Digimon Name Origin

I said this at JA's site but i figured I would post it here.
The Ygddrasil is the program rumoured to have created Digimon itself. And I'm sure most of your are all thinking "What the heck is with THAT name?" Well, due to my liking of Mythology, I have figured that out. Now wait one second while I get my book....
*rummages through piles of nothingness* AHA! XD

Its ties in well with the Yggdrasil Program if you ask me.

Which series are you talking about? I don't remember anything like this from 01, 02, or Tamers (never watched Frontier), but then again, it's been a while.

On that note, the creator program or w/e has nothing to do with the origin of the name "Digimon". That word just means Digital Monsters (which I'm going to assume you already know)
