirt (but thankfully he doesn’t really have much chest hair, so it’s not like a forest is showing) for comfort. He normally wears blue jeans without holes that fit him quite nicely. For shoes he sticks with black boots with as little lift as possible.
Personality:
Alex is a hard ass, quite frankly. He has been guiding numerous kids over the years, and two have already won the games under his guidance. Two is a high number compared to a lot of guiders who either drop out because they can’t handle it, or the others whose kids generally die. Many people think that Alex has been so successful just because of how hard he is on those kids. Some people say that his pep talks and stuff before the game can be just as bad (if not worse) as the game itself. Alright, so they aren’t super horrible, but a lot of people don’t like him.
Alex has pet peeves. He doesn’t like spoiled kids who don’t know what a day of work means. Often he will just give up on them as soon as they walk in the door, basically ensuring their death. Alex isn’t the type to just give up on someone, so that really tells you how much he dislikes those particular types of kids. However, he will attempt to at least give it his best shot before he says he’s done and just lets you go off and have luck trying not to die on your own. Not much else is known about his personality, because he mostly keeps to himself.
History:
Not much is known about Alex before the games, but he’s made quite a name out of himself in being a guider. His most famous case was the 47th game. It was also his worst, and he refuses to talk about it with people at all. You’d have to somehow warm your way into the deep pit of shell that is his heart to find out what happened, and why it caused him to close off even more from people. Other than that, everyone just sees him as an excellent trainer. No one knows what city he is from or anything of that matter.
Pokémon Team:
Alex actually participated in the 39th Pokémon Games himself, so obviously he won and was able to acquire a good team.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/8/8a/Spr_4h_248.pngTyranitar (♂)
Tyranitar was the very first Pokémon that Alex caught in the games. It was a gruesome fight (Alex used his Pidgeot), and ended up in near defeat. Alex captured the wild Pokémon, however, and Tyranitar has been forever a member of Alex’s team. He’s a powerhouse, easily angered, and has three talon marks across his right arm because of Pidgeot. Though their first battle and meeting was terrible, Tyranitar and Pidgeot are actually rather close to each other.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/5/59/Spr_4h_018.pngPidgeot (♀)
Pidgeot was Alex’s first Pokémon ever. He received it from Gale’s minions when he was just a boy himself. They grew exceedingly close and were immediately a great team. Pidgeot was Alex’s best and favorite Pokémon, and she still is. The fight with Tyranitar left her unable to fly though, so she dreams of the sky often. Her left wing is slightly smaller than the right because of the surgery that was required just to repair what the doctors could. It was unable to work again because Alex still had to carry on in the games without help for another 72 hours before Pidgeot could get assistance.
Machamp (♀)
Machamp was acquired as a Machop and brought into the games when Alex first registered. Machamp used to be very cocky, but after experiencing the games she calmed down and is more serious now. She doesn’t get along much with any of Alex’s team except for Lucario, and this is probably because of his fighting status. She dislikes Gallade, though Alex is unsure why.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/8/8d/Spr_4h_197.pngUmbreon (♂)
Alex got Umbreon as an Eevee. He found the little Eevee wandering around in the arena, completely lost and cold looking. Later Alex found out it had belonged to one of his fellow competitors, before said competitor had died. Eevee was then released and left to fend for himself, which he was obviously not used to. Now Eevee is ruthless, and almost shows Alex’s dark side. It’s fitting that Eevee evolved into Umbreon.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/0/02/Spr_4p_475.pngGallade (♂)
Alex got Gallade after the games as a sort of ‘prize’. It was a simple Kirlia then, but Alex just decided to keep the Pokémon with him. It evolved into Gallade after some of Alex’s training sessions, and is often very helpful when it comes to talking to Alex’s students in the games. So don’t be surprised if Gallade decides to pop in and say hello. He’s actually fairly friendly compared to the other Pokémon on Alex’s team. This could be why Machamp doesn’t like him too well.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/8/80/Spr_4p_448.pngLucario (♂)
Lucario has multiple personalities. In battle, he is fierce and ready to kick some serious butt. Outside of battle he’s actually a fairly caring Pokémon. Around Machamp, he’s more serious though. He doesn’t really have many friends on the team (Umbreon is too scary, Tyranitar is a loner unless you’re Pidgeot, and Pidgeot doesn’t like to talk to him) so he tends to try to keep Machamp as a friend. Really Lucario’s the closest to Gallade, just because Gallade is nice.
Lilith's Guider
Name: Emilia ‘Emily’ Rose
Gender: Female
Age: 39
Appearance:
Emilia is getting up there, but she’s still in the prime of her life. She has bright blue eyes that often sparkle with mischief. She’s about 5’7” and average weight. She used to be slim when she was younger, but with age she’s gotten a bit rounder. Her skin is pale because she often rarely gets a tan now (she thinks it’s bad for your skin to be out in the sun too long). Her hair is often times kept in a bun. This may make Emilia look strict, but she only likes it because her hair is much too long otherwise and would get in her way. She doesn’t like it when her honey-blonde hair gets in her way, no matter how much she values her lovely hair.
Emilia often wears clothes that she finds comfortable. She could care less how nice or not she looks. She’ll wear sweats if she’s cold, a tank top if she’s warm. Really her clothing varies, so it’s unsure what she’ll wear next. She just isn’t very predictable like that. She has her ears pierced, but thinks it’s too much trouble to actually put in earrings unless it’s a special occasion. She does wear a necklace on a silver chain. It has a blue teardrop at the end, and symbolizes something. Virtually no one knows exactly what this teardrop symbolizes, however. As for her feet, that (like almost all of her other attire) truthfully depends on the occasion and how she feels at that particular moment.
Personality:
Emilia can be very unpredictable. One moment she can be like a mother. She can be nice and caring, worried for you in battle. In the next she’ll be yelling in your ear for something stupid you did. See? Very mother-like. She also doesn’t really like boys much, because she (as she will continuously remind you) thinks they are just too cocky for their own good. She will always request girls to mentor, and will throw a form of a hissy fit if she gets a boy. Sexist much? Possibly. This doesn’t mean she isn’t nice to boys, she just makes comments about them (usually snide ones) behind their backs.
She is close to a tomboy, but knows when to be a girly girl. She’ll enthuse about makeup, jewelry, etc…but she can also kick ass. She has lived a hard life, and knows what can happen to people in the games. She makes jokes, but will chide you if you make them with her at the wrong time. So yes, you could think of her as a mother. Just keep in mind that she does know what she’s doing, no matter what crazy scheme she thinks of next. It may seem crazy, but it could be genuinely useful.
History:
As with Alex and most of the other Guiders, not much is known about Emilia. She was never actually in the games herself, but was proven worthy in her home town. That’s how she acquired Guider status, and from then on she has obviously been safe from being entered in the games. Most people have never seen Gale, but she is one of the few people who have. It wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience.
Pokémon Team:
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/0/06/Spr_4h_162.pngFurret (♀)
Furret is the Pokémon that Emilia received from Gale when she was just a little girl. This Pokémon has a rather curious and excitable personality, so she’s almost the perfect match for Emilia. They make a hilarious as well as great team. Since they’ve been together for so long, they’re exceedingly close and share an exceptionally strong bond. Furret is also fairly playful, and gets along great with Raichu.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/f/f8/Spr_4h_003_m.pngVenusaur (♀)
Venusaur is just a giant powerhouse. She received him as a gift for obtaining her Guider status, and soon realized that he was one of the Pokémon that resided in one of the arenas. Venusaur is tough and won’t back down from a fight. She’s quite serious, and doesn’t take battles lightly…at all. Just don’t piss her off and you’ll probably be fine. Piss her off and you might wanna run, ‘cuz this girl means business.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/b3/Spr_4h_195_m.pngQuagsire (♂)
Ah, Quagsire. He’s often called Quaggers by Emilia, just ‘cuz it bugs the Pokémon. Quagsire was very playful when he was younger, but as soon as he evolved he just…didn’t really care. Emilia has been trying to bring out his playful side, which is why she refers to him by the nickname. Emilia has a feeling that Quagsire’s seriousness and uncaring attitude is because of the few students the Pokémon has seen destroyed in the Pokémon Games. Darn those games, they just ruin everything. Quagsire isn’t really close to any of the Pokémon on Emilia’s team.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/4/4d/Spr_4h_026_m.pngRaichu (♂)
Raichu is almost as happy-go-lucky as Furret, but not quite all the way there. Though Raichu is perky and playful, it does have a serious side. This side is only visible in battles or tough situations. Raichu has a scar on his tail from a brief fight with one of Gale Frost’s Pokémon—and he’s lucky that’s the only mark he got. That could be one of the reasons he’s just a bit more serious than Furret.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/9/91/Spr_4h_031.pngNidoqueen (♀)
Nidoqueen is a very strong Pokémon. She was found by Emilia in a cave close to Emilia’s (still unknown) hometown. She’s fairly close to Furret because, like Furret, she was one of Emilia’s first Pokémon. Nidoqueen is like the mother of the group. This makes her very similar to Emilia. Nidoqueen is also a very protective Pokémon, and won’t stand for one of her teammates getting harmed to a large point.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/a/a8/Spr_4p_359.pngAbsol (♂)
Absol is the type that keeps to himself. He prefers not to get close to any of Emilia’s other Pokémon, and also refuses to get close to the numerous kids that Emilia meets. Absol is actually fairly sensitive to people dying, which is why he pushes them all away. He often can tell when Emilia’s student has died. Absol is just unlucky like that, with all his suckish bad feelings.
Natalie's Guider
Name: Eric Talbert
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Appearance:
Eric is slight, especially for a guy. He stands at about 5’8” but doesn’t really think he’s short. Mostly he just looks slight because of his frame. He’s fairly thin and has little muscle. When he was younger, he was the perfect definition of an athlete. Once he had to enter the games himself (and won them) he slowly began to stop eating as much and didn’t work out like he used to. This caused his body mass to go down, so basically he’s a hollow shell of his former self (in body). So, as you may have guessed, his features look a bit like he’s sickly. Alex doesn’t like him much.
Eric’s eyes are a light brown. They look sunken in, which makes him look even unhealthier than he really is. His skin has a sort of olive tone, but even that looks unhealthy. His hair is dark brown, but Eric often keeps it cut short (not quite a buzz, but it isn’t exactly shaggy either) so one might think it was black. It’s the only part of him that looks actually fairly healthy.
For clothes, Eric wears mostly baggy things. He tends to do this so it will look like he has more of a body than he really does, but what he doesn’t realize is that this backfires. Truthfully it simply looks like he’s swimming in his oversized clothes no matter what. Generally he’ll wear just a simple T-shirt and a pair of comfortable pants. They range from jeans to sweatpants, depending on the occasion and time of day. For shoes he generally wears a simple pair of white tennis shoes.
Personality:
Eric has always been shy, that feature has never changed. In fact because of the games, it seems like he’s grown even quieter. Though he is shy, Eric is actually a pretty swift thinker and a good Guider to have. He can figure out (and get someone out of) many different situations, which is how he won the Pokémon Games himself. So obviously he’s got brains, but sometimes it might take the student a bit to coax him out of the little shell of a barrier he’s stuffed himself in.
Even though he’s shy, if you’re really close to Eric he can be a pretty awesome guy. Despite how sickly he first looks, Eric is actually still a bit athletic. He tries to make sure people have fun around him, and don’t just think he’s going to bore them to death by stuttering out of shyness. He isn’t very mysterious or anything, so truthfully Eric doesn’t really get women that often. It doesn’t bug him though. He sometimes thinks he’d be too shy to talk to them anyway.
History:
Eric’s past is even less known than Alex’s. Being so shy, he has never told anyone virtually anything about his background, even in the interview’s he’s had with certain newscasters. This shows you just how much Eric keeps to himself. The only main detail about his past that is known is that he participated in the 41st Pokémon Games, and was somehow able to survive because of a girl he grew attached to. In the end, he was forced to kill her.
