So, completely superficial, which characters do you think were crafted really nicely?

Akira Toriyama's original Super Saiyan design. Golden hair, emerald eyes, bright yellow aura and to top it off, all that is packed onto his already original and interesting designs. Super Saiyan will be forever engraved into my mind as the most original slight design change I've ever seen, and made memorable characters seem even more memorable.

Excuse the fanboyism, but Cloud from Advent Children is one of the best designed characters, appearance wise.
His personality is a tad clichéd, though.
