Anyway, some pics.

#1- A month ago I found this Japanese fanclub devoted to, what a coinsodence, to Mudkip and Kirlia. So I visited them again and drew on their oekaki. It doesn't look as good as my other oekaki's since I didn't have much time to work on it.
#2- not RKG, but shows how well I use colored pencils. I drew da NU Pogeymans! lolololol
#3- I drew the Garde in under a minute, which explains the offbeat hair. He became a waiter of some sort.
#4- kohei was talking about this. He said how the boyfriend Kirlia from the other pic should be a bit more masculine. The result....

I like your pictures as always. The first one is pretty funny, with the Kirlia yelling and stuff.

During one of my routine of surfing the 'net. I drew an oekaki picture of Kirlia and Garde in American style uniforms. The first one with an actual background! Oh no!

Oh, kohei, this has nothing to do with Garde and company, but what's Counter Strike? I'm intrigued by that link, but it does me no good if I don't know what I'm getting myself into. Counter-Strike, or CS as it is more known, is an online FPS game. However, the site at the link is not the CS game site. It's rather a CS inspired anime-style visual novel (titled White Memories) promoting the new Japanese CS, called Counter-Strike NEO. The visual-novel it self has some blood and violence, but mostly it's about moral conflict etc...

but the thing is that it's in Japanese... thats why I'm making an English translated summary for a friend of mine.

This club isn't alone on the "forever on page 3" disease. Whenever I check on my club it's always on page 3. I mean always.

As for the members, yes, you are right. I hate how people are all like "Hay, kan I jion? I wuv Misty" and then they fall off the earth after that. Members are what keep the clubs alive. It would be a miracle when Umbreon_Espeon comes back with the corny one-liner "I'm back! Did ya miss me?".

Anyways, as promised more merchandice. Fill free to hit me on the head with a newspaper if these where posted already.

#1- you already seen this before, but what you saw earlier was the "clear" version. Presenting the solid, "normal" version!
#2- some sooper nifty keychains.
#3- a shirt for a young boy. For some reason, Gardevoir was randomly thrown in.
#4- I seriously hope this comes over to the US. The set consisted of the Kanto final starters, Clefairy(or was it 'fable?), and Kirlia. Strange combo, huh? This was the thing Kine would probably like. :P
#5- a coin purse. I think Ralts was on the other side.

Part of a dream come true! I need that plushie and will pay anything for it! I'm going to start going back to Japanese auctions, and while Celga's expensive, it's worth it. Moreso than any Kirby plushie I've ever attained (except for the elusive Dream Land 3 series... I don't expect anyone to know about that but I would literally go homocidal just to get those... it's the only plushie set with Kine for the most part).

I'll buy 2! Heck, if they're cheap I'll buy 3!! Considering these are UFO catchers, it'll be hard as heck to regularly attain.

The shirt is also cool, now I know more Japanese-English pokemon names (if I didn't already know. So it IS Nyarth...weird), plus that's the cutest looking official Sirnight I've seen to date.

3000 yen is about 30 dollars, give or take... I think. Hmmm, bet it's gonna get costly on auctions.

But I love that last one, with the Swampert Trio vs. Weis Ritter. The way people organize they're toys sometimes...

they have a small ralts and i think a kirlia too. but i dout there is going to be a gardevoir plushy.
as in hong kong, have you tried festival walk? the last time i was there they had them in toys r us for like 6$ they are medium sized so i think its a good buy.

Wow, sounds like you'll be doing a lot of traveling, eh? Hope ya have fun with that. Oh, but I'm sorry to hear about the robbed thing. If it makes you feel any better, we've been robbed too, just this past weekend between Friday night and Saturday morning.

Briefly, all they did was get into the garage and took the bike and lawnmower (but oddly, nothing else =/), but the joke's on them because the lawnmower was crap and reminds me of Housya's laptop (constantly lagging and stopping at random intervals, such an old mower...) and the bike was falling apart and rusty. I only used it to get to work since I don't have a car, but the walk is still 10 minutes. No big deal.

Anyway, why'd I come here? Oh right.