Pokémon Team:
Eric is actually sort of fearful of Pokémon, so he refused his Pokémon prize for winning the game and for becoming a Guider. This leaves him with only three.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/7/7d/143.pngSnorlax (♂)
Snorlax, despite how giant the Pokémon is, is so gentle that he doesn’t frighten Eric in the least. He was one of the rarest Pokémon ever to be handed out, and many of the other kids were jealous that a shy pipsqueak like Eric received such a rare Pokémon. Snorlax and Eric have grown very close, and Eric feels that they share somewhat an unbreakable bond. It seems like being in the Pokémon Games will do that to you.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/b9/196.pngEspeon (♀)
Espeon is a quiet Pokémon, and has actually grown to be just as shy as Eric. She dislikes people a lot, simply because she can. It’s just a trait she has grown up with, and a trait that has never left her. Some may refer to it as a flaw that she’s so shy and quiet, but Eric likes that about his Pokémon.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/a/a0/Spr_4d_376.pngMetagross (♂)
Metagross is really the only “scary” Pokémon on Eric’s team. Eric was barely able to capture him in the games, and only did so because the Pokémon would have destroyed him otherwise. He uses Metagross very rarely, because the Pokémon is still fairly violent (it hasn’t grown to trust people) and dislikes people for reasons that could be potentially harmful.
Kenny's Guider
Name: Tyson ‘Ty’ Garrison
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance:
Tyson looks a lot older than he first appears, just because of the numerous things he’s seen in his life. His skin is tan and currently it’s darker than normal because he enjoys spending time out in the sun when he can. His eyes are a chocolate brown color and about ninety percent of the time his eyes look hollow and haunted. Tyson’s build is thin and wiry. He stands at an almost overly tall 6’5” and only weighs about 165 pounds. Some of that weight is muscle, but not all of it. As far as his hair goes, Tyson has (oddly enough) bleached blonde hair that sticks out against his skin. His hair is often in carefully messed up spikes, making it look both long and short.
For attire, Tyson usually wears a simple pair of shorts that fall to about his knees. They vary in type. Some are cut-off jeans while others are khaki. As for shirts, Tyson tends to go with something that is almost like under armour. It’s a comfortable looking material that he loves to wear, and thinks it fits his form rather nicely. For shoes, he wears something that might be a little odd, but he’s loved them forever. He wears black Converse high tops. They’re his favorite brand of shoe, so no dissing them.
Personality:
Tyson is serious. Sometimes he’ll crack a joke, but all around he’s a serious guy. He especially takes the Pokémon Games very seriously, so no cracking a joke about them around him. He’s like Alex in a way, but without the look that he could flat out kick your butt. Sure, he looks super tall, but what’s height without muscle, right? Well, that’s where he’d always say you’re wrong. To him, you don’t have to be super buff to win the Pokémon games, and you don’t have to have a physical advantage. He’s willing to accept any and all students he has. He isn’t biased in the least on people.
Tyson is also the type that looks like he’ll be forever haunted. He’s seen many people die right in front of him, so he often has this particular aura about him that tends to ward people off. He isn’t a huge loner, but being alone isn’t something that would make Tyson depressed or anything. So one could call Tyson a loner, but truthfully that wouldn’t be a surely accurate description of his character type.
History:
Tyson is a bit better known than any of his other Guider acquaintances. He has been on countless interviews, especially after he got accepted as a Guider. Many thought he would be executed for the rebellion he tried to lead against Gale, but Gale allowed him in with open arms. This puzzled many, and this is the main thing people know about Tyson. Seeing as this is what they know, really it’s all they care about. Not many people try to dig back into his past to figure it out.
Pokémon Team:
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/5/50/326.pngGrumpig (♀)
Grumpig is a Pokémon that Tyson happened upon while on a train ride. He realized that the Pokémon was abandoned, so just adopted it. Grumpig is a rather easily excitable Pokémon. Tyson isn’t sure why Grumpig is so happy all of the time, but the Pokémon just seems to be that way. He finds it amusing on occasions that he needs to be cheered up. Grumpig’s good at making people feel better.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/1/10/Spr_4h_208_m.pngSteelix (♂)
Steelix was Tyson’s very first Pokémon. He obtained it from Gale’s minions, and soon bonded with the great beast when it was an Onix. Onix evolved through a brief trade with Tyson’s brother into the Steelix that it currently is. Steelix is powerful and serious, but does lighten up a bit when around his teammates and trainer. Around other people, the pure mask of serious-ness is up.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/a/a6/Spr_4d_373.pngSalamence (♂)
Salamence is a fierce fighter and won’t back down. He was obtained when Tyson reached Guider status. Gale holds Tyson in high regard for some reason, seeing as obtaining a dragon Pokémon is a feat from Gale himself. Salamence is slightly vicious, but is easy to control and knows when to cut off the tough act. It will do anything Tyson says without hesitation.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/bb/171.pngLanturn (♀)
Lanturn is like the clown of the group. It’s the Pokémon that is always having fun and goofing off, no matter how much it annoys the others. Lanturn was obtained from a nice bout of fishing. Tyson isn’t a fisher, but the little Chinchou (and capturing it) was fairly amusing.
Rin's Guider
Name: Lacy Norris
Gender: Female
Age: 30
Appearance:
Lacy is tall, thin, and an athletic psycho. She likes sports, and it’s obvious. She stands only at 5’6” but that doesn’t matter to her. She has a thin body that is built with muscle. Someone could tell that she likes sports right away. Her skin is a very nice and healthy dark brown shade. It isn’t that way from the sun, it’s her natural color and she loves it. Her eyes are dark brown, almost a bare shade darker than black. Her hair is often in a tight braid down her back. It’s deep brown as well, and goes to about the middle of her back.
For clothes, she is often seen in a pair of jogging shorts and a tank top or a T-shirt. She doesn’t go for super bright colors, but she doesn’t mind a nice teal or orange color here and there. She wears a pair of simple tennis shoes on her feet at all times, and often keeps them in top condition. You know, just in case she has to suddenly break out in some uberly tough sport.
Personality:
Lacy has a quick personality. She’s not afraid to lash you with her tongue, because that’s just how she is. She dislikes it when people tell her she’s wrong. She also dislikes being ridiculed because of childhood issues. She hates bullies and people who are exceedingly cocky. Most of the time she prefers to have the underdog in the Pokémon Games, and only once has that actually worked out for her. She will stick up for what she believes in and she’s obviously not the type of person to back down. Winning a fight with her can be near impossible (both physically and mentally) so many people don’t try.
Though she has many things in her personality that might make people back away from her, she’s also truly a nice person. She’s an excellent friend and would stick up for hers no matter what. To her, it doesn’t matter what will happen. She’d tough it out. She likes people like that, and dislikes people who are just going to throw in the towel right away without even trying to prove a point.
History:
Lacy is basically unknown in everything, except for the fact that she grew up in Kanto. She simply came to Sinnoh when she was 18 for the sole purpose of destroying Gale herself. Well, look where she is now. She became a Guider after being another of the few who got to personally meet him. Her spirit wasn’t crushed or anything, but it was obvious that fighting Gale was something she decided against. Why, it is not known. Many people wonder this, but no one can seem to gather the answer.
Pokémon Team:
She really doesn’t like having a lot of Pokémon, because she thinks this distracts her from their full potential.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/5/5a/Spr_4h_169.pngCrobat (♀)
Crobat was a Pokémon that she obtained in her home region of Kanto and has been with her all these years. Crobat and Lacy are exceedingly close, and they share a very strong bond. Crobat is often happy-go-lucky and enjoys flying about for fun. Flying is something that Crobat loves to do, and finds it amusing that no one (no one, got it?) can take that away from her.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/1/1e/424.pngAmbipom (♀)
Ambipom is a big joker and prankster. She enjoys messing with Forretress the most, mostly because Forretress doesn’t find it amusing. Lacy obtained Ambipom as soon as she arrived in Sinnoh from a woman who was dying. Though her original trainer died, Ambipom still grew up to be a great Pokémon.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/f/f7/205.pngForretress (♂)
Forretress is like the serious Pokémon of the team. It doesn’t think joking around is a good idea, especially with how Sinnoh is. Lacy got Forretress from Gale when she gained status of Guider. Forretress acts like he dislikes Ambipom a lot, but really he doesn’t mind the little monkey too much.
Sahib's Guider
Name: Leah Hillock
Gender: Female
Age: 51
Appearance:
Leah, being 51, is starting to look a bit older. She has a few more wrinkles here and there (alright, a lot more wrinkles) and her hair is slowly starting to turn grey. She stands at about 5’6” and has a slight hunch in her back from not sitting up properly and such all those years. She doesn’t really look like much at all. Her form is on the plump side, and her voice is so high and squeal-ish that it could knock someone dead if you talked to her for too long. Her skin is pale and her eyes are sunken in. They are a storm blue color. Her brown hair is slowly growing a bit more pronounced as a grey color.
For clothes, Leah just wears whatever she finds. She doesn’t really have much of a fashion sense, and therefore doesn’t really care to think much about what people will think about her attire. Hell, she would wear sweats all day if she didn’t think it would bother people at dinners. For shoes, she mostly just wears a pair of tennis shoes. She has a pair of leaf earrings that she wears every day, no matter what. They say it’s because of her Pokémon, but some people do tend to wonder.
Personality:
Leah is a strict person. If she tells you to do something, you have to do it. If you have a question, she’ll snap the answer. She also really dislikes people of other races. She grumbles about them all the time, and refuses to take them on as students. This causes many people to, in turn, dislike her. She doesn’t mind that though. Truthfully Leah is more of a loner than she may first appear to be. She isn’t someone that a lot of people would first bother to notice majorly anyway, and she doesn’t try to gain attention. In all actuality, Leah acts a lot older than she truthfully is. Many people don’t understand that, but that’s just her.
History:
Leah’s history is about as dead as a doornail. No one knows where she came from, but they do know she was born before Gale took over. Even if it was only a year, that itself is a feat. Many people who live inside Gale’s condition over fifty years of age are considered lucky, and those who have seen life before Gale’s reign are even luckier. No one dares to ask her about it, however, because of how annoyingly mean and annoying she can be.
Pokémon Team:
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/8/83/131.pngLapras (♀)
Lapras is basically the opposite of Leah. She’s a genuinely nice Pokémon that sometimes dislikes the choices and things her trainer makes and does. For one, Lapras doesn’t like how scornful Leah acts towards certain people. Lapras doesn’t see why humans always act so resentful towards each other, but she knows she really can’t do anything about it so she doesn’t try. Lapras was obtained through some accident that no one knows about. Ah, good ol’ Leah and her mysteries.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/4/40/Spr_4h_154_m.pngMeganium (♂)
Meganium was the very first Pokémon that Leah received. She got Meganium from Gale’s minions, and the Pokémon has been with her ever since. Meganium can be both serious and comical at the same time. It really depends on his mood. Often times he’s more serious around Leah, but that’s only because she very rarely lets his happy personality shine through.
http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/be/122.pngMr. Mime (♂)
Mr. Mime is actually something that Leah would prefer to not have on her team. She dislikes the joking Pokémon, and often scolds it just because she can. Mr. Mime thinks nothing of it, however, and just goes on being happy. Unlike Meganium, Mr. Mime isn’t so afraid of Leah and how she acts. Mr. Mime was obtained as an egg when Leah was about sixteen.
Chapter 1: Phase 1
This is it. You were chosen yesterday by Gale Frost himself to participate in the annual Pokémon Games. Very few of you may be excited, while others are simply horrified. Even if you are strong, there is no happy medium. It’s either terror or excitement. Some of you may not have been able to sleep the previous night, which causes you to fret that you will be off to a bad start in two days’ time when you have to actually participate. Others got fully rested and feel that you might actually have a shot at this. Today will be a very important day. It’s the day you will travel to your arena, the day you meet your…comrades, and the day your trial basically begins.
