One thing that really screwed me up when i first tried was leaving the poketch on just any app that was the last i used, which meant happiness somtimes. I would recomend turning it to the clock. Delays dont matter at this step also. (If you dont know what a delay is, its tied into your seconds.)

That's because it doesn't matter if they advance your frame. They only matter when you're collecting the egg to get your save frame and actual spread, and even then you shouldn't be even touching your Poketch then.

Only the happiness app advances it anyway.

I haven't even put my parents in the daycare. I've been trying to capture a pokemon and input the IVs so I can get how many taps/flips to do to get the right nature and stuff, but the wrong date messed it up. Which also was the cause of my high delays on my screenshot I posted earlier.

Yeah and when your shiny Machamp fails to OHKO a Blissey that is IV'd tell me that they are still better.

Yeah I remember last night I was trying to use Nintendo Wifi to trade pokes between my Plat and Heart Gold ( I Have 2 DS lites). I couldn't get onto Nintendo Wifi, so I just used the Union Room instead.