I don't think that this club is unpopular, however, in observance I've noticed there's two types of successful clubs concerning PC:

A. A club where everyone is practically
Random user 1: "I liek cheez"
Random user 2: "OMG me 2 olol"
Random user 1: "lolololololol ^_^ :) ;) "
Random user 2: "rofl a/s/l"

...because they are always on doing back and forth conversations about noting/something trival/obvious. Plus, with everyone like that, the club's very active.

B. A club started by someone who has a following of groupies. It doesn't matter WHAT the club is, it could be the Neo Nazi club, and it'd still be active just because so and so created it.

This club, well, it's popular as Gardevoir is a popular Pokemon, but there's a lot of falling out as most of us (if not all) don't fit into the above catagories.

And that's the story.

Toys> Well, nuts, since that's confermed as a crane catcher plushie, the chances of it coming over to the US is very slim. I saw maybe 1 or 2 plushes on ebay. Of course, I don't feel confortable telling daddy-dear about paying $25 for a plushie. Maybe in a few months time, the price will hopfully go down to 15$. Travel> I never really stepped of the North American continant. The farthest I've been was in northwest Canada and Alaska. My grandparents travel everywhere, but rarly bring us anywhere because of school. :dead:

Clubs> Those both sounds strangely like you-know-who's kabillions of clubs. One would post a picture of Ash and everyone else would be like "Ash: I wasn't making out with you-know-who! Honest!" or they would worship her as some goddess.

I have good news too :) Pokesho has a long webcomic called Sirnight Experience (http://www.pokesho.com/dc_sana/sana.html) up. The quality is god-like and the story is great!


Story summary(in case someone reads it):
A Gardevoir in her mid-30's has a huge crush on Latios. However, she thinks she is too old (as she speaks with Bakujirou, a Typhlosion police officer/old class mate).

Next day, she goes and buys PokeBlocks to make her look beautiful. But instead, she is befriended by a Cacturne who says she can make her look younger by sucking out experience points (which apparently ages Pokemon).

After looking 10 years younger, she tries to go ask Latios out, but she findsout he has a "1st stage evolution complex" (a little like a lolita complex).

The Gardevoir gets more experience points sucked out, and turns back to a Kirlia, and succesfuly asks Latios out. But Latios gets beaten up by his other girlfriends, and has to goto hospital (Pokemon Centre). There, the Kirlia is told her body age is dangerously higher than she is suppost to be.

After being told this, the Kirlia goes to the Cacturne's office, and is told that sucking out exp. will only weaken stats, but doesn't wind back age. Raged, Kirlia tries to defeat the Cacturne, but she is too weak, and loses. The Gulpins start sucking out even more exp, and the Kirlia finally turns back to a Ralts. With the sucked out exp, the Cacturne starts making Rare Candy to make millions.

Then in the nick of time, Bakujirou comes to the rescue, and beats the Cacturne. He returns the Rare Candy to the Ralts so she can become a Gardevoir once again.


... wow, long -_- (btw, the last thing Bakujirou says is "Get off... the red thing is starting to hurt my back")

kohei: oh... my... GOD!! That comic made my heart skip a beat! I feel weak all of a sudden, but this... THIS is what I would've wanted in a Pokemon cartoon series! Sirnight is really really cute here, and interaction with so many other Pokemon... just...wow. I'm at a loss for words. I'm going to bookmark it, save it on the harddrive, and print multiple copies of it!!

It's just to bad they appeared to have stole my Sirnight character's name (possibly, I thought I saw it somewhere)... oh well. It's just coincedental. I can still use mine and no one would think any differently.

Both of youse: So the oekaki idea sounds good? We'll have to schedule something, then. Time doesn't really concern us as one can always pickup at any given point. We just need to decide what oekaki and when to start.

1. Can there be more than 2 layers (layer 0 and layer 1)?
2. Is there a blur tool?
Since I can't read Japanese, I'm afraid to mess around in fear that I'll delete/screw up my picture, and it's completely not undo-able.

One more thing. We need to figure out how to approach it. Should it have a particular theme/setting, a comic of some sort, or just a free for all?

Well, I'll let someone else have a shot at it, especially since I also bought Cacnea and May's Bulbasaur. I almost bought Mudkip, Skitty, and Chikorita, but decided against it. I really wanted them all though, they're all so cute.