You wake up and immediately what family/friends you have say goodbye after you have packed and are ready to leave. At exactly eight in the morning, a train will depart with you on it. You will meet your Guiders that day on the train. Depending on how long your train ride is (if very long, put in random things like eating a meal, getting to know your guide, etc…no other competitors will be on your train, so you will not meet them) you may or may not have a lot to do in either a short or not-so-short amount of time.
Things You Must Discuss With Your “Guider”:
-Pokémon Team
-Special Skills
-Important information you think they should know
-Your Schedule For the Next Day (just have your Guider briefly go over it and say "this is what you're doing" but refuse to answer further questions).
Next Day’s Schedule (you will only be discussing this, not actually doing it):
-Get properly dressed
-Get Pokémon moves “perfected”
-Meet the other competitors
-Rest and relax
End with your train stopping near the Snowpoint City Arena. You will either be hopeful (because you realize your team is the proper one for this) or your spirits will be crushed even further. Good luck on Phase One. I will not be telling you what your guides tell you, because it will be different for each. Remember to keep them IC (in character) or if you want them to be a bit OOC then discuss it with me.

CHAPTER 1- Phase one
As always, Natalie was awakened by the gentle sunlight shining into her spacy bedroom through the canopies of the oaks outside. She laid in her bed for a few minutes, enjoyng the complete silence of the larg house. Well, complete silence wasn't actually true. She could hear murmurs from below. Her parents were talking quietly with each other in the kitchen. "Why would they do that?", she wondered. Usually they liked to get themselves some good rest in the weekends. Then she saw the large, stuffed backpack in corner and rmembered. Of course. The Pokémon Games. She, Tale Fuwani, had been handpicked to take part in the Pokémon Games. Fleeting memories from last night drifted through her head. Her mother crying, huddled in the arms of her ashen-faced father. Gale Frost's smirking messenger. The letter. She had been sent to her room to pack, and she had stayed there for the rest of the evening, sitting with her Pokémon in silence, listening to the wails of her mother and the hushed voice of her father. She had felt a bit sad, but she was also quite excited. This, this was truly something ne. Of course, it was a serious thing, but she was sure it would be fun. Her parents had never let her watch the games, but Tale had heard that a lot of people died during the competition. However, Natalie was quite sure she woul'dnt be one of them.
Glancing at her wrist watch she was a bit startled when she saw what time it was. Her train would leave in half and hour. Better get up. She quickly dressed in a newly pressed shirts and a clean, purple trouser, before donning her favourite purple jacket and adding the black bow ie she loved so much. Staring at herself in the mirror, she thought for moment that she probably should comb her her, but she decided not to do so. After all, first impressions were important.
Scooping up three Pokéballs on the way, Natalie skipped down the stairs, whistling on a tune she'd heard in the radio a week ago. She found her parents waiting for her, blocking the front door. Her mother was crying softly, her eyes red. Her father was unusually somber. No playful smile danced orund his lips, no twinkling in his eyes suggested the flamboyant personality of a magician. He simply stared at her with a look she had never seen before. Tale patted them gently. "So-so, mummy and daddy. I'll come back, after all! I'm going to win these games! You're rooting for me, right?" her parents gave her a long crushing, hug. "Don't forget we love you, Tale" her mother said. "Believe in yourself, and we know you can do anything". her father added in a whisper. Tale smiled to them, hugged them once more, before donning gloves and hat and stepping out in the sunlight. Taking a final glance at her beloved hom, she sug up one of the Pokéballs. "OK, Drifblim! Let's play!" she said and threw it. Her Drifblim appeared in a flash, as healthy and happy as ever. Tale climbed aboard him, and said "To the train station, old chum!" We have to make it!" With a soft, approving noise, the Blimp Pokémon rose into the sunny sky.
After a nice flight over Eterna, Drifblim landed gently in front of the train station. Natalie gave it a hug and recalled it, before playfully bouncing to the platform where the train for Snowpoint City was waiting. Almost immediately she noticed a slightly built man holding a sign reading "Natalie Fuwani". That had to be her very own, special guide! Bursting with excitement, she strolled overto him, swiped her hat off in a deep bow, and said: "Hi! I'm Natalie Fuwani! You can call me Tale if you want! You're my guider, right?". The man seemed a bit taken aback by her odd appearance, but then he smiled faintly and replied. "Yes, I am. It's nice to meet you, Tale. My name is Eric Talbert". Tale smiled at the man for a long while. He looked kind of nice. "You want to see something wicked?", she suddenly asked. Eric looked at her in confusion as she took of her hat and showed it to him. "It is empty, as you can see!" she said. "But by a mysterious incantation I can pull out all of my Pokéballs from it!" She made some flamboyant gestures over the hat, murmuring incoherent words, before pulling out one, two, three Pokéballs, seemingly from nowhere. Tale grinned at the man again, re-donning the hat and pocketing the Pokéballs. "Neat, huh?" she asked. "I learned it from my dad! He's the Amazing Waldemar, you know!" Eric stared at her for what seemed like an eternity. Natalie jumped up and down, ewaiting for a response. Finally he smiled, a bit more heartedly this time. "I believe we should get on the train, Tale" he said. "It will be leaving soon."
Two hours later they were thundering through the tunnels Galøe Frost had built through Mount Coronet. tale had taked to the guide about everything she could think of, from her favourite tree in the Eterna Forest to how she had accidentallyswapped her mothers nicest shoes with a pair of loafers. Eric had mostly listened to her in silence, occasionally nodding or making small noises. As Tale ravenously ate her packed lunch, he suddenly spoke. "May I see your Pokémon, Tale?" he asked. Tale was overjoyed. "Of course you can!" she squealed, doing an impromptu dance as she pulled out the Pokéballs again, this time from her sleeve. "This is my Murkrow" she said, making the black bird make a little show for the guider. "He's a solid flier, snd is pretty strong. He knows Wing Attack and Night Shade for close and ranged combat, and he can flap up some Haze if we should need cover. This-" she continued as she sent out Roselia, "is my dear Roselia. It specialixed in taking energy from other things, utilizing Leech Seed and Mega drain. It also uses Stun Spore and Sleep Powder to keep enemies at bay".
Tale's smile grew larger as she tosedd her final Pokéball. "This is my beloved Drifblim!", she cried. "He can use Stockpile to gain power and bounce back enemy attacks, he can Fly me around, he can use Ominous Wind to Clear away obstacles, and he can Swallow to keep himself in good health!" Tale fell to her knees and spread out her arms in a strange pose, her Pokémon following. "What do you think of themm, Eric? They aren't half bad, are they?". Eric shook his head. "Not at all," he said. "I find them to be quite interesting. They seem to have some skills your oppontents may be surprised by. I will, however, make a few adjustments on them". Eyeing Tle's stunned expression, he quickly added "That's for tomorrow, though. While we are talking about special skills, do you have anything that can help you in the wilderness?" Tale pondered over this for a while, then she said with a smile "No. But I'm sure I'll think of something if things get tough". Eric seemed to shrink wearily in his seat, and he said no more for a long while.
The hour grew late. The train streaked out of Mount Coronet, out onto the snowy plains of North Sinnoh. Tale tried to amuse Eric with some card tricks, and he seemed a bit interesting. Suddenly Tale remembered a question she had been meaning to ask. "What will we do tomorrow?", she said to Eric. He looked her. "A lot of things", he said shyly. "We have to get you properly dressed- "
"Ooh!" Tale sai, excited. "Mum's made a stuffed top hat with earflaps for me! It is a good as any fur hat! I also have a purple arctic jacket! I love purple, you know! The combination of fiery red and calm blue is wonderful!". Eric chuckled before continuing. "Very nice, Tale. I'll make my addition to your Pokémon. You will get to meet the other competitors- your rivals. Then you will spend the rest of the day relaxing, preparing yourself for the ordeals to come". he sighed. "It's just unimaginably cruel that children like you are pushed into life-and-death competition. I'll try to help you a good as I can, but I cannot guarantee for your life". He buried his face in his hands. Tale reached out and stroke him tenderlyon the head. "It can't be all that bad, right? I'm sure I can handle all problems thrown at me and in this thing!"
At that moment, a raspy voice called oyt from the speakers. "Srrivong at Snowpiont City in ten minutes. Pleas prepare to leave train."

Vorteld: Nice post =) Looks good to me. Only thing is that her parents shouldn't have really known she was going to a snow field, but I can't really say for sure that's why they gave her the gear or not. So no worries, it was really good and a great length.
-----
Sahib stared at the small fire that was lit in his living room. A cup of coffee was in his hands, and his eyes looked dull and listless. Just the day before he had been picked to participate in the annual Pokémon Games and he didn’t know how exactly to feel. Truthfully his mind had completely shut down, leaving him almost empty. He kept thinking of his brother and how he watched him die on television. How everyone had seen him die on television. And how everyone will see me die on television, he thought as he took a small sip. Sahib wondered how much more his parents could take. First his brother, and now him. He was off to die just like his brother had, and there was nothing that anyone could do about it. Sahib closed his eyes, but he still saw the image. His eyes opened, and they were full of pain now. Charmeleon’s head was on his leg, and it was only in that moment did Sahib register it. He looked at his Pokémon with a small smile on his face.
“Well, I really don’t want you to go out there,” Sahib began softly, “and then wind up some other trainer’s Pokémon.” Charmeleon didn’t reply, and simply stared off into the distance. “Yeah,” Sahib agreed, “this does suck.” Charmeleon huffed, and the flame on his tail flickered. “I don’t think either way that Magikarp will be of much help, will she?”
“Char,” Charmeleon said in a deep voice. That was obviously a no. Sahib leaned back away from Charmeleon and set his coffee cup on the table beside the chair he was sitting in. Charmeleon hopped up on his lap and curled up as much as he could manage. “Char, Charmeleon,” Charmeleon grumbled. Sahib stared at his flaming tail.
Before they knew it, the sun was slowly beginning to rise over the Sunyshore horizon. Sahib yawned, picked up Charmeleon, and got up from the chair rather stiffly. Charmeleon stirred awake and slipped from Sahib’s arms to stand beside him. Sahib walked over to the window and looked at the rising sun. With that sun came his certain death. With that sun came lies, deceit, and everything else that some horrible person could think of. Sahib grumbled to himself, ran a hand through his hair, and then decided that if he was going to meet his death, he would meet it without fear. So that meant that he was going to shower and get ready like any other day. Yup, Sahib thought as he walked silently to his room, any other day.
Sahib seemed to dull and lifeless, but that was really how he expressed being scared. He wasn’t sure how to react, so his body did this thing where it just decided to cut off his senses. He stared at himself in the mirror and shook his head. Soon this will be a thing of the past, he realized slowly. Sahib then went about getting dressed at an average pace, occasionally glancing at the clock as he did so. It was nearing seven thirty—he would have to leave in roughly half an hour. When he was finished packing the few things he deemed fit (besides clothes and necessities) to take, Sahib walked out of his room and down the hallway only to find his parents and little sister sitting at the table. His sister was eating her breakfast, trying not to cry. His father was at the sink, wiping out the same glass over and over. His mother was eating silently, her calm reserve somehow still up.
Though he wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it, Sahib sat down like he normally would. He was to the left of his sister, and to the right of his mother. Sahib looked at the food in front of him and his stomach churned, but when his sister sniffled he felt even worse. He glared at his food angrily and slowly began to eat, wanting to beat the **** out of that Gale guy. He thought for a moment, trying to suddenly remember everything he used to do as a kid that would make his sister laugh. He put a bit of egg on his spoon and then proceeded to launch it at her face. She paused, blinked, and looked at him. There was a wide eyed look of surprise on her face. Sahib smirked at her.
“Sahib!” she whined in annoyance. She attempted to kick him under the table, but he moved his leg. “You poopy face!” she whined. She was thirteen, but found it amusing to call people certain interesting names.
“What?” he retorted, quickly flicking another piece at her. She grinned and flicked it back. By this time, their parents were watching the food fight silently, not really bothering to take away the little enjoyment they had. It was actually a pretty amusing sight, watching two teenagers fling food at each other like they were five.
