She just broke up with her boyfriend yesturday and she's already dating this guy I liked XD So I'm hanging out with his best friend cause it's awkward all of us standing there and them two holding eachother. Me and Austin are just like >_>

Do you have any friends that rebound quickly from break-ups?

Back in high school this was a common occurrence when couples broke up.
I had lots of friends that went through this, except it was a little worse because usually people were "recycled". If that makes any sense.

Nope, none of my friends are really like that. My personality really doesn't attract people like that.
I just had a friend break up with her boyfriend and she's still heart broken over it [even though he clearly used her]. She thought she loved him, but really it wasn't that at all.

Honestly, in my opinion, you haven't really loved somebody if you can just up and switch boyfriends/girlfriends as soon as you break up with your previous one..

Ah. I understand.

I'm surprised. She dated this guy 13 times in three months...

I think it's awkward. Hanging out with your friends when their with their boyfriend or girlfriend XD

Yeah it is pretty weir to hang out with friends when they're with their boyfriend/girlfriend, I mean one minute your talking and the other minute they're kissing and I'm like "Um, time to hit the old dusty trial." O.o
But yeah in High School a lot of people rebound quickly because they really don't know what love is yet they just pair up and split in a couple of weeks or months.

Yes. Most of my friends that are girls, and the one guy, the only person I've ever dated, got a girlfriend the week after he dumped me.

But all my friends from out of school don't. They don't date people, but when they do if they get dumped they stay down for a long time.

Can I count myself? xD, I know it's not a good thing, but if I'm not with somebody, I get lonely. xD

Yes, I do. This one girl in my school broke up with someone, then got together with someone else on the SAME day. : P

Ohmygod. Her boyfriend Blade broke up with her this morning and not even five minutes later, she was already dating someone else!

I try to stay out of other people's problems, I have enough of my own. But they keep on bringing me into it :P my friends are the type to break up and make up the next day. (note* make up with the same person.)

I don't have friends like that.

But, unfortunately, I know of a lot of people that will break up with someone and will be with another person within a week. And it irks the crap out of me unless there's a good reason (there often isn't). It was worse in middle school, though, so I suppose I should be grateful that my classmates have calmed down a bit...

Maybe she just wanted to hit it and quit it? D:

I was reading through a few replies but as soon as I saw this one, I had to stop and post immediately.

I'm sorry but your friend sounds like a slut.

Anyway, no that sort of stuff doesnt really happen at my school. Our school is rather small so everyone knows everyone, and it would be a bit too awkward if that sort of boy/girlfriend-jumping happened with so little intervals. It happens, but not that often.

I know, right?

It's weird. The nicest guys go out with the trashiest girls XD(i'm not calling my friend trashy)

I've known this girl for about 8 years now, and she happens to be the worlds biggest serial monogamist. She has a pattern that goes something like this.
Serious relationship lasting a year or two. End of serious relationship. One day break. Casual / short term relationship / fling / rebound, lasting a fortnight. One day break. Finds a new relationship. A year or two in this relationship. End of serious relationship. And so on and so on and so on.
I kept getting caught up in the rebound stage of the cycle when I was younger. Thank god for Facebook, because at least now I can tell when she is single and avoid her calls!!!
If she's spent more than three weeks single in the entire time I've known her, I'll eat my keyboard. Some people just can't handle being alone.

High school was funny like that. We used to compare the way that we all dated each others exes to incest.

Same, I guess. And I don't socialise in real life, so I don't know a lot about who's dating whom. '~'

Not really, when my friends are dating someone, after they've broken up, they'll wait a couple of months before dating again.

My friend Paige has had quite a few boyfriends. She mainly dated seniors, and she's a sophomore. She is now currently dating my best friend since sixth grade, and it's good to see she's actually dating someone her own grade. >__>

That's like my friend, Summer. She's 14 and she'll hit on guys in Gamestop, Wal-Mart, you name it.

There was this one guy at Gamestop that worked there and Summer and her friend hit on him...now he doesn't work there anymore XD
