Apparently I have started checking my email, since we may not get the hack back again. So a reminder, if you see spam, flames, or duplicate threads, click the report button on them. We’ll either deal with it, or send you a PM explaining why we aren’t if it’s already been resolved. Hopefully I can keep this up. <_<

No no, the little button with the ! in the middle of a sign. Doesn’t affect their rep, it just sends a report to the mods to check the post.

It will only be on posts others make. Upper-right hand corner on the top style, bottom-left on the “left” style, I believe.

That’s not bad rep, that’s report. Rep is just rep—you choose positive or negative after you click the rep button.

Well we used to have a hack that would send them to our PM boxes, making it easier to check. We lost that, and none of the mods ‘cept Erica checked their email, so lots of reports were going unanswered. I’ve decided to keep up on mine now though, so we want the spam to be reported again.

PMs are not annoying to me, it's a lot quicker to send a PM to me then me going to go check my email (but MSN is faster then PM if you got my MSN XD).

I’ve got Outlook 2003 sitting in the tray. Pretty quick to me. XP And I got like 12 emails from reports this morning. That would be a lot of PM space, and annoying. PMs are better for stuff like flirting with the computer forum mod~

Yay the button is back. Personally, when I found spam I would have to find an admin or the mod of that forum and then PM and such and it just took a lot of time and patience, so I am happy this is back up sorta.

It does seem like it is becoming a bit of a problem for staff members because it is filling up their email accounts. Is there any other better way anyone can think of?

I think it works fine, so long as you check your email regularly. Don’t let that stop you from reporting.

I’d like a userCP option to disable the PM or email or both part, for those who only need notification one way or none.