Soon it stopped when Sahib reached what he was aiming for. His sister was laughing, all trace of the tears gone from her eyes. He smiled slightly, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. She didn’t notice though, and grinned widely at him. They weren’t like a lot of siblings. They didn’t fight, they got along very well. Soon there was a knock on the door, making everyone stop and look over. Sahib stared at the door, his smile completely gone. This is just what they did when they rounded up his eldest brother. Sahib went to stand, but his father answered the door. Two men where there.
“Bihar,” one said in a gruff voice.
Sahib’s father stepped aside. Sahib stood up and grabbed the backpack that was on his couch. They stared at him silently. Sahib hugged his family and paused at his sister. He ruffled her already bed-rumpled hair. “Don’t do something stupid,” he reminded her, “I know you have mom’s common sense.” He shot a glance at his mother, who rolled her eyes. “And don’t cry, it’s bad for your health,” he said.
“Nuh uh,” she retorted.
“Sure it is,” Sahib declared.
“Time to go, boy,” the next guard said in a less rough manner. “The train will leave in ten minutes.”
The next thing Sahib knew, he was watching the city fly by on the train. He didn’t have a true need to feel like he had to talk to anyone, so he stayed silent when people came in to ask if he wanted any food or anything. He shook his head wordlessly every time. He liked being stoic. It made him feel good. He truthfully wanted more than anything to be back at home with his sister and parents, but he knew that he’d probably never see them again. Thinking of never seeing them again made a lump form in his throat, but he pushed that aside. Charmeleon and Alakazam were sitting next to him, while Magikarp remained in her Pokeball. Sahib thought about sending one of those guys to get her a fish tank, but then decided it would break his little silent act so he didn’t.
Soon there was a loud screeching noise and a couple of loud shouts. Then a lady was ushered into the room. She looked rather old and was furiously talking to the man behind her. He said something curtly and then left. Sahib stared at the woman. She glanced over her shoulder and then sighed heavily. Then she fully turned around and walked over towards Sahib and his Pokémon. Her eyes were narrowed. Sahib felt his Pokémon tense. He stayed still and simply watched her.
“My name is Leah,” she declared, not even bothering to provide a last name. “I’m your Guider,” she snapped. Her voice was fairly high pitched and it made Sahib wince. “And I don’t take any nonsense, boy.”
Sahib stared at her, and this seemed to aggravate her. Sahib silently thought this was amusing, but then realized that he probably should get off on the good foot of his Guider and not the bad one. He sighed and introduced himself. She sat down opposite of him and simply stared at him. Sahib met her icy gaze with his own. He didn’t like this lady for some reason. No, Sahib could put his finger on it, but he just didn’t like her. She finally leaned back, crossed her arms, and then barked for him to introduce his Pokémon to her.
“Charmeleon,” he said, pointing towards Charmeleon. Charmeleon nodded slightly. “Alakazam,” Sahib said, doing the same thing again. Alakazam muttered his name. “And I have a Magikarp, but she’s in her Pokeball,” Sahib explained. He held up the round orb between his index finger and thumb.
Leah stared at him for a few moments, and then she began to laugh. Sahib rolled his eyes and waited for her to finish. She giggled a couple more times. “A Magikarp? Do you honestly expect to win the Pokémon games with a Magikarp? Your team is pathetic!” she screeched. “How am I supposed to work with you?” It was a rhetorical question, so Sahib simply sat there and chose not to even bother to reply. “And what’s your special skill? Can you go fishing well?” Leah started laughing again. Sahib glared at her and his fist clenched slightly.
“I could probably beat you in a game of chess in less than a minute,” he said through half clenched teeth, “and I’m not too bad with physical stuff. I’m not sure how to use any form of weapon though.” The last sentence was full of a slight bit of shame. Leah shook her head, and Sahib looked away. He immediately liked her even less, and then decided not to tell her anything else unless she asked. What was the point? To be ridiculed? Sahib didn’t think so.
“Well, we’ll just have to work on that. What moves do your Pokémon know?”
Sahib stayed silent. He wasn’t even sure. It wasn’t like he used them in battles—they just grew because they helped do the work that he did. “I’m not…” Sahib trailed off.
“Of course you don’t know, do you? I didn’t think so,” she snapped. “Fine. All of you mindless Asians—"
Sahib stood up suddenly and grabbed the front of her shirt. “Why don’t you watch what you say, you old hag,” he snarled in her face. Charmeleon and Alakazam stood next to him, ready to help. She smirked slowly.
“Tomorrow you’ll be properly dressed, your Pokémon’s moves will be worked out, and you’ll have a fun meeting day,” she said slowly. “Now release me, Mr. Bihar.” Sahib slowly let her go, a fierce look in his normally passive and calm gaze. Racist people pissed him off. “We will be there in about an hour,” she declared and then left. Sahib sank down in his hair, let out a majorly loud sigh, and smacked his head on said chair.
Since he had an hour left (and it was already nearing four in the evening) Sahib decided the next person that came in he would ask for dinner. It had seemed like forever since he had left home, but in reality it had taken them an extra hour to do something to the train. That being said, it had still taken forever. His stomach was beginning to growl, and he could tell that his Pokémon were getting just as hungry as he was. Sahib stared out the window once more, and found that they were whizzing in a darkened place. Mt. Coronet, I guess, Sahib thought as he watched the occasional water source fly by. Soon there was a knock at the door, and a young girl came in. She was carrying food, almost as if Sahib had directly requested it. The tray was covered, so Sahib didn’t know what it was, but his stomach growled anxiously.
“It’s not a whole lot. Mostly just some sweet rolls and chicken soup. They’ll serve you the real food when you get to S—er…the city,” she said, quickly picking up on her falter. Sahib nodded slowly. She placed the tray on the table that was located between him and the other seat. The cover was lifted, and as soon as the smell hit his nose Sahib’s stomach started growling. “We also are having some Pokémon food brought in. It will be a few moments. Would you like some food for your Magikarp as well?” She was being so nice, Sahib wasn’t exactly sure what to say. So, with a mouth full of bread and soup, he nodded. She gave him a hesitant smile and walked out. Sahib went back to wolfing down his meal.
“We have arrived in our destination,” a voice said over the speakers. Sahib looked up from his empty tray and then out the window. It was snowing. Snowpoint City, Sahib thought. This was going to be worse than what he had first imagined it to be.

October 11th, 2009, 12:41 AM
"Today seems like a blur, everything happened so fast" Lily said laying down in her bed as Flareon laid on her stomach look up at her trainer. Flareon could see the frustration and terror in Lily's eyes, frustration because she had recieved a letter Gale Frost that she was chosen to be a particiapant in this years games. Terror because she knew what that meant, she had a big chance of not suriving.
"I just can't let it get to me Flareon we've gotta be strong and keep our chins up the whole time no matter how rough things get" she said before she drifted off. She started remebering her mothers reaction to the news, her mother cried for five straight hours and Lily felt horrible. She had always wanted to keep Lily away from everything happening in the world but now she was to be a big part of it. A tear swelled up in Lily's eyes as she turned to look to her alarm clock which read 2:35 AM. "We should probably get some sleep Flareon, tommorrow's a big day" Lily said as she returned Flareon into it's pokeball and rolled over onto her side slowly drifting to sleep.
The next morning was unlike any other morning in Lily's life, she awoke to find her mother standing in front of her with a tray of breakfast, there was pancakes and eggs, toast and orange juice. "Mom what are you doing?" Lily asked.
Her mother looked her straight in the eyes and Lily could see she was still in so much pain. "I want to make today count Lilith, your my only daughter they can't take you away like this!" Her mother said and Lily decided to make a joke to cheer her up.
"But mom if I eat this i'll lose my figure!" Lily said giggling and smiling at her mother. Her mother just laughed and set the tray down on the counter next to her bed before exiting the room. Lily took a few bites of the pancakes and washed it down with a sip of orange juic before noticing the time. "Oh no it's already six thirty I need to hurry and get packed!" she said before jumping out of bed and running to the bathroom, she quickly showered and then started to do her normal morning routine. Lily grabbed a blue tank top out of her closet and threw it on followed by a pair of her favorite blue jeans. She then dried her hair and put it up in a pony tail.
She hustled around trying to find everything she wanted to pack but to her avail she could not find any of it. She walked into the hallway and saw her father standing there holding her bag already packed by her mother the night before. "Thanks dad" she said before giving him a hug and walking back into her room she then proceeded to put on her tennis shoes and finally she was ready to go. She then threw the bag on her back and headed for the living room, to find both of her parents sitting down on the couch her father was holding her mother tight trying to comfort her as Lily then noticed the two guards standing behind them.
"It's time to go Lilith" one of them said as she nodded and walked over to her parents. She squated down and looked at them with a confident look.
"I promise you... i'll be home soon" she said before standing back up and walking out of the house with the guards. The confident look that once rested on her face was replaced by a depressed look, she knew that deep down inside the chances of her returning here and seeing her parents again weren't very good, but it didn't mean she wouldn't try.
Lily now sat on a train heading for the place where the games were to take place all she knew was that it was going to be a long ride and she decided to let her pokemon out of there balls. Chikorita and Flareon were playing nicely on the seat next to Lily while Electabuzz stood up against the wall with his arms crossed on his chest and a serious look on his face.
There had been a few different people that entered and asked her if she could use anything, food etc. Truth be told Lily hadn't had much of an appitite since recieving the letter. After a while a women in her forty's entered the room well at least from what Lily could tell she was in her forty's. Right away Lily noticed her eyes first, they were the same color as her's and it was a pleasent sight, she then sat down on the seat across from hers. She was about the same size as Lily although she was much paler and a little rounder.
"Hello there Lilith my name is Emilia Rose but you can call me Emily and I will be your guider" the woman said with somewhat of a calm soft voice. At the same time Elecatbuzz was giving her a very angered glare "Ah and electabuzz he seems very strong, would you mind introducing the rest of your team. Lily smiled before standing up.
"Well the one giving you the angry stare is elecatbuzz I like to call him Zap's though and don't worry about him acting all tough hes a sweet heart deep down inside. She then proceeded to pick up Flareon "and this here is my Flareon shes been one of my best friends since the day I found her" she said before setting her down and picking up chikorita who at this point was craving Lilys attention and smiled hugely when picked up. "And this little ball of happiness is Chikorita, shes the newest memeber to my team and i've just only recently added her" Lily then sat back down still craddling chikorita in her arms.
"My what an intresting team you have, all of different types as well, I can tell from the looks that your pokemon would do anything for you which is a good thing to have in these games" Emily said smiling back to Lily. Lily didn't know why but she felt like she was almost talking to her mother, Emily just had that atmosphere to her and it comforted Lily. "Now my next question for is what are your skills, because honestly you seem like to much of a girly girl to be any good with a weapon or fighting so I hope you have some kind of other skill" Emily said making fun of Lily's girly looks as Emily seemed to be more of a tomboy.
Lily just smirked at her "well if you must know actually I recieved a black belt in karate and i'm pretty skilled with a variety of weapons" she said as Emily seemed a bit surprised but at the same time eased by this.
"Well now you better not be lying missy, because that could be a great skill to have in the field" Emily said glaring at Lily trying to see if she really was indeed telling the truth.
"I'm not lying, I figured it would come in handy, because I like to help people and I didn't want to be defensless incase things got bad ya know?" Lily replied with a serious look, she hated being called a lier. Emily finally stood back up and began to tell her what events would be occuring tommorrow.
"Tommorrow you will be properly dressed to suit the enviroment you'll be in, secondly your pokemon's moves will be prefected and after that you will be introduced to the other competitors... Do not listen to anything they have to say, and whatever you do dont befriend any of them that will only make this tougher and if your going to survive these games as I hope you do you may be forced to do things that know one in there life should have to do, you understand me Lily" Emily spoke in a serious voice with alot of force behind it. Lily could see that Emily really did care and didn't want her to make any mistakes, but she knew what she meant by those things she had watched the games before and it was all to fresh in her mind now.
