It is my Soul Duty to Spread the Awareness of DUBSTEP. Dubstep is an Underground DnB/RAVE phenomenon categorized by its "Bends & Wiggles" and Filthy Abuse of Bass Beats. i understand many of you are not ready for this so be prepared to SUBMIT to the BASS! and afterwards... dont say i never did anything good for you :pink_love:

Don't mind the occasional dabble in dubstep, but those songs, happen to be like the most mainstream if you will songs of Dubstep. Not saying Mt Eden isn't amazing, but artists like Chrispy and Nero are more bass heavy and yeh.

Eskmo is the only Dubstep artist I like. And probably ever will like...Mainly because it's barely Dubstep. It's a pretty awful genre.

First dubstep artist I heard was Burial, and I thought that ALL dubstep sounded like that. I was quite disappointed when I found about 90% of the genre is simply "WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUB"

I know, at least here in England, Dubstep is far from being considered underground.

I'm enjoying Eskmo though, Barney. They're actually doing something different with the genre. I similarly enjoy the sort of 'dubstep' that is barely actually Dubstep.
Burial is more like ambient/trip-hop, but eh, he's labelled as dubstep so I'll refer to his music as such.

I'm aware of the genre, but I can't say I'm a big fan. There's no dubstep artists in my music library. I listen to a little bit of electro but that's about as far as I go.

Must say I like the Dubstep with like light moods or lyrics and not completely filthy. Part concurrence with Vendak, that ambient stuff is amazing.

Nero - Innocence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S35THmZD_E)
Example ft Bar 9 - Kickstarts (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks0P1u6-OUY)
Tom Encore - Jig (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdjJySTv3mI)
(Be patient for the drop, this one is impressive...)

And a little novelty one I found a while ago which is barely dubstep, but sounds amazing nevertheless.

Absolutely adore dubstep and have done for years.
I remember going to brixton clubs when it was underground and very few aware of it and seeing Joker and Burial live <3

Can't link but some of my favourite artists include
Burial (Anything and everything), Skream, Benga, Joker etc.

It has changed tho from the Burial/Joker type to just 'boom boom' on repeat. Ehh. I hope it doesn't lose its uniqueness as it becomes mainstream.

UKF Dubstep (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7lVG9RqU1E&feature=list_related&playnext=1&list=SP71B8152559FA2805) is one of the best compilations of dubstep on Youtube, I highly recommended it to anyone who's a fan of this amazing music.

Currently filling my iTunes with a lot of these songs, the remixes in particular are beautifully done.

Not really my thing, but I hear a lot of talk about Reso (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmOeWUwkpxQ&feature=related), for anyone who's into dubstep.

Something that is more 'my thing', Distance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SicWDo6a0Y). Similar to Burial, although not as good I think.
