That link leads to a random fan-fic with a Ralts/Gardevoir as the main character, its not as funny as it is random :P (I'm not really the main author of it so i'm not promoting myself/spamming. I did write an important part of it though, so they used my name :P) I have been writing random fan-fics about other animes/games but that's actually my first one on pokemon... I'll try writing something better than that though - Gardevoirs are cute, so they're the best subject to write about :P

EDIT: I wrote the Ralts part of that story - in somewhat a hurry. But I'll fix it and update it soon.

I do accept criticisms about that random story so i can write better ones.

Uhhh.........Spamming means putting in useless messages to raise post count, and another definition that spam is a food. You're doing choice #1: Raising post count.

I kinda like the colored art better, I can't see squat in the middle, but I can see some things out of it. I catched the theme for some, and...........Oh my............I think it's PG-13 because of the Kirlia, right? I can see her, but I can't see anything else. Just a bunch of lines. That's why I perfer colored pictures. Can't see it.

On another note, I have an idea of drawing Gardevoir, Kucheat, and Jirachi as the forms of people you can be on Runescape: Mage, Warrior, and Archer. The question is: I have Gardevoir as the Mage, but who should be the warrior or archer?

And I get what you're trying to say. That random story is about a Ralts, who eventaully EVOLVED into a Gardevoir, so it can't be spam :P. If you're interested then have a LOL at it, its not long, only about 3 or 4 A4 pages. I wrote it with a mate just because we're so bored, so we came up with that idea...lol. I'll try writing something by solely myself to avoid random confusions... (I wrote the first part of it when the character was a Ralts, and I did the final 2 paragraphs or so, he did the rest.)

it's NOT my idea, although I'm the one who explained what is meant by "ex" (I can't think of any other pre/suffix atm... I know i need to change it or it's TOO random... if u can suggest one then i'll consider it.) Just dont take it too seriously...
And that IS how you spell Feint Attack - "Feint" means "to deceive or mislead" and that's what the attack does. Faint has similar meanings but it's not precise, it's more often used as "loss of consciousness"... BTW they spell it as "Feint" on those trading cards, and i think that they might've made a typo in the games' texts... but I don't know so i won't make further comments on it. (Maybe its just the way they prefer it lol.)

EDIT: I didnt state the level because i didnt want it to look too game-ish, as its supposed to be a NARRATIVE STORY not an INTERACTIVE one...

EDIT: Nah, I think im better off sticking with -ex (for now), because from the trading cards ppl will get the "overpowered" idea, considering they have 120+ HP and l33t attacks, and they count as 2 normal pokemon each. But if you can think of some really good ones then i'll replace the -ex, because i want to be CREATIVE!!! :P

I'll try writing some other stories ON MY OWN, so i dont have to listen to my mates funny (and sometimes, STUPID) ideas, lol. To be honest, i hate writing just the intro (more than that, but still...) and the ending - its way harder than writing the whole story considering i had to read through everything he wrote to add a 2 paragraph conclusion LOL...

I might write a sequel to that story ON MY OWN :), so keep watching that site for my random submissions (although they r slow to update, but they certainly WILL, every 1 or 2 weeks ><)...

EDIT: it was MY idea of putting a Meowth in that story though - my mate was about to put a random Abra instead but it's just STUPID (Abra's too big!) and it won't work! LOL...

to me, gardevoir should have been played by a different person... she sounded constipated! GAR-.....de.......vua! then kirlias voice constantly changed and ralts talking at the end ruined it!

still this was the best one. jesse just looked wrong and meowth was very fat for a kirlia

yeah, LOL, it was the VERY FIRST time that we heard the pokedex's entry about Meowth - it was hilarious though... sleeps for most of the day... LOL!

Actually, Meowth's made quite a comedic Kirlia - he tries to stand his fat body on his toes ROFL!... BUT: Jessie looked SO WRONG!!! i mean, she tries to disguise as a Gardevoir but it wasnt even funny... (Meowth was FUNNY, but Jessie was just RANDOM!) especially the bit when she thrashes Meowth for not collecting coins for them... so random it wasnt funny at all >< (she'd be somewhat funny if she wasnt in that Gardy custume...) - if Gardy was violent like she was, then Max would've got pwned when he refuses to give Ralts to him(?), so Jessie was such an INSULT to our cute and cuddly little Gardy... >< (I feel sorry for him... LOL!)