"Yes I understand" she replied as her mind began to wonder once again.
"Good and after all of that you will be given time to rest and relax, we should be arriving at our destination shortly, so I must go i'll see you again soon" Emily said leaving the room and Lily then stood up. She was alone again besides her pokemon, and she hated being alone. She was used to being pampered and what not and she had never had to face something like this before. All at once her pokemon came to her side and started to comfort her even Electabuzz he knew what was going on and was troubled because he wanted to do everything he could do to protect her. Lily stared down at her team and tears started falling from her eyes as she put her arms around them.
"You guys are great, I promise to keep you all safe throughout this and will come out alive I promise you that you will not end up alone.... I won't let that happen" Lily said still crying.
An hour later Lily was passed out on the chair with Flareon and Chikorita on her lap. Electabuzz was passed out in against the wall arms still crossed. They were all awoken by the stopping of the train "We have reached our destination thanks for riding" a voice said over a loud speaker as Lily felt her self feeling really cold and noticed she could see her breathe when she breathed, she then noticed it snowing outside her window and an even worse feeling raced through her mind.
"Things just got even worse" She thought to herself.

Waking up was never Cornelia’s forte. But being on sleeping meds doesn’t aid this very thing. She was slightly disoriented when she opened her eyes, and the sun was shining in her eyes just a little ways off the way it usually did. That’s when she noticed that she was on the ground, and that Circe was next to her, looking rather guilty. The Pokémon had obviously decided to wake her by dumping her on the ground, and the result was the her spine was quite shaken.
For one second, Cornelia forgot what day it was. She was wondering why Circe woke her up in the first place, wondering why it was still so early and wondering why getting out of sleep had been so difficult. The reality was a harsh slap in the face. She remembered being picked, the tears from her already emotionally unstable mother, the shocked face of her father, Shanti’s pity bordering on tears as she had hugged Cornelia as tight as she could.
Cornelia remembered the train that would be waiting for her soon. And she remembered her decision to get some sleep using the nifty pills that her mother sometimes used. The sleep had come swiftly and she could still feel the taste in her mouth that had suggested that the sleep was medicated.
Her bag was already packed from when she had shoved things into it. Things she most likely wouldn’t need anyway. Cornelia was desperate. Desperate to stay strong, and now show her fears to her family. Desperate to come back to the town, desperate to show her friends that she wouldn’t be a Sven, she wouldn’t become a monster. That she would win this, and still be the same girl. That she wouldn’t let herself be slaughtered like a beast in a ring.
Cornelia pushed all these feelings away and threw on a pair of white wool stockings under a flowing knee-length skirt. She pulled on a beige wool sweater, wincing as the static electricity crackled, and carefully combed her hair while holding it back with a white headband. She would do as she normally did, she would hold her head high and radiate confidence. She would win this.
she slowly ascended the stairs to find… an empty dining room. Cornelia didn’t mind, awkward goodbyes were not her forte. It may be for the best that she would never have to say goodbye to her family. She grabbed herself some bread and made herself a sandwich. She had barely swallowed the last piece when there was a knock on the door. Cornelia glanced at the clock, the train wasn’t to get here for another 15 minutes at least. Were they early?
The answer came when she opened the door and got attacked by dark-haired girl she knew so well. Cornelia hugged Shanti tightly, hearing the girl sob. “Cin! I-I don’t want you to go. There has to be a way! Can’t you hide? Run away? Anything?!”
Cornelia broke away from the girl, tears now streaming down Shanti’s face. With one smooth movement Cornelia slapped her friend. Shock could be read in the girl’s face. “Shanti, listen to me. Listen! I am going there, and I will go with pride. Do you hear me? And I am going for victory. I will come back, I promise you that. I will come back and I will be me.” Shanti nodded to this in response and hugged her again. A rough voice disturbed them.
“Lenore?”
Cornelia stepped forward, Shanti still clutching her arm. “That is me.”
“It is time to go.” That was all the man said as he not too gently grabbed her un-Shanti-ed arm and forced her through the door and toward the train that stood waiting. When Cornelia looked back she saw her parents in the doorway, her father was comforting her crying mother while her had a worried look on his face. He smiled when he saw her look, but it didn’t reach his eyes. Next to him was Shanti, was absently rubbing Cornelia’s mother’s arm.
Cornelia boarded the train half in a trance, while someone else carried her bag. She sat down on a seat near the window, but it quickly grew dark as the train entered a tunnel to the other side of the mountain.
More than half of the train ride was spent asleep. The soft bumping of the train and lack of sights outside accept for the tunnel walls took their toll, and Cornelia softly dozed off. When she woke up, someone was softly shaking her shoulder. “Miss Lenore, your guider will see you now.”
Cornelia followed the woman to another compartment where a very… intimidating man was waiting. He was big, big in the I’m-going-to-rip-you-in-half kind of way. The man had slightly tanned skin, brown curls framing his face and startling green eyes to finish his appearance. He also had an expression that said that messing with him meant certain death. Or at the least being ignored completely.
“Cornelia Lenore?” He asked in a very low voice. She nodded tentatively and he motioned for her to sit down opposite him. She did. “I’m your guider, as you already know. Alex Huntington.” There was no hand to shake, or smile or anything except for a piecing stare. Cornelia nodded. “I’m not going to lie,” he continued. “I won’t sugar coat anything. You have a 5 on 6 chance to die, and it will most likely be a gruesome death.” Cornelia winced, which only made Alex’ stare harder. “Your Pokémon?”
Cornelia, still silent and definitely intimidated by the man, released all three of her Pokémon. Circe stayed close to her, obviously scared of the man also. Eos just stared at the man with her red eyes, curiosity to be read. Merope fluttered in the air and seemed unaffected by his presence.
“Balanced, but small.” Alex muttered before addressing Cornelia again. “The Rapidash will be very valuable, she will be your transport. You could have done far worse. She could carry two also, in case of an alliance. Rapidash have a steady grip, which is very beneficial for this arena.” Cornelia wanted to ask what arena it would be, but she didn’t dare to.
“Kirlia is a very good one, I have experience with them myself. Tell me, does yours know Teleport?” Cornelia nodded. “How well is her telepacy?” Cornelia was forced to speak now.
“Circe can show me images, and feelings.”
“Excellent, you have your scout. Kirlia are small and fast, send her to try and find the location of others, or of hazards that there might be. Butterfree looks very week, the only use it might have is sleep powder. Now you have your transport, your scout and your escape route. You need still need a tank, to keep you safe from others, and a prime attacker. As for the tank, I would suggest something big. Steelix or Onix would be preferred, for they can snake around you for protection, although they are slow. One knowing protect could also be very useful. Their main task is to keep you from being killed. A prime attacker will be needed for taking out the others, for you don’t seem like it would be your main task. Tell me of your skills.”
Cornelia stayed silent for a while, thinking. She didn’t really have that many skills. “I-I took archery lessons when I was little, for a few years. I’m not really good, but should still be able to shoot an arrow a tiny bit accurately? I can also run.”
“Good, you’re small enough to be underestimated, keep that up. Try to look fragile, but not weak enough to become an easy target. Try to be overlooked. Also, you need an alliance.” Cornelia had thought about this too. She wasn’t physically strong, and so she needed someone who was to work with. Even though she was quick, she wasn’t too good at making clever plans either, not the schemes that could help her win. She needed and alliance to win this, and that’s what she would get. Alex continued. “Tomorrow when you meet your opponents, try and see who would be best for you. I would suggest maybe a girl would be best, more trustworthy and likely to accept you because you look so young.”
“When we get to the destination you will be properly clothed, we will get your Pokémon some decent moves and you’ll meet the people you’ll be killing, or will be killing you. Then you will rest up and sleep. For now, we are here.”
Cornelia abruptly looked out of the window. The scenery had changed to an almost blinding white. There was only one possibility. Snowpoint. A bit of hope shot through her. There would be plenty of water at least, and she was half-in-half used to the cold temperature. But still, this was going to be a tough one. And Alex didn’t seem to be very sympathetic about things. The train skidded to a loud stop and with it Cornelia’s stomach churned. “Well, here’s to all or nothing.”

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Smash! An outstretched arm from under a thick black comforter had smahed the alarm clock to pieces. The arm retreated and pulled the black comforter down, revealing a boy no older than 19 with boy band blonde looks. The boy groaned and got out of the bed, slowly shuffling over to the closet where his black and purple messenger bag and large black duffle bag were already packed. He slowly put on a long sleeve black shirt with black and purple tripp bondage pants. Kevin was never a morning person and was not the kind of person you'd like to wake up for the hell of it... Doing so could endanger your life.
Most would think because he was selected for the Pokemon Games that he wouldn't be able to sleep, but Kevin was actually excited... He just refused to show it. The reason he was excited were the two things everyone else was afraid of. He'd probably die, and he'd definitely get hurt. There was a reason this excited Kevin. He was a masochist at heart. He loved pain and had tried to commit suicide many times over. The boy walked from the bedroom of his apartment into the kitchen and went for the fridge. After downing his favorite coffee energy drink (Monster Java: Russian flavor), he put his boots on, grabbed his bags and headed out the door. Having no family or friends to say goodbye to made it all the easier and quicker for him. Just before he left the building, he inserted a letter into the mailbox ijust inside the door. It was a letter to his father in Celadon explaining that if he didn't make it, the apartment was his and included the spare key.
Kevin sighed, but closed the mailbox and walked out of the apartment building. He couldn't help but be a little bit nervous. A good 80% of him wanted to die and/or get hurt in the games, but that last 20% believed he could be saved and live a normal life.
He soon hailed a cab, however, cutting off any and all thoughts or regrets and was on his way to the train station. Kevin sat in the back of the cab, listening to "Cross the line" by Superchick on his iPod when they arrived at the train station.
"Sir. We've arrived." said the Cabbie. Kevin nodded and paid the man before grabbing his bags and walking off to the station where his ticket was already waiting for him. Kevin grabbed his ticket and went to grab a seat on the train.
Kevin sat on the train, watching the trees whizz by the window as he listened to "Nobody's Home" by Avril Lavigne, whispering the lyrics to himself silently as a single tear rolled down his cheak. The powerful lyrics of the punk-pop song resonated with his soul and he felt like someone understood his pain for once.
"She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
that's where she lies, broken inside.
There's no place to go, no place to go
to dry her eyes.
Broken inside"
"Bravo! But next time louder, we'll want to hear you next time in the back row." A deep voice resonated bringing Kevin out of his stupor, before chuckling slightly, but then turned serious in a flash. "You must be Kevin."
Kevin turned his head to the man and nodded, taking in how the man looked. The man was tall and lankey, but looked very wiry. He had to be at least 6'4" and easily towered over Kevin's small 5'9" frame. He had bleached blonde hair that looked like it was purposely messed up in spikes. The bright color against the man's dark tan skin made it even stand out more. The only thing about his body that went with his look were his eyes, which reminded Kevin of swirling chocolate. And then there were his clothes, which were bright and cheerful compared to Kevin's gothic outfit. The only thing even remotely gothic were his black Converse high tops sneakers. On the lower end he wore a pair of knee length tan khaki shorts, while up north he wore a navy blue skin tight underarmor T shirt.
"I'm Tyson, I'll be your guider for the games."
Kevin nodded again in response.
"Not one for words I see. Well, I need to know a few things about you so we can work together. Let's start off with your pokemon team."
Kevin nodded and reached into his messenger bag and pulled out his 4 pokeballs. He tossed the first one as Seel came out.
"This is my Seel. She's very protective. She knows ice beam, surf, horn drill, and agility." He said matter of factly, getting right to the point. Seel noticed Tyson and gave a warning growl before moving over next to Kevin. He tossed another pokeball in the air as a red Bug-type came out.
