Random topic I pulled out when I was watching the FFVIII Libari Fatali (or somewhat) Clip.
if you dont know what FMV or CG is you can easily take out your frequently played FF game and watch the intro... Or in n00bie words; the part of the game where the graphics are SO GOOD XD.

I consider Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, a really long CG clip XD

The one in FF10 where Rikku takes her clothes off in front of tidus...I just KEPT on CLICKING (X)!

*gets slapped*

I don’t remember enough of them to answer properly. T-T
I liked the one in X-2 where they completely disregard the story and make a bunch of unanswered questions…

Oh wait, that was the whole game, my bad. X had the prettiest ones that blended with the cutscenes best, but none really stand out.

the Red carpet scene in X or whatever it was..... (the one when Yuna is gonna get Married with Seymour)

EDIT: I just noticed this being my 1000th post!!!!

In FFIX when Black Waltz III attacks the cargo ship. Easily my favourite FMV of the entire series.

You're all so uncultured :P
Xenosaga Episode I's ending is by far the most gorgeous piece of CG ever, in my opinion. The animation, the beautiful music and the emotional attachment though, that's what makes it pwn as the best cutscene.

It was about FF CG animation, not any other game.

Wow, thank you for informing me of that, I didn't realise!
Surely the first line of my post was clear enough to indicate that WOW, I already KNEW that fact.
But I still think XS is better, so get over it :P

In FF IX, the battle between Alexander and Bahamut!

I think FFVII where the Weapons first come out. Nowadays, it isn't that impressive, but back in the day I had a save data right at that point, so I could just run up and see the scene any time I wanted to. And I did, at great length...

I remember seeing that scene for the first time and thinking, 'and we're supposed to kill them HOW??'!!

Hm, of course the beginning and ending sequences of FFVIII were awe-inspiring. Same with Black Waltz 3 attacking the Cargo Ship in FFIX. And last but not least, the ending scene of FFX was simply beautiful, and was tear jerking. So was the normal ending of FF X-2.

*Wonders why the heck does Sawah tell Soph not to go off topic in another thread when Soph was on topic, then Sawah goes off talking about Xenosaga, in a Final Fantasy!!! thread* -_-;;

Anyway, like Jade I like the ending ending scene in Final Fantasy X the best. It's sad and has a great song and all. It has to by my fav out of the FF games I have played.

In FF VIII when Quistis used the gatling gun to shoot down the huge robot before it got to Squall.

Actually, given this thread is about FMV's Andy, I was far more on-topic than your immature little outburst there.
Stay on topic please, kthx.

Well Sawah FF = Final Fantasy. Read the thread title and it says "Favourite FF FMV/CG Animation". Or do I have to get the thread starter to say this thread is about FF.

It asks what your favourite FF FMV is.
My reply, in humour suggests that I didn't really aprpeciate any of them (hence, you're so uncultured), but I did however find XYZ game to be of my standards.
This is a perfectly acceptable response.
"Whats your favoruite car?"
"Well, I don't really have a favourite car, but I -do- like this motorbike, for these reasons"
It's still on topic, see?
Now read my post and you'll see that it's pretty much the same thing.
Goes to show if you use your head, you can save some embarrasment.

Actually you were talking about random other games when, if you look, Andy mentioned FF FMVs after his outburst.

You mentioned nothing of your favorite, so you are in fact off-topic (if you don't have a favorite then don't start posting about other games).

And, yeah i also like the Black Waltz III cutscene. I'm a Black Waltz fan...soo yeah.

Read the post above yours, Shadow.
It puts things in much simpler terms for you people who seems to have just a little trouble understanding. Hope it helps!

Perhaps you should read out posts... You mentioned nothing of FFX, you just commented on other people and a completely random game. THAT'S OFF-TOPIC.

This is a perfectly acceptable response.
"Whats our favoruite car"
"Well, I don't really have a favourite car, but I -do- like this motorbike, for these reasons"
It's the same thing.Cars and games are two different things. This thread is about FF meaning it's not about any other game. I don't care if the other games has FMVs this is about Final Fantasy. Let me spell it out for you F i n a l F a n t a s y, not X e n o s a g a.
I hope that is within your range of understanding things Sawah.

How is it different to a person starting a thread saying
What is your favourite car?
And then someone replying that they don't like cars, but instead like motorbikes?

Anyway, I'm not wasting anymore time here.
I'm just gonna stop posting about games, cause people always argue with me when they've got no valid point, and then when I'm right, they acuse my lover of playing favourites.
I bet if it was someone ELSE I told off in another thread, and not Soph, Arcy would have made no post to start this whole argument.
Makes you wonder who really IS playing favourites.

Sawah wasn't really off-topic guys. I guess that some people didn't get the "You're all so uncultured" part of her statement, but surely the smilie following could be enough indication for you guys to consider the possibility of her trying to be a little humorous at times.

Saying you like motorbikes isntead os fine, but going on and elaborating on motorbikes is going off-topic. You could have just said "I don't like any FF FMV" but you went on to talk about a different game, not associated with the topic.
Anyway, I'm not wasting anymore time here.

We do have valid points, you just automatically ignore them. And fine, I don't want you here in Other Games, all you've done here is bash everyone else's opinions and automatically assume we're saying them as facts and try to prove them false by disregarding all our points as "fanboy love" or "kiddie posts," thus sparking flames.
I bet if it was someone ELSE I told off in another thread, and not Soph, Arcy would have made no post to start this whole argument.

Hmm who's playing favorites? Let's see, the only reason I can ever see you were modded is because you sucked up to certain staff members. I see certain admins playing favorites since other staff just now noticed you have Other Chat (when they were never informed on this topic they're supposed to discuss).

She was off-topic. She was blabbering about Xenogears in a FINAL FANTASY thread. She never once mentioned Final Fantasy in her post.

Of course you all DO realize arguing over this is way more off-topic than any other posts. If you’ve got a problem with her, take it to PM. Next post that isn’t about an FF FMV gets deleted. Even if it’s Sawah’s.

Bickering about policy is NOT the same as FF FMVs. Take that argument out of this topic. And as I said, this is the last post about this matter_in_this_topic. Now back to FF FMVs.

Everyone here acts like it's the end of the bloody world if they don't prove themselves right...

It's just a message board kids, a fun little message board.

Thought I'd add, since people seem to want to bring in issues from all around the board in OG, if you've got a problem, find me on MSN. I'll be happy to discuss it there.

Kairi's point is mildy biased, but still right...getting back on topic would be good

Now that I think about it, I think my absolute favorite FF in-game movie has got to be the one where Squall and Rinoa are on the Ragnarok and their crashing down onto the world with Eyes on Me playing...cause I got a soft spot ;)

BOO ya!

Favorite in game FF movie for me is the one in FFX where Tidus and Yuna kiss, I like that one ^_^ XD. I watched it over and over and over and had an extra save file I made just before that bit so I can go back and watch it even after I have beat the game XD.

Flipping FMVs RK9man. I did that with my favorite too. I have an extra file right before you get on the cargo ship where you battle Black Waltz 3 and see the FMV of him chasing the ship XD
