Sigs limitations.

I had a thought.. maybe the signatures should be limited to so many lines.. I find that when reading the forum topics, it gets annoying b/c 2/3 of the time is just scrolling over these massive signatures.. it should be about the discussion, not these massive sigs that have your life story in it. Maybe if it was limited, it would be enough to have maybe 2/3 lines of text and one banner graphic. Thats still plenty.

The staff has been trying to figure a fair way of doing this.

If it bothers you so much, you can turn them off in your UserCP.

It's not a huge bothersome to me, and it's nice to see the uniqueness of it, obviously something you can't have if you turn them off. I just noticed that this is a problem on many bbs.. but I don't know, it's just my thought.

The thing is that the banner size is not normally reflected in the length of the url. People can have many lines in their signature, which only reflect a few small icons. Another person, on the other hand, may only have one line, but it reflects one huge picture.
That's why it's such a problem.
There is a general consensus of trying to keep your sig to a limited size, otherwise the member will be PMed and asked to reduce their sig size
But thanks for your concern ^^ don't worry -we find huge sigs annoying too XD

Sadly that template mod I did didn’t account for variable width, or it would have been quite useful. *sigh* It’s a constant battle.

Well, I'm a main culprit, but there are worse signatures out there.

Turn 'em off if you don't want to scroll over them.

It's not our fault you don't wanna scroll over them all the time when you have a choice.

That’s not the best attitude to gave. =\ It’s kind of rude to make people lose at on all sigs cause you don’t want to obey the rules that are set down for them.
