Do you have the private message pop-up box enabled?

Although I believe it is enabled by default, you can disable it. Have you got it enabled or disabled? If you're wondering what exactly I'm talking about, it's that little box that comes up when you recieve a private message that includes both the sender and the title. :3

I think the private message pop-up box looks awesome so I've always had it enabled. XD;

Yes, I do have that enabled. When I have a new PM, I would prefer to know exactly who it is from and what the topic is about, straight away.

It should be disabled on all my alts., too.

Just like how all the smilies in text are auto-disabled :)

I have the popup box enabled as well. Having knowledge of the title and who it's from excites me because of the "suspense" what the PM's content is. The pop-up box also grabs my attention right away. Sometimes, I let a notification sit for a little while, so it's nice to be able to know when I have an important PM.

No, because I find all manners of pop-ups annoying, especially the "OK/Cancel" dialog boxes Windows likes to throw my way every three seconds:/

That and I usually notice new PM's anyway.

I have kept mines enabled as well. It's the only way to immediately grab my attention right away when needed. Plus, I see who it is from directly as well as what the message may be about beforehand.

PMs don't come as often as VMs, so having one pop-up on the screen every once in awhile isn't so bothersome.

Yep. PMs are usually only urgent matters, especially since the advent of VMs, so I prefer to know about them right away.

Although I find a pop-up for a PM asking me to help with some random person's hack annoying, it is by no means the pop-up box's fault. I keep it enabled so I know when I get a PM, as it loads faster than having to click the "Notifications: 1" drop-down, and then select "Unread Private Messages - 1".

Plus, knowing who it is and what it is about right off of the bat is beneficial.

I've never enabled it at any forum I've been to, ever. I'm not a fan of pop-ups. Besides, with it popping up, it wouldn't make me check them any faster.

I'm actually kind of surprised so many people have it enabled, to be honest. It's a feature I forget about most of the time, since I don't use it. ._.

I have it where it will pop-up, because it's a good way to alert you that you have a new PM, if I didn't have it enabled, I probably wouldn't notice that I have a new PM until later on. And I like the pop-up option xD

I always resolve my notifications promptly, so I have it disabled, since it just gets annoying.

I used to have it enabled, but I recently disabled it due to most of my PMs being random questions concerning a certain thread I created a couple years back... nothing too important often comes my way .

Besides, it's not like I don't check my PMs whenever I see them anyhow. I just have a bad habit of not replying to 'em for a while.

Like LeSabre, I get annoyed by pop ups, so I don't have it enabled. I can be able to find my PMs fine, since I don't get too many of those nowadays. XD
