The tree looks very flat and unnatural. For the fusions you should pay attention to the outlines. Some are quite misplaced. Others have too light colours.

I see your scratched OW's hair is suffering from pillow shading. You also vary how much of the hair you highlight depending on whether it's the front, side or back. Mostly I mean the side view which has too large an area in highlight. The front and back sprites have a little hair sticking out the sides, but the side view doesn't really give the hint that the hair is anything but smooth and straight except for the 'spike' of hair.

The full sized sprite of that same character is also missing any shading on the face. That makes it look flat rather than round like heads should be. Adding a little shading, a pixel or two, can also give the hint of a nose and make the face more detailed. I'm also not to keen on how you did the hands. It's not really necessary to show the gaps between the fingers/knuckles as it exaggerates the shape and size of the hands and forces you to either put in all the fingers and make it too large or, as you did, only make some of the fingers to keep the hand the right size. On a sprite that size I think it's okay to draw the fingers (minus the thumb) as though they were touching rather than splayed.
