Hey. I love Pokémon TCG, but I also wanna try something different. Post here if you guys have any other types of rules, or if you change your gameplay at all. I want to try something new.
EDIT::I am gonna be rating your different rules and gameplay to find the best change! When I find it, I'll make a "rule book" (in Photoshop and flash and the likes) with your rule on it. I'll add your name and the likes. If there are more than one rules that are really good, then I'll just make an "Altered Rule Book"! :bandit:

Me and my cousin made up the rule, that you have to have two energies on a PKMN before you can evolve them,i know its not exciting, but it makes it more challenging XD.

I don't prefer to play in a different way, because if I did I wouldn't get any better at the real way you are suppose to play. But that is just me.

Haha that's true, but then again...it's always fun to try something new. Adam...that is actually a really cool rule. Really adds to the challenge so evolving's not something that happens often!

I always found the idea that on your first turn, you could lay down as many cards as you could (energies, evolutions, etc) was fun.

It's also fun when you make it so that your Quagsire evolves into a Zapdos! ^___^

AdamHays: *~2 Energy Card Evolution~*
10/10! Excellent
This rule really slows down the gameplay, but in a way that makes it more fun. Besides the fun factor, now you actually have to try to evolve your Pokémon. Not like before. Having the 2 Energy Card Evolution rule added a lot more depth and strategy to the whole game! Perfect !
JKaizer *~QuickPlay~*
8/10 Awesome
The rule is very fun! You get out as many Pokémon cards/evolutions and energies on the first (and the following) turn(s) as you want. This REALLY speeds things up. If you get lucky, this way of play can make you win in a couple of turns. If you don't....you're screwed :P The only fault is that it gets too hard to put strategy in when you and your opponent are dropping cards like mad. Here's the other thing: You get lucky, you can have a Charizard with 5 Fire energies on the first turn as your active Pokémon. It's kind of luck inclined at times.
JKaizer *~Anything Evolution*~
6/10 Great
This rule was fun the first two turns I played it. Not to sound mean (I don't want to be mean :'(), but it gets old very fast. Though the idea sounds really fun, it's a bit cheap. You can get out a Pikachu, evolve it to a Magneton and from there make it a Charizard. It's a good way to play quickly and get the game over with, but the major point of the game is the slowness and the strategy invloved (though some decks are focused on quickplay). A good idea, but not enough to keep me playing it.

You could try
Mutant: were you evolve by type (water to water, fire to fire) or in some cases allegances (Team Rocket's to Team Rocket's Brock's to Brock's or Dark in its name to Dark in its name)
or
Magic: the Gathering Style: this is were all matches are best out of 3, you can play cards or use abilities after you attack, and you have 15 card sideboard that you can change with cards in your deck after the first game.
or
You could even try a tournament were there is no limit to the number of each card you can use in a deck (as long as you still have 60 cards in your deck) or a format were you can run as many non-basic energies as you want (again as long as your deck will still have 60 cards.

Sounds cool!
Ratings!:
Mutant: I need more info, I don't clearly understand this.
MTG Style
9/10
Sounds really fun. I should play this more often.
Tournament
7/10
The idea is pretty good, but it's too easy to rig the decks to make them ub3r powerful.