EDIT: Just a little side note - I reckon James would have made a WAY BETTER Gardevoir (or rather an overgrown Kirlia) with his hair style, LOL! :P

Agreed. Gardevoir's voice wasn't so great. As far as Ralts "talking" at the end: this didn't hurt the episode, if you ask me. After all, Ralts is a psychic-type. Other Poke'mon have spoken english via telepathy, such as Lugia, Mewtwo, Lapras...and I don't know of any others.

Um... I think his voice was all right, considering he's a FULLY EVOLVED Pokemon, not like Ralts and Kirlia, so his voice SHOULD show some MATURITY, like the voice of other stage 2 pokemons.

BUT: It'll be WAY COOLER if that Gardevoir could SPEAK like those Mewtwo/Lugia/Entei/Jirachi in the movies...

IMO the Mewtwo's (or Lugia's) voice fits him the best, because he is a Psychic type, and he's also tall and "intimidating" in a way in that episode...

Or if that Gardy was supposed to be a girl one then I'll say Lapras' voice (the female one in the Xmas special Jynx episode) fits her fine, because Gardy showed some "modesty" (not attacking like Kirlia did)...

EDIT: IMO Kirlia was the cutest one in that episode..... he was so cute when trying to ask for Ralts from Max.... pity his big bro (sis) had to pull him back... :(

EDIT2: Hey, was that Gardevoir supposed to be the big bro or sis? (Put Jessie aside!) Because from his voice it was really hard to tell... I know that little Kirlia had to be an ADAMANT male from the way he was acting, lol...

i agree with you solarys if gardevoir could talk, that would have been good but ralts voice was to high so i guess gardevoir will have a manish voice while it is a girl, there are some scenes that makes kirlia look fat is it just me???

Problem solved, Poliwhirl. Your avatar is not an animated .GIF. In fact, it appears to be a JPEG image. How do I know this? JPEGs are almost always 24-bit image files, just like your avatar is right now. Plus, Internet Explorer defaulted to saving the image as a JPEG. You may have exported the animation as a picture file by mistake.

I just ran a few more experiments. The image is, in fact, a JPEG, but with a .GIF extension.

I definitely think the ralts, kirlia and gardevoir were definitely female. Anyway... bored, so I branched out an evolution between each of the male and female. Personally, I made the male Gardevoir which will be Cervante, very old looking and looks a bit sinister while Gardenia, the female, looks very youthful and pretty gentle. Oh yes, I need something better to do, though drawing Kirie from Girls Bravo is not an improvement. XD

Ah-ha! I know what I would do! I'd make acts of kindness to my Pokemon, and the like. I'd probably set up a camp, use manners, etc., etc.................just all in a day's work to confront a Ralts. Truely the rarest of the wild, too. I hope in later games Kirlia can be a wild Pokemon. But that'd make it more common............how about Ralts and Kirlia on the same and only route? That'd work.......I think........

OK, here is my idea:

1. Get a random pokemon that has IMPRISON and TELEPORT (um... is there one?), use Imprison on the wild Ralts so he cant Teleport.

Attracting a Ralts, eh? Hmmm...that might require some extensive research. Acts of kindness do seem like an effective method. There's also the unlikely scenario of rescuing a Ralts. Either way, should one be able to find and capture a Ralts, you've got a life-long friend at your side.

Well, I've got a bloody large video to encode. I've found that capturing images from video files on your computer does not work very well. I need artwork to study, so, I have to re-encode "Do I hear a Ralts?" from DivX to QuickTime: not an easy task since QuickTime's H.264 takes a long time to do it's job. After the movie is encoded, it will be easy to extract the proper frames where Ralts, Kirlia and Gardevoir are present. That will make it much easier for me to draw up some comics. So, if my calculations are correct:...I should be able to begin work on Monday, as long as my computer doesn't explode or something.

OK, I've finished another random fan-fic. I've done this one solely by myself so i dont have to use my mate's random ideas, because mine are just random enough :)...

This time its about a strange shiny male Gardevoir who was born with some real peculiar abilities. And he falls in love with a cute female one (the one from my other story, coz i cant be bothered creating a whole new character... LOL)... It doesnt have that much to do with my other story tho.

