I'm having a problem,
It's kind of big XD
I recently downloaded some software that won't delete because it says it's already being used HOWEVER if I ctrl+alt+delete nothing shows up on Windows Task Manager, I'm pretty sure it's not hidden, however I'm not sure if the file is corrupted as I can't install anything else..
It keeps popping up saying that something is installing.
Help.. Please? ^.^

If you want it uninstalled try the Revo Uninstaller, it works better than the windows crap.

I'm not sure if I've sorted it out, but I've deleted it "permanently" [as in using a demo version of wiping files from the c drive] however I'm not sure if I will still be unable to install something..

Did you try a reboot? That'll kill any invisible processes.

If the problem persists, try booting into Safe Mode (normally done by holding F8 when booting up) and attempting to uninstall it that way. =/

Use Unlocker (http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/) on the executable and unhook the process from whatever's using it. I normally don't recommend doing this, but this sounds like a case where it would be a good idea.
