What have you had better luck with?

Finding pokemon with 31 IVs in the wild or breeding pokemon with 31 IVs? I've been breeding Wynauts for about eight hours now and still the best IVs I've obtained thus far are...

Bashful Nature
HP = 28
AT = 20
DF = 28
SpA = 18
SpD = 24
Sp = 16

I'd like to get HP, DF and SpD up to 30 for the obvious reasons, but I feel as though I've hit a wall and can't those IVs above 28. I know three IVs are passed parentally and the other three are random, but I've never recieved a random IV higher than 14-16 it seems.

Should I continue playing the random game in breeding or go looking for a wild Wobbuffet with the IVs that I want? Your thoughts, please.

(Psh, and to think, I've got five more OU pokemon to raise this way, yikes)

I am dooing the same thing, only with Tyrouge. I have actualy got several 31 or 30 IVs (most of them Special Attack IVs, lol).

I would say, go for the breeding if you need any of wynaut's moves. Plus, once you get a good IV, you can potentialy breed it down the line.

Wynaut and Wobbuffet can only learn 7 moves between them, 3 of which can only be learned by Wynaut. They have no egg moves, TM or Move Tutor moves.

As for my own breeding, I have a Skarmory with the following IV stats:
HP: 28
Attack: 30
Defence: 24
Speed: 9
Special Attack: 16
Special Defence: 5

It might not have great Speed and Special stats, but the physical stats are what counts for Skarm, and he has those in spades, especially since he's been fully EV trained for HP, Attack and Defence.
