Finally, god. Thanks so much to Toothache, I appreciate it.
Scizor Level 5 (Impish Nature +Defense/-Sp. Attack)
(EVs will be: 252 Attack/252 Speed/6 Defense)
Silver Wind (currently has)
Baton Pass (currently has)
Steel Wing (going to buy the TM today)
Agility (just need to level.)
god, i really didn't realize how hard it was, i messed up at least 4 times and wasted over an hour trying to get the moveset down. now on to my next challenge... Dragonite with haze, jeez. =p

Getting Haze on Dragonite is easy - just breed with Ekans. Yes, Ekans is in the Dragon egg group. BTW, nice nature for Scizor, wonder what his IVs are...

i'm still unaware of how to calculate IVs, can i do it at level 5? and if so, care to give me a link to where to do it? =p

You need to know the EVs to get the IVs calculated. You can do it at level 5, but it will be less precise. You can experament by saving your game, useing Rare Candies on the pokemon, and recording its stats at higher levels, then turn off the GBA without saving it again, and put the stats into the IV calculator.

finally got my Dratini with a decent nature.
Dratini (Male/Timid Nature [+speed/-attack])

Haze
figure i'd need a hazer, right?
now that i have him and scizor, i'm debating on if i plan on using anymore of the pokemon from firered for my team. i want to restart and get squirtle and charmander so i can breed my tyranitar, but that's so much work since i have to finish the game and do all that crap to trade with my ruby copy.

Yeah, I know how much of a pain messing around with the starters can be. Thankfully, I traded for all 3 starters right at the start of Fire Red, so I have them all. Just means I've got to restart my Sapphire game at some point to get the other two Hoenn starters. I'll trade everything over to my Fire Red cart and restart, mostly cos I want a complete National Dex on Fire Red without cheating. And it means I get to do a lot of breeding :-D
