For me, it's Garfield. I like the humor in his comic strips, as well as the show.

Bagpuss FTW ;D
I've always liked Bagpuss mainly because he's 'the most important, the most beautiful, the most magical. Saggy cloth cat in the whole wide world'. That's such a great intro for a cat :3

It's Meowth for me, of course. Runners up include the cat from Darker than Black, Puss & Boots from Shrek, and who can forget Hobbes from Calvin & Hobbes.

Scourge from Warriors by Erin Hunter, He is heartless and a great fighter, thats what makes him awesome.
I also like The Cheshire Cat and Puss & Boots.

November 5th, 2010, 08:11 AM
I like warriors too, sorta, but my fave cat is the one from Lillian Jackson's Braum's mystery novels that have almost nothing to do with the cats, but Koko or Yum-yum, James Quillerin's cats that supposedly help the journalist 'solve' his mysteries.

Elite Overlord LeSabre™
November 5th, 2010, 09:42 AM
MAD Cat, Dr. Claw's cat from Inspector Gadget. So evil, and yet so often abused by Claw when he gets angry, lol

November 6th, 2010, 04:21 AM
Only one Warriors post? I'm surprised xD

If tigers are considered cats, then my all-time favorite cat would be Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes.

Other than that, I like Squirrelflight and Leafpool from the warriors series :3

I can't remember the name for the life of me and I'm much too lazy to look it up, but if you've ever seen An American Tail I liked the cat that befriended Fievel. Cute movie too if you ever feel like watching something animated.

There is a slight reason for my avatar being what it is. Chen, I don't feel like killing my lungs right now. But you're my favorite.

Buuuut, I also like Chrono's cat from Chrono Trigger: Unglued, which is an awesome Chrono Trigger flash.

And then Tom from Tom and Jerry. Unique in that half the time I hate him, and the other half I really, really like him.

Those three cats are awesome.

Akita
November 7th, 2010, 06:11 PM
Feathertail from Warriors: New Prophecy and Marie from The Aristocats.

And maybe the Cheshire Cat.

That would be about it.

The Pink Panther? Does he count? He's the closest I'll ever really get to liking a cat.

Meowth/Purugly.

But non-Pokemon related: Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat (:

Definitely Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes. A close second would be Sagwa the Siamese cat, haha.

Lewis Carroll's Cheshire Cat :)

November 24th, 2010, 01:34 AM
Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes, definitely. This figment of Calvin's imagination (or is it?) always cracked me up with his witty humor and the fact that he always tackles Calvin as he enters his home. God, I love those comic strips.

Tom from Tom & Jerry. That cat cracks me up :]

Barney.

Others like Top Cat are cool too :)

Hobbes, rivaled only by Kovu from Lion King II & Scar. Simba will always be a favorite, but Kovu was a badass Simba and that's just awesome.

Sweet Candace
February 28th, 2011, 04:32 PM
The king of the cats has to be Garfield, but Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes, Salem for Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Tom from Tom and Jerry are also up there. But it's Garfield, and then everyone else.

Aaaugh...this is so hard! My list of favorite felines include:

Leomon of Digimon (especially Adventure 01/02 and Tamers)
Saber-toothed Tigerzord and White Tigerzord of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers; Lion Galactabeast of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy; Yellow Lionzord of Power Rangers Ninja Storm; Red and White Tigerzords, Black Lionzord of Power Rangers Jungle Fury; Lion Hauler and Tiger Jet of Power Rangers RPM; Red Lion Foldingzord of Power Rangers Samurai

Garfield of Garfield
Tom of Tom and Jerry
Puss-in-Boots of Shrek
Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes
Meowth/Persian, Skitty, Choroneko/Lepardas and Amaress (http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/1808/pkmnblackwhitefakemonam.png) of Pokemon (and another Fakemon I can't recall atm)
Entei and Raikou of Pokemon (I call them Legendary Dogs because "dogs" sounds cooler, but they do exhibit physical feline features IMO)
Yoruichi of Bleach
Solembum of the Inheritance Series; Eragon
Sagwa and related characters of Sagwa The Chinese-Siamese Cat
Tigger of Winnie the Pooh (either a Tigger or whatever he is, he's feline enough for me)

The Cat In The Hat of The Cat In The Hat

Simba and Mufasa of The Lion King
Sylvester of Looney Tunes

Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland (I haven't read the book, watched either of the Disney movies, or played Kingdom Hearts...but from the little exposure I have with him, he seems like a decent cat).

Too many cats to decide! Hmm...top contenders would include Garfield, Tom, Leomon, Puss-in-Boots, Amaress, Entei, and Raikou (and the Cat Zords to an extent).

Either Sagwa, or Dongwa from Sagwa, The Chinses Siamese Cat, or Simba! >:D
Well... Maybe Gigi, and Salem too~! ( Kiki's Delivery Service, and Sabrina)

Dixie Kong

Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat~! If ya offer me pheasant, I'd rather have grouse. IF YA PUT ME IN A HOUSE THEN I'D MUCH PREFER A FLAT~!

And that's my answer. Go watch Cats the Musical xoxo Has ANYONE mentioned a cat from Cats?

Love cats. Can't stand dogs.

Salem from Sabrina (Live Action) - Pretty much defined the term snark for me as a kid.
Mao from Darker than Black (Kuro no Keiyakusha) - Also, snark, but more recent.
Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes - I mean come on, Hobbes! Seriously, I don't need to explain myself. Sorry about this Thomas Hobbes, but in terms of entertainment, you don't hold a candle to Calvin's stuffed tiger.
Sylvester from Looney Tunes - Sufferin' succotash!
Hipster Kitty from The Internet - Anyone? Too mainstream for ya? Am I alone here? (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_VSrnkiWaqSQ/TMdBQsCZScI/AAAAAAAAAZI/r7M0LAXkxW0/s1600/forever+alone+face.png)
Basement Cat from The Internet - A bit old, but the very definition of feline evil for you.
Tigger from Winnie the Pooh - A.A. Milnie needs to be given more credit.

Captain Hobo.

That is if imaginary, plushie, big cats are allowed. o3o

Does Yoruichi from Bleach count? :L

March 15th, 2011, 04:25 PM
As much as I think the film itself is horribly flawed (yet endlessly watchable), my favourite fictional felines would be the cats from The Cat Returns. Muta, Baron, the Cat King (and even Haru at certain times): I can't really choose between all of them. Maybe it's just because if it comes on, I have to stop what I'm doing and watch it (and criticize all of the plot flaws like a grumpy old man), but I love me some Ghibli kitties.
