reputation question

I'm not sure I really get it. I know how to do it and all, but how often do you normally give it out?
I only give it out if they make a good point on something, but I don't like giving out bad rep because I think it's mean. I've gotten bad rep only once, and it was for saying that I didn't know how to do something. Some people are just really mean.

Anyway, I guess that you basically can just give it out when you see a good post. (As often as you like!) It would just be better if you really did like one though, rather than just give someone a rep because you liked their avatar or something. There wouldn't be much of a point in that, lol. And as for the bad reputation points... Hmm, that was mean! People shouldn't give others bad rep just because they couldn't figure something out. Those are only for mean posts or something. If the person made a rude comment then just let me know, because then I can check to see who made it, and maybe give the person a warning if necessary.

Um,you can just give it out when you feel someone deserves it,or you don't have to do it at all XD.

Yeah,the rep system is abused,people give bad rep cause they can,i used to,but i relized it was just stupid to give bad rep,it's rude and such.

But teah,you can just give it for good posts and such.