Once I work up enough money (AKA my next paycheck) and Kirlia's still there... BAM! Number 2!

And the best part is, I don't have to pay a courier (sp?) service such as Celga to get it from a Japanese auction (heck, they didn't even have the plushie on Yahoo! Japan auctions).

@kohei- I agree, Soara is a god at art(or comics). You know how I told ya'll Garde was going stale on me? Well reading the comic made it fresher in a way.When I first "read"(aka looked at the pictures :P) it, the applet screwed up and I could only go up to page 6 of it. I liked how s/he gave the pokemon some personifaction. Overall, it was very well done. :) Now I wished Nintendo would ease up on the doujin market for Pokemon, so then there would be more doujins and maybe some dedicated to RKG or somthing...

Plushies> Ehh, I was thinking that maybe $25 isn't that much. I paid $20 for a single manga volume 4 years ago. Well, I found out it was a reprint from the year before...:\ Geez, Kine, don't be so greedy, at least save a few for the other unfortunate people *coughmecough*.

In a slight "omg me 2 olol" moment, I would have to say that the comic gave me a bit of a renewed appreciation for Sirnight, much like when I first found the site. It'll drop down to just Kirlia again, though. It always does.

I'll have to get back to you on the computer specs, but I think the fifties diner idea would work (well, I did it before). I don't really care, though. I'll go with anything so long as it isn't blatantly risque or extremely violent.

Thats where the layer merging function comes handy... select the layer you wish to merge to, then select the merge area, and voila! All done!

Mouse drawing? That's nigh impossible. Took me nearly an hour to draw a couple of lines correctly in Flash, I just gave up.

You could always go back and catch another. Well, it's easier if you have Emerald. If you've got a Modest pokemon with synchronize, then you can catch a modest Ralts. Of course, I used a Ralts like that to catch another, and the first was a trade over (just so I could get one that would be 'Original Trainer "Emerald" Patrick').

I had to leave behind some of my stuff, like my stereo stystem, my scanner/printer thing, dolls, and manga/DVDs at home in the upstairs bathroom. I don't even know how bad off my house is. :(

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that they (the guys working on the anime) are not going to make anything I want, so that's what comics and gifs and stuff are for.

Sugimori's art for Trainers and humans is pretty good, now that I think of it. And it sets the standards for the Pokemon themselves...but... I dunno.

I'll put it this way.

For certain Pokemon like Wobbuffet or Gulpin, I haven't seen too many people improve much upon the original. In that case, than Sugimori's art is fine. If the design for the character also has a certain "energy" to it, then it's usually good in that case, too (such as Pikachu and Meowth's art).

If, however, the style can be improved upon greatly (like a lot of Kirlia/Sirnight art I've seen), then I tend to sway more towards fan art, especially since I have yet to see any amazing official pics/screenshots of Sirnight.

For the record, the new art for Fire Red/Leaf Green is amazing, and the best he's done so far...even though Nidorina still looks the same ;__; (heck, all the Nidos did... why must they continually be screwed over?).

Ok, Bad news bear post.

As with SPP, I underestimated how fast old threads get bumped off to make room for new ones. After searching some keywords, I figured it was deleted to make room for the threads like "Will Ash's Butterfree come back?". -_-;;
The guy said he was going to remake the thread, but no dice as that was a few weeks ago.

I could give you the sounds I have, but they are on my old laptop. That which is 80 miles away from me and I won't go home until next tuesday.

To make up such a depressing post, I'll post some of my (non-depressing) MSN doodles.

Yeah, though it's a bit dated now. I've gotten used to drawing Gardevoir at this point, and the coloring's a bit different for the Ralts line.

Btw, when the ghost Pokemons are harrasing Garde (Dusclops used Lick! Sableye used Constrict! Banette used Gust!), Magneton tells them that the Gardevoir they are sexually harrasing is a male, and the three ghosts die of too much damage. lol.

Well, if Garde's supposed to be male, why does s/he still have breasts? Unless Magneton was saying a lie about his/her gender to stop the ghosts, then having a male Gardevoir with breasts (and looking very feminine) is making Soara look very narrow minded IMO. Anyway, that was my peeve of the comic.