"This is Scizor. He's very affectionate." Kevin said as the Scizor began nuzzling his hand wanting Kevin to pet him, which Kevin obliged. "He knows Steel Wing, Agility, Night Slash, and False Swipe." Kevin withdrew the two pokemon into their balls and put them away before continueing.
A hard look crossed Tyson's face as Kevin introduced the pokemon. "Good so far..." Kevin nodded and continued by tossing another pokeball.
"This is Leafeon. She's a little fire cracker who loves battling. She knows Toxic, Razor Leaf, Synthesis, and Giga Drain." He said as Leafeon ran up to Tyson excitedly and sniffed his legs before running around in a circle, seeming to try to catch her tail. "... She's always hyper and energetic."
Kevin tossed his last pokeball in the air. "And finally, Houndour. He's very attached to me. He knows Flamethrower, Crunch, Howl, and Hyper Beam" Kevin retreated both pokemon back into their balls and put them away.
"Seems like a well balanced team. You may need to add a pokemon or two in the future however. Now, do you have any special skills?" Tyson asked, finally sitting next to the teen. Kevin reaching under the bottom of the left leg of his tripp pants and pulled out a .22 caliber revolver and cocked it.
"I have deadly acurate aim and know some defensive karate, but I suck at close range offensive fighting. I was also trained to be a mechanic over the years by my father. I can take apart something as large as this gun, or a carburater, modify it, and put it back together in under 10 minutes." Kevin stated putting the gun away.
"Nice, just avoid close range and hand to hand combat and you should be fine for now. Anything else you think I should know?"
"I'm a masochist. I enjoy pain and death. If I die in these games, I'm goin' out with a smile on my face." Kevin said, raising one of the wristbands on his right arm and hiking up the long sleeve to prove the point. Upon seeing the many scars, Tyson visibly flinched. He just had to get stuck with the suicidal emo kid.
"Depending on how that is played, that can be both a good thing and a bad thing in these games. Best to keep that under wraps for now."
Kevin again nodded and placed his sleeve and wristband in their original places, hiding the many scars from view again.
"Now for tomorrow, You will be dressed accordingly, perfect your pokemon's moves and meet the other competitors. But keep yourself rested and relaxed until the games are actually underway."
Kevin gave his usual nodding response and went back to listening to his iPod, this time listening to "I want to be loved" by Prozzak, while watching the scenery pass by the window rapidly. When the song ended, an announcement came on the intercom.
"Please gather your belongings and be ready to leave. We will be arrinving shortly." Kevin sighed, but gathered his belongings as the intercom had advised. "Well. Here goes nothing."

Chapter 1: Phase 2
Well, here you are. You’ve just gotten off the train and are in a car, seated next to your Guider. You’re most likely looking at the sights. Your Guider also might try to make small talk, and (depending on your current mood) you may or may not respond to the idle chatter. All of the snow on the ground, the few houses, and all of the piney trees that make up Snowpoint City. Truthfully the city looks rather majestic with the snow, but a lot of you probably won’t really be able to fully enjoy and appreciate that beauty. A lot of you see this as the place where your blood will stain that beautiful powder-white snow red. It’s not really something you’re looking forward to, but it was coming.
As soon as you arrive at a large building they get right down to business. You and your Guider will get on an elevator and go to:
Sahib: Floor 2
Natalie: Floor 3
Cornelia: Floor 4
Lilith: Floor 5
Kenny: Floor 6
Rin: Floor 7
This begins the first part of your “preparation”. You will be prepped in the area of clothing first, and it is mostly your Guider’s job to take care of you there. Fitters will be in the room to personally make sure the clothes you decide on fit, and if they do not they will fix the clothes for you. You must get (if you do not already have for some reason or another):
1 Winter Coat
1 Pair of Earmuffs/Warm Hat
1 Pair of Waterproof Gloves
1 Pair of Boots
1 Scarf
1 Pair of Snow Pants
The colors you can choose for yourself, and you can also pick what these particular things will look like. Your character is also able to get regular clothing (shirts/pants/socks/etc) but this is not required to have. Once you are done getting your clothes, you will be taken out of that room and into a room with several people and your Guider. They will offer you a choice of setting down your multiple bags of clothes, which you can accept or decline.
Your Guider will then explain that these are the PokeMakers. Most likely you will not like them right away, because many of you will know what that means. They are the ones that designed your own personal little hell. Your Guider will then say to bring out your Pokémon, which you must do. They will be brought out forcefully if you do not comply. After they are out, the PokeMakers will take some notes and then present you with anywhere from four to six moves . If you have a Pokémon that cannot learn that many moves, then it will obviously be less (like Magikarp can only learn Splash).
Moves: Maximum is 6, minimum is 4.
They will give you the moves (basically you can pick the moves here, I’m not going to tell you what your Pokémon can and can’t know…but please OK your moveset with me, just incase) and then your Guider will escort you out. In that stage, you could also put in if they are impressed or not with your Pokémon, or if they at least appear to be or to not be. You can also put in a conversation, but remember that they will speak curtly with you and won’t feel much like replying. They may make fun of your Pokémon (mostly this will happen if it is stage one) or they may compliment them (only happens if they are exceptionally strong/healthy looking to the PokeMakers).
Now you will meet each other. Your Guider will tell you that you are about to meet the other competitors, and you will all feel different about this. Some of you may have mixed feelings, others may feel scared, and all of the other lovely emotions in the world you could have. That’s when your Guider casually mentions to you the “addition” this year. Two more people have been added, and they have been especially chosen for this. How you feel about this is up to you. In this particular part of the thingie, you may interact with other characters. It’s really open ended here. Your character could be secluded and just observe everyone and not-talk, or they could try to gather as much information and talk with as many people (and make as many alliances, which many of your Guiders will recommend) as they possibly can. It just depends.
After about an hour, your Guiders will escort you out of the room and take you to your separate rooms (they are all on Floor 8 of this building). You can relax as much as you want. This may include reading, eating some food, sleeping, staring out your window, watching TV, or whatever else you can think of. You can basically have anything you want, because the night prior to the actual games is like the “Leisure Night”. If you’d like, your character also may continue a conversation with other characters. So really think of the last part of this whole thing (from the paragraph of meeting each other) as a big free post. Have fun, and enjoy your last night of leisure for a very, very long time.
Basically:
-Go to the proper floor after the car ride
-Get the proper gear (plus extra, if you’d like…you can have ANY clothing imaginable. Make yourself look sweet XD)
-Meet the PokeMakers (no introductions or anything, just you see ’em and realize they caused your hell)
-Get your moves set (How about this…you must OK your move set with me before you post.)
-Meet your other competitors…describe them…talk to them…collaborate…whatever.
-Then you can do whatever in the last part. Be creative though, that’ll make it fun =3
-You CAN split your post into two parts, if you prefer.
NPC Character Info:
#1
Name: Anthony ‘Tony’ Harding
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance:
Tony is average height, and has more muscle than you’d think possible to be on someone his age. Really, he looks like a teenage body builder. Truthfully he stands at about 5’10” so he isn’t too short. That doesn’t mean his buff-ness isn’t very prominent. Really he looks huge and scary and like he could kick your ass in a physical fight. His skin is pale, eyes are baby blue, and his blonde hair is cropped rather short. One of his ears is also pierced, which almost looks out of place. His body looks so jock-ish, you wouldn’t really think there’d be an earring there. Oh well, stuff happens.
Tony wears nice, tight clothes that show off his pecks. No, seriously he does. He’s generally caught wearing a name brand shirt that is tight enough so you can tell he has muscle, yet lose enough so you couldn’t like see his nipples or something. He isn’t that bad. They range in colors, but never really go beyond blue or green. He doesn’t really like colors too much. For pants, he generally goes for some form of basketball shorts. If he has to, he’ll grudgingly wear jeans so lose on his ass you’d think they would be about to fall down. As for shoes, he wears a pair of tennis shoes.
Personality:
Tony has a complete and almost stereotypical jock personality. That might be mean, but really he does. He’s very arrogant and believes that he can do anything. He also thinks that he could get anyone he wanted to do something for him, whether it be his homework or kill a man. Tony is also a complete womanizer. He knows he has the looks, and he knows he can get the ladies. So why not go for it? Exactly. He takes advantage of that often. Tony doesn’t really “love” he more or less breaks hearts. Tony is also pretty stupid. He honestly probably wouldn’t have been able to stay in private school had it not been for his overly brainy sister. Of course, he had her do all of his homework.
History:
Tony lived in a pampered life in Eterna City. He knows that his city is known for being fairly ruthless, and will use it to his advantage. Tony has grown up to be strong and tough, despite getting everything he wants when he throws a tantrum. He has trained physically for this all his life and has really never had an honest days work, which has made him almost arrogant. His father and mother have a high up position in the town, however, so this is almost to be expected. Tony doesn’t really have any “true” friends, because ninety percent of them just like him because of his parent’s money.
City Lived In: Eterna City
Skill:
Anthony is excellent at physical things. He is also very good with weapons. Basically the only thing he can’t do well is strategize.
Flaw:
Anthony can seem very harsh and cruel even when he doesn’t mean or want to be. Truthfully he doesn’t really see this as a flaw, but it can actually prevent him from making the proper alliances when he might need to. Of course, Anthony doesn’t think he needs to have alliances because he’s already got this game figured out. He also, of course, can’t strategize very well. He enjoys charging headfirst into things.
Pokémon Team:
Vigoroth (Male)
Anthony obtained Vigoroth as a gift from his father the day he turned six. He was rather displeased with the Pokémon, however, because all it seemed to want to do was sleep. When it evolved into a Vigoroth and learned more from Tony, suddenly it grew more aggressive and angry. His personality almost exactly resembles Tony’s personality.
Mankey (Female)
Mankey was recently acquired through a “Pokémon Napping”. Tony often enjoys this personal game, and has actually collected several Pokémon (that he was later forced to either give back or release) in these games. He makes a game from stealing other people’s Pokémon and keeping them for himself. Mankey is slowly becoming a lot less kind and a lot more aggressive. She’s starting to take after Vigoroth, and it’s almost scary to think about what she’ll be like as a Primape.
Monferno (Male)
Monferno was the second Pokémon that Tony got. He got Monferno as a Chimchar from Gale’s minions. Seeing as he has had plenty of extra training time, Monferno is extremely close to evolving and showing his stuff. This Pokémon has a mixed personality. Around Tony, he is harsh. Around others, he is fairly calm and kind.
#2Name: Alexandria ‘Ally’ Cooper
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance:
Ally has perfect features, almost literally. She has pale skin, wide blue eyes, and a cute pouty smile. Her hair is light brown with natural blonde highlights in it. What really does it for her is her lips. She’ll keep you focused on them by using lip gloss, and only lip gloss. Truthfully Ally doesn’t need anything else. She applies a bit of makeup to her face, but like her lips, only needs a little amount. Though her face may be the type to look very expressive, Ally can easily mask her emotions. You wouldn’t really know what she was feeling inside, no matter what she looked like on the outside.
Ally often wears her hair in a high ponytail, but will take it out if she deems fit. She also wears makeup, as previously mentioned. She often wears some form of dress or skirt that fits her frame rather…nicely. It will also show a lot of leg. As for a shirt, it will generally be just as short and skimpy as her shorts. Most of the time she goes for shirts that expose her stomach. Shoes wise, they range. She has about forty pairs, so it’s a rather difficult thing to pick for her.
Personality:
The first thing you’d notice about Ally is that she has an easily sexual mind. Don’t like it, too bad. She also is very flirty, and would do almost anything to get a boy’s attention (if she desperately wanted it). Ally is a pampered princess, however, and often gets angered if she doesn’t get her way. Ally pretends to be very innocent as well, when on the inside she is actually very evil and manipulative. She would never get close to anyone under any circumstance, because what the hell. She’d just end up killing them later on anyway. Think you can win her heart? Pfft, just try.
