Typhlosion help

I am putting a Typhlosion on my team and I need movesets, what EV's should I work on etc. Right now it's moves are really bad (three fire moves) and it needs help.

Typhlosion has a bad movepool, but heres a moveset for you:

Flamethrower
Thunderpunch
Earthquake
Toxic

Note that Thunderpunch is a move tutor move in Emerald version.

But I reccomend the Typhlosion moveset here:

-some physical move stuff

Terrible Pokemon... overshadowed at everything it can possibly do. The best that I can think of is to try to howl once, then launch physical attacks. Hope that you get salac kicking and hopefully sweep, with Blaze + Overheat as special attack backup =/

Whatever it can do, the two other fire starters can do it better, and it's not funny when all the other 3 grass starters can OHKO you too, yet you cannot OHKO any one of them.

Typhlosion's choice of special moves is very limited, and it's attack stat is only above average.

Two fire attacks? And where's the EV distribution?

Typhlosion can't even mixed sweep well, and if you want Reversal, you're going to need Endure.

Adam, you might want to read the Advanced Trainer Guide already, cos you obviously haven't yet.

Overheat and flamethrower IS actually ok in Adamhays's situation. What's not ok about his moveset is reveral without substitute or endure, not the two fire attacks.

I myself don't think that flamethrower and overheat are best used together on this guy........

Bah, mabye I should take him out of my team, but I'm gonna test him out for a bit. thanks for the suggestions, I'll decide which i'll pick.
