Silver- The New Green, He likes Blue and is not the one in the Anime, they have different personalities.

To add on to these people on the list (hope you don't mind)
Elm-The professor in New Bark Town who updates on Gold's progress as a pokemon trainer through Johto.
Gold-A trainer who treats his pokemon as partners. He is rash though and often acts before he thinks.
Silver-Because he had been manipulated by a mysterious person before he escaped from his/her clutches(together with Blue, the brown-haired girl), he is somewhat a cold person and will do anything to achieve his goals, whether it is right or wrong to do so.

Additional information to Oni's descriptions
(a bit of SPOILERs though)
Hat of Yellow: Her signature hat, an item given by Blue, is actually a secret weapon by itself. It has a build-in communication system that allows her to communicate with Blue in times of danger.
To add on to Gold's billard cue:He uses it to send out pokemon this way behind enemies' back to do sneak attacks.

Ruby - Nearshighted boy who excels in making Pokeblocks. He only attends Pokemon contests and has no interest in Pokemon Battles. He fears his father since he abuses him. (Kicks him in the gut or puches him in the face)

Sapphire - Quite the wild side of the story. She is the complete opposite of Ruby. She hates Pokemon contests and finds them annoying. (Quite the opposite of Haruka). She specializes in POkemon Battles and has a wild side in her since she is Professor Birch's daughter.