History:
She grew up as best friends with Tony, and practically squealed at the fact they would be entered as “special guests” together this year. They make an almost unbeatable tag team, because they often knew what the other was playing at. Ally, of course, could kill Tony if necessary. She was pampered, seeing as her father was rather high up on the ladder of all of Sinnoh, and not just Eterna City. Sheesh, what is it with these crazy strong people and Eterna City?
City Lived In: Eterna City
Skill:
Ally is just all around good at being sadistic and manipulative. Even though she is only fifteen, Ally can easily pull off an act of seduction that would make almost any male weak in the knees (maybe a few females, too). She’s also fairly decent with knives. I don’t mean throwing them, I mean mutilation and torture.
Flaw:
She’s horrible at physical fighting and couldn’t really do that to save her life, unless she had a weapon. She also hates being rejected and will throw a tantrum if she is rejected. Don’t reject her, you might end up dead.
Pokémon Team:
Weavile (Female)
Ally met Weavile one day when she was on a trip to Snowpoint City. She saw the Pokémon and they immediately became friends. Weavile is very, very sadistic and often likes to use her claws whenever she deems fit. That’s probably why she and Ally get along so well together.
Skarmory (Female)
Ally received Skarmory from her father on her 13th birthday. Ally had often expressed her like for the number 13, and her daddy just couldn’t resist. The Skarmory is often silent in the group. She’s not exactly sadistic, but she isn’t exactly too friendly either. It’s best just to leave her be. She prefers to be on her own anyway.
Haunter (Male)
Haunter was the Pokémon she got from Gale. Literally, she got it from him. Not directly, of course, but she was standing just outside the door when it was transported to her. Haunter is more of a jokester, but Ally does find him amusing and useful. She knows he can be just as horrifying as her other Pokémon, otherwise she probably would’ve let Weavile had him as a play toy.

Chapter 2- Phase two
*As I want interaction, this wont be too long*
Tale sat in the car, simply staring at the breathtaking view outside. Snow everywhere. Nataliesimply loved Eterna Forest covered in snow, the few times it happened. She would make snowmen or have snowball fights with her Pokémon. And this place had snow by the bucketload. This was going to be fu. And all the mountains about... one really had to feel like a king at the top of one of those. Tale hoped she could get to experience that feeling during the Games. She giggled at the sight of people jostling to and fro in the cold, hurrying about on their varying businesses.
"Are we there yet?", she asked Eric once again. He seemed to be amused by her costanting babbling, as he smiled almost serenely. "In a moment", he replied, just as he had done the last five times she had asked him that question. Talle laughed and pulled out a Pokébal from her glove. Sleight of hand was fun. She should get her dad to teach her more magic tricks when she got home, the winner of the Games... She just hoped not too many would have to get hurt for that to happen.
The car pulled up outside a large building. Tale could see two men wearing Gale Frost's insignia guarding the door. Eric talked to them for a couple, of seconds. They nodded and let the twosome pass, Tale pulling her baggage after her. they walked thorugh a spotless reception room towards a plain elevator in one corner.Eric took a brief look at a letter stuffed in his pocket and pressed the "3" button. The doors slid close, and Tale felt the small box move upwards. "We're going to floor three?", she asked her Guider. He nodded at her. "How great!", she said and jumped up and down in excitement. "That means good luck, I'm sure of it!". Eric merely chuckled. Before Tale could say more to him, the doors slid open again. The man led her out into a room stuffed with neatly ordered boxes, as well as two nice-looking ladies. "It is time to get you properly dressed, Tale!". The girl stared at the boxes for a while, then squealed with delight and ruhed for the nearest one...
After quite some time, the room was a mess, the fitters were sitting, panting, in two chairs, Eric shook with surpressed laugther, and a very happy Tale was admiring herself in a large, oval mirror. She was dressed in light layers of wool under a robust, purple winter coat and a pair of equally purple snow pants. On her head was the purple, stuffed top hat with earmuffs, an object the fitters had examined for quite some time to make sure it was wind- and waterprooof. To cover the rest of her face, she had picked a very thick white scarf, as well as a couple of googles in case of harsh winds. Tale had discovered a couple of black boots and immediately taking a liking to the, rounding off her bizarre appearance with thick white gloves, waterproof. Eric had suggested an all white outfift in a low voice, mentioning a word that sounded suspicously like "camouflage", but Tale had been to absorbed in the clothing to hear him properly. Still chuckling, eric said goodbye to the dressers and lead Tale into another room, lugging her new gear with him. This room was simpler, smaller. Two rough-looking men wearing Gale's insignia was waiting for her. They made a gesture towards the floor, and she thankfully dropped all her bags for the time being.
"Your Pokémon" one of the men said in a gruff voice. Tale happily released her Drifblim, her Roselia and her Murkrow, grinning to the men with enthusiasm. They stared at her Pokémon, then smirked. "A hundred bucks she's dead meat before round three", one of them said, and the other man nodded, still smirking. Tale didn't undertstand. She kept smiling as the men took some notes. "Well", we better give your Pokémon some new moves, then!" the first man said, pulling out some odd-looking discs. He knelt before Roselia while Tale looked at him anxiously. "For the wimpy treehugger, some envenomating spice (TOXIC) and a way to dampen enemie that would easily burn her (RAIN DANCE)". He pressed two of the discs on the Pokémons head, and it shuddered for a little while. Tale knelt to embrace it, but the man had already moved on to Murkrow. "For the filthy scarecrow, a chance of rest (ROOST) and a chance to learn from it's betters (SNATCH). And-" He stood up. "For the baloon from outer space, something that will make put you at slightly better odds with smarter foes (EMBARGO). I think that's all we will give you, girly. Move on."
As Tale and Eric stood in the elevator again, this time moving dow, Tale asked what the men had smirked at. He frowned. "Well, Tale, look at the environment. Your team has one glaring weakness. They are all weak to Ice- type moves, something you will most likely bump into here". Tale sighed, then smiled. "That's all? I thought I was looking weak or something!". She laughed, and Eric smiled again.
"You're going to meet the other competitors now", Eric said as they stood in front of a door on the ground floor. "Try and see if you can make friends with someone- it will be a great help in the Games". Tale bounced up and down in response. "Sure, Eric!" she said. "I love making new friends!" Without waiting for his response, she bursted into a room looking like a living room- couches, chairs, fireplace. To her disappointment she saw that it was empry- appearently she was the first one to arrive. She slumped down in the nearest chair, eagerly waiting.

Here she was sitting in a car on her way to the house where they would be preparing for the games. Sitting next to her of course was Emily her guider, she was trying to make small talk, but Lily's mind drifted off to other places. At one point she found herself wondering what would really become of her pokemon if she did not make it of this mess. Then she heard Emily say they were about to arrive.
"Great" she sighed smiling back to Emily who could see she was stressing out, then she pressed her face up against the back window of the car. Staring at the beautiful scenery. "It is beautiful" Lily said softly to Emily. Emily nodded in agreement. Deep down Lily knew that her blood may one day soon run through the snow covered lands.
Finally they arrived and were on there way to the fifth floor in an elevator. Once in the room Lily was quickly being dressed and picking out clothes that would suit her best for the games. She knew it would be deathly cold outside so the first thing she did was pick out a long sleeve light blue under armor shirt, along with the under armor pants to match. She then picked out a white long sleeve over shirt to go over the under armor followed by a bright blue winter coat. The snow pants she picked out were also a bright blue as well as the gloves and ear muffs and scarf.. Although the boots were a white color and had fur around the top outside and inside to keep her feet as insulated and warm as possible. Emily said she looked well prepared as well as pretty in all that blue. "It brings out your eyes" she said smiling as two men entered the room.
"Please bring out your pokemon were here to update there moves a bit" the men said as Lily decided not to argue and let out Flareon, Chikorita, and Electabuzz. The men looked over her pokemon and chuckled a bit at the sight of Chikorita and Flareon. "Such girly pokemon, I guess they fit you though" they said as they then noticed Electabuzz once again pressed up against a wall with his arms crossed pretending not to care. "Oh but that electabuzz looks very strong you may fair alright girl" they said as the first approached Chikorita and they pulled out three disks for her. "First move to help incase the snow gets to intense <Sunny day>, second move will protect help in protection from stronger enemies <protection> and finally a little bit of power for the tiny weakling <giga drain>" they then moved over to Flareon. "For the fire rat here we have a move that will give some help to it's teammates <helping hand> secondly will give it some bite to add to the cuteness <Fire fang>. Finally they made there way to Electabuzz who eyed them up and down caustiosly they pulled two more cd's and reached out for electabuzz who then electrified them both causing them to fly back in shock. "What the hell girl! Calm down your pokemon before we have to!" they shouted as Lily ran over to Electabuzz and started rubbing his shoulders.
"It's ok Electabuzz there just trying to help right now" she said as Electabuzz looked reluctant but wouldn't let down Lily and so he let his gaurd down. The two men then reapproached him "Now for the over protective hard ass we've got a few moves that will help greatly first move will help incase you find objects that you need to be moved or even a bigger foe <strength> next move is one that will do more damage the more the pokemon likes its trainer which this one seems to alot <return> and the final move is just something to help you use your size to your advantage <giga impact> thats all we have for you good day" the two of them shout as they leave the room and Lily returns her pokemon to there pokeballs.
"Well it seems like you just became a bit more suited for these games" Emily said as Lily stared down at the three pokeballs in her hands, she really did care for them.
"Yeah I just hope it's enough" Lily said still staring at them.
A few minutes later the two of them were in an elevator on there way downstairs. "So Lily remeber what I told you about these other competitors, trust my judgement please" Emily said as Lily nodded, she honestly just wanted to get her mind off everything while meeting the others. But if she was worried about having to kill one of them or worrying if one of them would kill her then how could she truly relax.

Sacred Beo: Good post =3 Hehe, so you thought of under armour too, huh? XD You'll see what I mean when I finish mine ;)
My post:
Sahib fidgeted slightly in the luxurious black car. His Guider was seated next to him, and he didn’t like that one bit. She had this frown on her face as she stared out the window. It made him curious, but also made him want to be out of there. She was actually sort of beginning to annoy him for no reason, but what the hell. **** happened, right? Sahib sighed and leaned his head back against the soft cushion seat. The driver said that they would be arriving soon, but Sahib didn’t really care to look out and about. He honestly couldn’t care less about much right now. His Guider—what was her name again? Oh right, Leah—was still staring out the window. This wasn’t awkward at all, no, of course not. Sahib rolled his eyes. Soon, they were in front of a large building.
Sahib sighed and stepped out of the warm car and onto the soft, powdery ground. His Converse left imprints in the snow. Sahib rubbed his bare arms. I should’ve thought to bring a coat, he thought in annoyance to himself. Stupid. Leah got out of the car next, and suddenly they were walking up to the castle. The driver declared that he would bring their bags up later, so Sahib didn’t bother to worry about his small bag. Instead, he looked straight ahead and kept his face stony. They wouldn’t film this part, but as soon as tomorrow arrived it would be all cameras, and all game faces. Almost straight away, Leah briskly walked over to an elevator. She pushed a button—2.
They rode up the elevator in utter silence. Sahib occasionally peered over at Leah. She seemed to still be off in some form of la-la land. A soft sigh escaped from his lips. Soon there was a soft “ding” and a halting motion. The doors smoothly slid open, and Sahib found himself walking into a rather interesting room. There were mirrors scattered about, along with a changing area and several racks of clothing. Sahib cocked his head to the side curiously. What the heck? He wondered. Suddenly there was a buzzing noise. A tube appeared to his right and inside a transport device. One girl in the room moved over and opened it, revealing several pairs of jeans. Sahib’s eyebrows shot up. Whoa, he thought.
“Welcome, Mr. Bihar,” one woman said. She walked up and quickly began to take his measurements. “Would you like us to specially order specific clothes? Or would you prefer to pick your own from either the computer to your left or the clothing racks up ahead?” Sahib blinked. How the hell was he supposed to know?
“I’ll just…find the clothes for myself,” he said slowly.
