Hey Everyone!
Last night, Cartoon Network showed Pokemon 2000 as a premiere for "special Fridays". I watched it, and well...
Please, I have a request. Does anybody know a website where I can download that beautiful Music that Melody plays (Lugia's theme)? I don't really care if it's an audio or a video clip (though I really would like the video clip when Melody plays that ocarina/flute for the first time on stage...)
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!

I had tried to find it so many times! But I never found this. I'm sorry.

Maybe you can try some Japanese sites.

Hey, thanks Jynx! I really appreciate it. If you ever come across it, please inform me. I will do the same, I promise!

Anyway, if anybody else would try to find such a site (see my first post in this thread) with it, I would really be grateful.

Hoping for the best (and trying to find something to do ;)

Yes, I will.
I will look in the pokemon sites that I am familiar with when I go to Hong Kong.
I will be there during Christmas holidays.

Hey Jynx! Thanks...
You are really lucky. Getting to travel all over... Usually, it's either a short trip to Niagara Falls or to my bedroom ;)
Anyway, I am still hoping that someone, somewhere will be able to help. That way, it won't be a burden on you... I don't want it to be...
For those of you who are reading this, please check the first post of this thread for my request. I would be eternally grateful for that video clip.
Oh yeah, in addition to what I had requested above, I also would greatly appreciate it if somebody would send me a link to a site with the video clip when Melody uses her ocarina/flute when Ash placed the final treasure (though I prefer her first time, when she danced...)
Thanks everyone!

Neh, it won't be a burden.
I want that song as well, and I think I've seen it in some Cantonese sites.

I've actually heard the Japanese version of that music in addition to the American theme. Both are quite excellent, though I'd go with the American music...
Once again, if anybody would please send me a link to a site where I can download what I have requested (see above posts, especially the first...) I would appreciate it! ;)
Thanks to everyone!

Well, I've only managed to find the Japanese music clip, and it doesn't show a video. T-T Sorry. But here's a good site to visit for anyone Pokmon MP3's, etc. http://www.sm.umbreoncave.com/dload.html I'm sure that sooner or later they'll be updating it with even more music, so you could check there another time and see if they've added it. You never know! ^_^;

What? Are they different? o_O||||Hi Jynx...
Yep, they are different. I am not sure of where I got the Japanese version. It's called "Furara's Theme" or something. Anyway, I think you'll prefer the American version (though Furara's Theme is pretty good...)

To those of you who are reading this, please try to help me. I'll repeat what I have posted previously in this thread; My request is a website where I can download that music (Lugia's theme) in Pokemon 2000, the Second Movie. It is the music that the character Melody plays on her ocarina/flute. I don't mind if it's an audio or a video clip (though I would be eternally grateful if you can get a video clip with Melody playing the music for the first time, on stage, while she dances a bit, or in the final scene... [though I really want the former more])...
PLEASE!
Thanks for your cooperation!

But since Furura's theme doesn't contain a single word, why do they have to change it?
The original is a imitate of Southern Island music. Contains the feelings of South-east Asia, Africa, South Africa and also Australia music.

Why do USA have to change it?

I honostly don't know the answer. Either way, I am not really complaining...
Like I've said, both are really nice pieces of music, though I am still more fond of the American version...
Please, if anybody can heed my request (see above posts for what I am desperately searching for...)...

I've re-encoded that part of the movie you been asking for. Due to the limitations of geocities I've shrunk down the size of the video.

Any way here it is:
http://www.geocities.com/wp31415926/Melody.zip

The attachment in this message should give you an idea what the original size is. By the way, the music that Melody plays in the American version is called "A Legend comes to Life".

I don't get it.

I have both versions of the movie and the theme on the Japanese version is far more suiting for Furura (or Melody. Whatever you prefer). In the American version, the flute used in the theme sounds too much like a band-style flute which doesn't work well at all. It just doesn't match up. Though in the Japanese theme, the flute's (or should I say Ocarina) sound is considerably hollow which makes it sounds more authentic.

When it comes to the final theme near the end, I think 4Kids overdid the theme. They made it more like an orchestral movement which really took away form the scene in my eyes. In the Japanese theme, it was far more flowing and you heard the flute throughout the piece...but hey, to each his own.

I couldn't have said it better my-self. I also prefer the Japanese version over the 4Kids dubbed version anyday. Though I usually do like the original better out of almost all the music, heh.
