ok im just about to go out and buy a GBA from my local porn shop (get them for half the price of a GBA SP, but im getting one of them later, i dont have tht sorta money to throw around atm) anyways...im just wondering what game i should get. this is going to be my first game of the 3rd/4th gen range of games so what would you all as a community recomend me on getting?

also what are the differances in R/S? ius it just the team aqua and magma or is there different pokemon to catch in each (like every other pokemon game) or are there other side quests and stuff?

If you'd like to get all nostalgic, I'd buy Fire Red or Leaf Green. If you want something new, I'd go with Ruby or Sapphire.

The differences between R/S:
1) Team Magma/Team Aqua
2) Different PKMN

Basically, that's pretty much it. I'm sure I've forgotten something... Ah well, I'll leave the major details to anyone else who replies.

I suggest Sapphire version. It has Kyogre in it, which can beat Groudon. The only difference between the two is the opposing and allying team(aqua or magma) and about seven Pokemon, like Kyogre/Groudon, Lunatone/Solrock, or Lotad/Seedot. The only reason I suggest Ruby is because it has latios in it which I think is better than Latias in Sapphire

I say get Sapphire/Ruby.. You only can get pokemon from Jhoto and Kanto but Ruby/Sapphire have some Jhoto and Kanto XD! Anywho if you get FireRed or LeafGreen meh.

The differences between them are just solely in the way of Pokemon and teams. In Ruby, the exclusive ones are: Seedot, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Mawile, Zangoose, Solrock, Latios and Groudon. In Sapphire, the exclusive ones are: Lotad, Lombre, Sableye, Seviper, Lunatone, Latias and Kyogre. In Ruby, the team is Magma, focused on making the land larger. In Sapphire, the team is Aqua, focused on making the ocean larger.

That just sums it up. If you really want to choose, then it'll be down to persoanl preference really. :/

ok i meant pawn shop not a 'porn shotp' but it ended up selling erotic vids and dirty mags anyways...

i ended up getting a GBA SP second hand (perfect condition) and Ruby...now then all i got to do is eventually get all of the others over the next few months...and a game cube and collosium (well maybe not the GC but hey)
