Yay a member! ^^', I'm starting to get worried about the Literacy test coming up on the 27th, if I don't pass it (even though I will pass XD) I won't graduate. There was even a presentation for it at my school, and its making me nervous.

Mou... me too. @_@; I know it shouldn't be a big deal to me, but just the way they always have stuff on CBC talking about how people have failed it, and it screwed up their lives or something. o_O;; Plus, I just don't want to take the tests. I got to skip out on EQAO all my life... so to actually have to do stuff now? Blech! XD
I live in the GTA. =X I've lived... pretty much all over though. (Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, Halifax~)

You out of all people will do just fine. We even looked at past tests online, right? They were easy. You'll do great, don't worry.

Me join. XD I live in Edmonton, Alberta. The only other Canadian cities I've been to are Vancouver, Calgary, and Saskatchwan. Lethbridge, Medcine Hat, and Red Deer too if they count.
As for being proud about the fact I'm Canadian... I hardly even think about it, so I don't think so. Um, we do have a lot of water here, and lots of land, so I guess I can be proud about that. The proudest fact I can name about Canada is our beautiful city of Vancouver, the 2nd most beautiful city in the world next to Rio De Janeiro! We were also not rebellious like the Americans--not that they are a bad nation down there or anything, but they still did it unloyally in the beginning by seperating from British colonial rule.
Other facts like the fact we had the 2nd biggest economy and 3rd biggest military in the world after World War 2 (don't think this is true myself, but my social teacher said so), or that we fought on the winning side during both world wars don't really appeal to me though.

Literacy Tests begin tommorow, I'm going crazy at the thought, thinking if I could pass the test or not, because I heard you have to get at least 75% to pass it, I don't know if its true its just what heard, and if I don't pass I really don't want to do it again next year....
But overall,when I think about it, it shouldn't be too hard its just like an extended version of English class to me, I just hope I wake up on time XD.

T_T Yeah, we had ours today. Bah... it's not as bad as I thought it would be, but at the same time, it's disappointingly easy. o_O;; *is weird*
I don't know what you have to get to pass... but now that you mention it, I think I have heard it's 75% =\ That seems a little high... especially since almost everyone in my english class last year got high 60s or something. <<;;

Oh, indeed that was easy:
"In the picture what would you click on to access information on Aboriginal People:
-About Us
-Contact Us
-Aboriginal People
-Français"
I would think to pass you'd need a 50%, no? *shrugs* Yeah, the majority of my English class last year was horribly pathetic as well. *laughs at them*

My english class last year was too easy, I would be surprised if anyone had under 70%... I was so sick of the way that class was running our teacher was always calm and gave out easy marks which is way so many people skipped her class alot. I would sometimes not go to class for like a week at a time, (which I regret looking back) but I still ended up with 75%.