It might not make too much of a sense to some of u because my story is supposed to be a reflection of a TWISTED or BROKEN mind. there is nothing really funny about it (depends on how u look at it tho...) Anyhow u might think its sarcastic - well, thats the sort of person i am, so... lol.

Maybe Gardevoir has the 5-panel skirt in Poke'mon XD as a way to simplify the 3D model. Just an estimate. I don't know much about animating polygons, but one thing I do know is that the more complex an animation is, the more work it takes to create it.

How to upload artwork to your computer? I suspect you talking about drawings done by hand, eh? You will need a scanner for that. Hopefully, you have access to one. If you don't have a scanner, there is one other option, but it's quite messy: taking a picture of your drawing with a digital camera, but getting the lighting and angles right is not easy, unless you have some experience with photography.

As far as you first piece of artwork goes, why not try a picture of Kirlia and Mawile in a playground or something like that? Just a suggestion.

If you have a scanner and aren't sure how to use it or want some suggestions about what picture format to use and what quality level to use, just ask me. I have loads of experience with these kinds of things.

I think not) against the bad guys so they won't get away. Then I imagined Gardevoir coming as a comet toward me out of the sky..............creepy. Then some thoughts about a possible game idea............chances are they won't make it.

I showed up as a Dusclops (1 of my favorite pokemon, 2nd to Meowth - i was 2 big for a Meowth ><, and i couldnt think of anything else that works - i was going to do Kirlia but im a dude... u no the rest lol) at the year 12 school custume party and that was so funny...rofl..

All u do is make a Dusclops mask (use with 1 big hole as the eye and put a red reflective transparent plastic sheet over it, and wrap your body with some 10cm wide gray-black ish bandages (u can buy them from pharmacies cheap, they're like $5.99NZD = $4.50USD for 10 meters. normally 20m will be enough if u dress in black...), and find urself a torn gray - black sheet as the cape. Oh, and a pair of gray gloves as well.

if u like, and ur hair is long enough, wear your hair like the Dusclops' head - its easy with mousse and stuff...

BTW when i walked in with my random Dusclops custume some chicks freaked out - that was some roffleness... lol - Oh and i actually won a 2nd prize for "originality of design", rofl!!!

The only thing about it is that its quite hard to see well through only 1 eye hole in the middle, but if make it the right size, it not impossible.

- A few "Pikaky gums" (based off Japanese "Pinky gums").

- Meowth at the oden stand is reference to Japanese Pokemon Yellow TV advert.

- The sake bottle says "Utsudon" in kanji -> Utsudon is Weepinbell's Jap. name.

- The pharmacy store's name is "Kanata" -> name of that purple haired girl with Grumpig.

- Nokutus-chan says: "haa hee hu he ho". This is reference to Baikinman, a character of an old anime series/book series called "Anpanman".
Baikinman always says "haa hee hu he ho" when he's in a good mood.

- Latios has 12 "sisters" (including Latias and Sana).
This is reference to the anime/manga/game series "Sister Princess". Didn't notice this :p

That's pretty good for a first attempt. Except for the claw-like fingers (And I'm pretty sure the legs are white), this drawing is right on target. Certainly better than my first few shots. As for my specs, I have an AMD Sempron 3000+ cpu (64-bit 1.8GHz), 1GB RAM, Windows XP Pro with SP2, and Macromedia Flash MX 6.0 (I think that's right).

Yep, AVG Free as my antivirus and Microsoft AntiSpyware as my antispyware. ^^; Yeah.... I go for the freebies here. ^^;

Okay. I did not have much success with those programs. Norton Antivirus and Webroot Spysweeper picked up all kinds of stuff that those programs missed, but I also suspect that spyware isn't the problem.

Okay, how about you go to Macromedia's site and check for patches and updates for your software. As far as I know, Flash is not optimized for use on 64-bit processors.

Not quite. My Doctorate in Pokeology is rather outdated. I stumbled on one of the questions. I pretty much know everything from the beginning to Pokemon Silver and Gold, then I know a lot about stuff from Poke'mon XD and onward. That's a considerable hole in my education.

And yes, the top 10 cutest Poke'mon does need some work. They are cute, but some of them are more...irritating than others.

I remember playing the first Dragon Warrior. I even plugged a Game Genie into it. There was only one problem: when I put in the codes, I started a new game and had rescued the princess and failed a task I didn't even start already. Pretty crazy, eh?

