I've got two questions.
1 (I dunno if this goes here...): Where do they have tournaments? Any in Toms River NJ?
What would be a good fire/water/thunder deck? And would that work?

To find out where tournaments are being held your best bet would be to check the official pokemon tcg websites at www.pokemontcg.com (http://www.pokemontcg.com). As for your deck question, too many times in what you are asking for. You obviously could make a deck with those three types, but it most likely would not be good at all.

You could also check out PokeGym, the unofficial official source for everything Pokemon.

Don't try making a deck with more than 2 types (colorless is not a type). It won't turn out good.

You can make a deck with more then one type,just make sure they flow together.

The pokemontcg website is probably your best bet like PiroMunkie said and as for 3 color decks go there is nothing wrong with decks with any number of types provided you know how to use the deck. Here's the unlimited deck I was thinking of trying for fun, just remember I didn't try it yet so don't complain if it's not that good.

http://www.op.pokemon-tcg.com is the website to go to. STARSCREAM is right though you can make a deck with any amount of types in it and have it work as long as you have your wits about you. STARSCREAM the deck looks o.k. not much improvement is needed .