“Alright. Here is a list of everything you must have. Do not limit yourself. You can have anything you would like in this room,” she stated. Anything? Sahib wondered. “Well, anything that’s an article you would wear,” she continued with a slight giggle. Sahib nodded and then moved over to the computer. He looked at the multiple buttons. One was “apparel” another was “accessories”. Sahib pushed apparel. He was slightly surprised that the computer was a touch screen, and suddenly his inner-techno freak popped out. He began to quickly flick through the images of clothes. Might as well get a jacket first, Sahib decided.
Now, Sahib was the exact type who hated those big puffy and furry arctic jacket deals. He didn’t like giant marshmallow-like things that would screw up his speed and movement abilities. So, he settled for looking at wool trench coats. Sahib was more of a trench coat person anyway. He clicked on the color black, and then began paneling through the options. Nothing really caught his eye too much. In the end, he found one that he liked. It was a black one with three buttons. There were two pockets near his waist and another up by his chest. Sahib glanced at the screen and this pressed the “Order” button. Seconds later, there was a buzzing noise from the same transport thing. One woman opened it up, and soon the coat was full size. She walked over to him and held it up as he crouched slightly before slipping it on. Seconds later, he was looking at himself in the mirror.
“It looks perfectly tailored for you,” she stated as she fussed about the collar. “You’ll want a scarf though. Your pretty neck will freeze!”
Sahib wasn’t sure if he appreciated his neck being called pretty or not, so he just nodded and slipped off the coat. The woman walked off with it and set it on a separate rack that was suddenly empty. Sahib then hit the “Back” button on the screen. Next he browsed through the numerous scarves. Sahib, being not very fashion friendly, soon wondered what the heck he should pick. There were billions and billions of these things! He couldn’t even remember where the one or two he had liked gone, and there was no way he was going to hit back a million times just to find a scarf. The same woman, sensing his obvious issues, immediately walked up to him and tapped him on his shoulder. Sahib looked at her slightly startled.
“Would you like some fashion sense? Your Guider can tell me if the scarf is right for the games.”
“Uh…sure, I guess,” Sahib admitted.
“I’m Holly, by the way,” the woman chirped as she scooted him out of the way and quickly whizzed through the pages. Sahib nodded almost uncomfortably, unsure of what to say next. Occasionally Holly would pause her doings on the screen to look at him. Finally, she clicked on a scarf and showed it to him. The scarf was mostly black, but it had like a red strip woven into the fabric as well as some tan. “And it’s made of…cashmere! Warm enough, right? We can order it especially large too, just so you’ll have enough to keep you warm.” She was actually pretty nice, so Sahib decided he could be civilized as well.
“I like it,” he admitted. “…Leah?” They both looked at his Guider. She looked at the large screen that the scarf was projected onto. Finally, she nodded slowly. Holly beamed and ordered the scarf immediately. Seconds later, one of the other women in the room was pulling it out and hanging it over the trench coat.
“Now we just have to get everything else!” Holly chirped. Sahib blanched. This part alone had already taken fifteen minutes! He sighed slightly, but went on to do what she said.
In the end, he ended up getting a pair of black hiking boots that were waterproof, a pair of gloves that were black and had fur on the inside to keep his hands extra warm (they weren’t waterproof, but Holly said that they could fix that), and a rather warm and fuzzy hat. Sahib wasn’t too sure about the hat. It just looked rather odd. It was one of the types that looked like an Eskimo hat. Oh well…if it’ll keep me alive, I guess I can’t complain, he thought as Holly set it on the rack as well. This is the part where Sahib decided to speak up, because (once again) he wasn’t a poofy person. Snow pants counted as poofy.
“Holly, do I honestly have to have snow pants?” Sahib asked. It was obvious that he detested the idea.
Holly frowned. “I think that’s a question to ask your Guider. It’s required, but I suppose we could make some form of a substitution,” she admitted. Her voice was unsure though, so Sahib turned to Leah.
“Well, you could just wear your jeans and under armour. It might get really cold, but it also could be worth it. Several layers of that—or just one, depending on the day—might be warm enough for you. It would be like insulation to your jeans or whatever you wore on the outside,” Leah said wisely. Sahib liked her a bit more now. She seemed to at least know what she was talking about. “Wear two every day, at least. You’ll freeze. Maybe order some for that scrawny chest, boy.”
Sahib huffed. Scrawny chest? He thought in annoyance. Holly giggled and then ordered some of the thermal wear for underneath his shirts as well as his jeans. Sahib crossed his arms defensively, realized what he was doing and then uncrossed them. Stupid old lady, he thought in annoyance. The woman (he needed to figure out her name) took off his order of under armour and then handed it to him. Sahib blinked and took it from her, wondering why she didn’t put it on the rack. Holly giggled, and suddenly Sahib felt very uneasy.
“You need to try that one on for us, silly,” she chided. “We need to see how it will fit with your regular clothes and if it’ll actually keep you warm enough.” Sahib blanched. “Oh, and currently you’re sticking out like a sore thumb! You’re wearing white pants. And maybe I’ll fit you up with a heavy white shirt or sweatshirt for the above freezing days,” Holly said in her happy tone. Sahib’s eye twitched as he was shoved into the dressing stall thing.
Sahib looked down. It fits perfectly fine, he thought, cheeks going pinkish. He huffed and turned up his chin. There is NO way I am going out there. Nuh uh, nope, he decided, about to strip off the clothes. There was a knock on the door that made him flinch. Holly asked if he was done yet. It had been about five minutes already. Sahib called back in a negative response. There was a frustrated sigh, and then the door was practically ripped open. Sahib’s eyes went a bit wide. Holly smiled cheerily at him, grabbed his hand, and pulled him into the middle of the floor. Sahib sighed heavily. She’s going to try to rape me, Sahib thought as he decided to eye her carefully.
“Oh good! It seems like a perfect fit!” Holly squealed, walking around him. She paused at his back. Sahib felt vaguely uncomfortable. “Wow! You really do have no ass! It’s not that you wear your jeans down on your legs, it’s just your ass-less!” Holly started to giggle. Sahib’s eye twitched. The Leah snickered and the other two women giggled. It’s not my fault I have a fast metabolism, Sahib thought in annoyance. “So is it warm enough?”
“Yes,” he replied tersely.
“Good! We’ll just take that off and then get you some pants. And maybe a shirt, too. Then you’ll be all set!” she chirped happily. Sahib grumbled as he walked (or pouted) back into the dressing room.
“Sahib!” Holly squealed as soon as he walked out. He blinked and his eyebrow immediately shot up. “We have a selection of pants! Look! And we have belts, too. ’Cuz it’s obvious you’re going to need a belt, you’re so thin! You need to gain weight, you’ll freeze out there!” Holly just seemed to be one for odd ramblings. Sahib looked at the multiple pants she had lined out on a single rack. There wasn’t a whole lot. “They took white off the computer, so these will have to do,” she sighed.
Sahib thumbed through them until he found a pair that seemed to work best for him. He wasn’t really into cargo pants much, but figured that they would be useful out here. He grabbed a pair that had a pocket on each thigh as well as pockets where they would normally go. Then he grabbed a white belt to match. The women insisted he tried them on, and when he did, Sahib was happy to find that they fit almost perfectly. Sure, they were slightly lose, but it worked. His shopping was basically done now.
“Take some extra socks. Here’s a wool pair. Oh, and take this normal pair, just incase your feet get too hot,” Holly said, sticking the socks in his bag. “Hmm…oh! And take this sweatshirt. It’s fleece, so it will be good for you on a bit less cold days. Wear that if you can. Remember to put the under amour on underneath, just so you won’t freeze. Oh, and obviously another shirt below that, and…and…” Holly trailed off, and then hugged him. Sahib blinked, glanced around, and then awkwardly patted her back. Okkkkaaaaaaaaaaaaay then, Sahib thought. “Good luck!” she squeaked. Then it was over.
Time to meet my fellows, I guess, Sahib thought.

Kevin sighed as he looked out the window of the black Chevy Impala at the falling snow. 'Just think how much prettier it would be tinted red...' He thought sadistically to himself while listening to "Hey Hey" by Superchick on his iPod. Tyson, next to hims, was starting to get on Kev's nerves with his constan trying to start conversations.
Then he snapped. "Do you seriously want to know about my life?" Kevin asked snappishly. Tyson seemed taken back but sheepishly nodded.
"I grew up in Kanto. My died when I was young and I grew up pretty much being ignored by everyone. Do you know what it's like to constantly feel invisible? At 13, I set off on my pokemon journey to getaway from it. Everytime I've tried to kill myself so far, some random bystander steps in or something randomly miraculous happens that saves my life. It's frustrating. At that point, I settled down in Hearthomb and gave up on life."
Tyson immediately shut up. He had never heard a teenager so mad at everything. He looked out the window and found an excuse to speak in the tense atmosphere. "We're here."
They got out of the car and tensely walked to the elevater, where Tyson promptly pushed button 6. In no time, they were on the desired floor and walking down the hallway before going into the room at the end of the hallway. Three women bombarded them immediately cooing over Kevin the second they entered the room. Kevin did not look happy in the slightest as they finished cooing and began measureing him.
15 minutes later, Kevin was finished dressing, having chosen black earmuffs that had a slot to plug in his iPod, plain black snowpants, black fingerless gloves, and a black fleece winter coat with red accenting. The 3 women looked at him both satisfied and baffled at how one could wear so much black. A few minutes later, he had his chosen clothes in a bag and walked out of the room following Tyson again who led him to another room. There were a group of people there waiting for them. They gave off an enticing aura that Kevin could have bathed in
"These are the pokemakers." Tyson explained. "They set this whole thing up."
Kevin immediately bowed hearing this. "I applaud the creation of such a sadistic competition." Tyson was again taken back. He had never had a kid like this for the games. Ever.
"Enough pleasantries. Show us your pokemon." one of them ordered. Kevin happily obliged revealing his 4 pokemon.
"Hmm. 2 mutts, an overgrown bug and a blob." the apparent leader said. Seal immediately lunged for her while Kevin held her back. Leafeon, Houndour and Scizor shrugged it off. For once, Scizor wasn't begging for attention, but was rather alert for once. He clearly didn't like these people.
The woman, and apparent leader, walked up to Seel holding what looked like a CD to her forehead. "for the overprotective blob, a field advantage to confuse <HAZE>, and a surprising advantage over other water types <THUNDERBOLT>. Kevin returned Seel quickly so she wouldn't attack.
The woman then moved to Scizor. She again held CD-looking objects to Scizor's head. "For the mutated overgrown bug, an Aerial surprise <AERIAL ACE>, and an power increasing move <SWORDS DANCE>."
Scizor made no movements as she moved on to Leafeon, again holding up CDs. "For the drug loving mutt, A bright move to brighten anyone's day <SUNNY DAY>, and a powerful concentrated beam <SOLAR BEAM>." Leafeon yawned and laid down as she moved to Houndour. "And for the gothic mutt, A surprisingly charged bite <THUNDER FANG>, and an attack for rear defense <IRON TAIL>."
The woman then stood up and moved to Kevin. "Your pokemon should be ready now for the competition. Now get out of my sight." she said in a harsh voice. Kevin obediantly returned his pokemon and walked out of the room with Tyson.
Tyson turned to Kevin. "Now to meet the other competitors. Are you ready?"
"Just show me kids with death wishes." He said harshly before following Tyson down to what looked like a meeting room. Kevin looked around almost with a glare at his competitors. A happy go lucky girl with an obvious affection for purple, a jock with more muscles than brains, a girl who seemed like a vindictive cheerleader, an asian boy who seemed less than pleased, and a rather pretty girl in a bright tank top and jeans. Kevin shrugged them off and sat into a chair, turning up his iPod blasting "Caramelldansen" into his ears. The swedish song seemed to calm his nerves, if he was nervous at all, and made him visually relax to the music, giving him a look of bliss on his face.
((will continue in a later post. Hope this is good enough))
