To save up threadspace

Ok, here's a question to PC: I know that you guys get flooded with a lot of threads, and so you guys have to deal with bandwidth. If I have a random question that would probably count as spam, could I just send a PM to a mod instead of wasting space by asking out the (many?) questions I have?
