NatureKeeper, you've received a warning for one of your posts here at the PokéCommunity Forums.

Reason: Off-topic posting / SPAM

The staff member who issued the warning has included the following message:

Don't post things like "lol i love it make it smile" in Pixel Art. It breaks our rules, is completely unhelpful and is above all pointless. Next time I see you doing it it'll be a real infraction.

You can view the post this warning was given for by clicking 5425914[/post]']here ('[post). The post is also quoted below:
New custom shaymin
different from other shaymins and bigger than others.
Based on my own comic.

Come on, I know they aren't 100% perfect :(
Need some comments...

Make it smile. If you do, I'll certainly use it. :D(If you get an error message when trying to view the link, it means the moderators have probably deleted the message already.)

Warnings are different from infractions; they don't actually add any points or count towards your record for getting suspended. We're giving you this warning so you can have a chance to see what you've done wrong and improve before you receive infraction points. If you have any questions about warnings or infractions (or the difference between them), take a look at this thread and feel free to post any questions there. Further information about the infraction system can be found by clicking here (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=122017) (you can also ask any questions you have about the system in that thread.)

It's important that you read and understand the rules for posting here at PokéCommunity. A complete set of rules can be found in this thread (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=91723), be sure to read and review them until you're clear on their meaning. If you have any questions, you're more than welcome to ask them in the Community Questions & Feedback forum (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4).

Ok, seriously, is this spam?

I just didn't feel that a Shaymin is angry and evil. So I asked pokédialga to change that face expression. What do I get? A warning in my account, ruining my white career here on this website. Please explain, what should I say for that to be undersandable? Tell him : "Hey Pokédialga! May you please change the mouth pixels for them to seem a curved-upward line?" Why couldn't I say "Make it smile!"

I sure respect PC's rules, but it is not respectful to me. If Fox cannot handle the forum (Pixel Art) alone, then he should probably get a partner or something. This thing is what I cannot tolerate.

I need a reply for this from a Moderator.

The Pixel Art forum can be a bit strict with some rules, but he is right. You see, they want you to use CC when posting, or Constructive Criticism.
Constructive Criticism
This is something that is regarded very highly in this section. It's one thing to say, "I like it" or "Nah, it doesn't really appeal to me", but it's another to add why you don't like it. It's not like you have to write an essay, a sentence or two would surfice. Honestly, something like "Wow that's really nice, I love the colours" is fine. However we'd still prefer it if you put a bit more time and elaboration into your posts as it's a lot more helpful and allows those who you are critiquing to understand the good/bad points of their work and improve upon them.

In addition, do not react harshly to someone's criticisms. In most cases, people are just trying to help you improve. Basically, if you can't take it, don't bother posting.

Constructive criticism is important in this section, and we encourage the practice of it. That is why those found to ignore this rule will receive a warning for SPAM, and if it is continued than an infraction for Constant SPAM (3 points - 3 months) will be issued.
And telling him to make the sprite smile isn't really constructive criticism.

Of course, when it happened to me, I just got my post deleted. You must have done it multiple times to receive a warning.
Also, next time, wouldn't it just be better the PM that moderator that gave you the warning?

Fox is no longer a moderator. So I, a close personal friend of his (And the person who reported said post) will answer on his behalf. Have you not read the Pixel Art forum rules? They state that you need to offer constructive, elaborate criticism on sprites or your posts will be deleted and you may be infracted. So, to answer your question. Yes, this is SPAM.

EDIT: Yeah, Eeveon hit a few good points too. :>

EDIT2: What's the point in disputing this now? Your warning was issued on December 28th. :|

That was my first time, Eeveon. I don't recall even posting much in the Pixel Art forums.

Ok, the post also got deleted. But a warning? That is a bit much.

You broke the rules. Whenever you break the rules you're likely to get an infraction. If you don't you're lucky. Especially in a forum like Pixel Art, where the rules are broken multiple times a day, and where a moderator can get extremely frustrated with the posters.

Is it a matter with a moderator's mood...

Unconstructive reason...

What, that's ridiculous. You're blaming others when you broke the rules. That's all. You broke the rules; deal with it.
