Basic storyline hmm.. okay

It is about this 15 year old High School kid named Kurosaki Ichigo, he has the ability to see ghosts/spirits and he lost his Mother to something called a Hollow when he was younger. Hollows are creatures that serach for people with high spirit power and eat their souls. They don't have a soul themselves though because they had a big hole in their chest. Anyway, one day his family gets attacked by a hollow and he sees this Shinigame/Death God named Kuchiki Rukia, and why she is battling the hollow, she nearly loses and then attempts to give Ichigo half of her Death God powers, but he ends up taking all of it and then he becomes a Death God himself, well his Soul does anyway, and he now protects Spirits from hollow attacks and send them to the Soul Society, which is like Heaven so to speak.

I feel a little better but still kinda of icky.

Whitey-chan a.k.a Hitsugaya Toushiro, is the 10th squad captain, in the soul society, which is the place where the Shinigami live, besides Ichigo of course. His Zanpakutou is named Hyourinmaru which means "Ice Ring" and ofcourse his Zanpakutou, when released is of the Ice element, and he got the nickname Whitey-chan from a friend when he was younger.