As far as Valentine's Day goes, I almost tried drawing Kirlia with wings and a bow and arrows with hearts for the arrow heads, but, Chrono Trigger dashed that plan. Maybe next year, or when I get my schedule back in order.

I've got a few crazy ideas to try this weekend, like making a short stop-motion animation using the various toys and junk that I've got lying around. A Gardevoir figure would be a nice edition, but at 2 inches tall, Dr. Eggman dwarfs it.

In other news, I just beat the league on Emerald (took me long enough, ne? ^^; ). Psyora (My Gardevoir. I couldn't think of another nickname at the time, and it kinda stuck ^^; ) kicked their butts, and levelled up from level 57 to 60. :P Also got my Flygon levelled up from 48 to 50. ^^ Last battle was tough, 'coz I done the stupid thing and forgot to take any PP restoring items with me. Fortunately I had 1 of those berries that done the trick. ^^ Thunderbolted my way into being the Champion :P *huggles Psyora* Yayness!
I've never been that excited over beating the league before... 'xcept for the first time on Red.

Most of the league was eliminated by Psyora alone, and I've not even taught her the Fire Punch or Ice Punch yet. Twas tough in places but I got it done. ^^ Flygon filled in for a few odd battles. I'm kinda lousy at raising a team ^^; I only have 2 that are over level 40, both mentioned (Flygon lv50, Psyora lv60). I just tended to train Psyora and noone else ^^; Then started training Flygon later on, after the 6th gym, mainly for 2on2 battles originally. ^^; Gonna raise up some more pokémon to give my team a better balance soon.

I named my Gardevoir Caria and my Mawile Lynda. Here's why:

I was looking for some *coughchickenteacough* sites and found some VERY interesting stories.........One of them was about a Gardevoir named Caria and a Mewtwo............Chicken Miasma, the person I talked aobut a few pages ago, made a story about Luigi's Mansion, only the characters were Pokemon. Well, you know how you had to suck the curtains back to capture that woman in the first hallway? That's Lyd(i)a. CM used Gardevoir to replace her. I forgot to put in the 'I' when I was using the name, but I go with it. Why I came up with Mawile, I don't know. It was because of this pic:

I know a good way to get Battle Points: Battle Factory, if your Pokemon suck, go there and improve your skills with random Pokemon. But in your case, I would try going for Tower, Pyramid, or Palace.

Doppleganger music, there's two, this is the second.

If Nintendo made a game where you are the Pokemon battling, 3D, and were fighting the Magma or Aqua leaders, I vote this be the music for that.

Don't forget that MIDI is still a very effective way to deliver music and is still much more efficient, as far as file sizes go, than any audio format available. Since MIDI audio isn't compressed, as long as you have a decent computer and a decent Wavetable Synth, your MIDI audio is crisp and clear. I've come across too many bad MP3's, MP4's, M4A's and WMA's over the years. Also, keep in mind that synthesizers have improved considerably over the years. Most of the music on Gamecube is still MIDI, but some synthesizers have more sounds available than other. The General MIDI standard, for exmaple, has 128 instruments and 10 drum kits, while more modern synths, like Yamaha XG, for example, have over 500 instruments and over 15 drum kits, so there's plenty of room for variety. Some synthesizers have better quality instruments as well. Microsoft and Roland GS over all, don't sound very good compared to other synths like WinGroove and Yamaha XG. MIDI is also easier to create since you can control all the aspects. If a musician plays a wrong note during a recording, you may have to start the recording over. If there's a bad note in a MIDI sequence, it can be changed with the push of a button.

Take it from me. I've been working with this kind of stuff for years.

Now that I'm done rambling on, time to do some more polishing on my project. Kudos for anyone who can read all of this and understand it.

True. (yay, kudos to me ^0^). Whenever I'm doing something with, say, RPG Maker XP, I always prefer to use MIDIs over MP3s, not just coz of the file sizes but also since it's uncompressed, you can do more with it, like altering the pitch, speed, even which instruments are used, if you have a decent midi editing program.

Ah! Kudos indeed! Say, what Wavetable Synthesizer do you use? I use WinGroove since it's better than Microsoft and Roland GS and it runs under Windows XP. Yamaha does not have a version that functions properly under XP...sigh...
