I've never really playted any Metroids (alright, I played Metorid II for abotu half an hour once). I played the Hunters demo on the NTR, and I really liked it. So now I want more. I'm planning on getting Prime for Christmas (and Echoes for my brother's birthday a few months later)

i've been a fan of the Metroid series since way before they revived the series in Prime/Fusion. My favorite gave ever is probably Super Metroid for the SNES.
Metroid Prime was an awesome means of bringing the classic series into a 3-D environment...but the lack of a Screw Attack dulled it a it. fortunately, that was fixed in Metroid Prime 2.

i've only played metroid prime (never had anything before n64 except gameboy) and i haven't played it on gameboy either. but prime was a sweet game, and i hope to get echoes soon, cuz it looks even better.

My thoughts on MPrime/MPrime2 are pretty much the same as Tmbjr's. I've always been a huge Metroid fan so naturally I was excited to hear about MPrime when it was released about a year & a half ago. Now, with MPrime2, the Screw Attack missing from MPrime will finally make the 3-D transition in MPrime2. w00t!

XD Stevo 55%?! Dang im still stuck with the bomb guardian i had it down to thiiiiiis much l---l then, it beat me >.<*runs from the tomatoes being thrown at him due to his sucky metroid skills* and ive beat 4%...w00t for 4%

Well, at first I didn't really care about these games, but now that I've given them a chance, I am now a Metroid fan.
I love Metroid Prime. After having it for two years, I only recently started playing it (yeah, I know >>'), but what I realized was that I should have played it when I first got it! This game is definitely one of my new favorites.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is great as well. Although the concept of Dark and Light is not very original, the game is great nonetheless. I just love the creepy feeling that you get when you first go into Dark Aether; you're paranoid because among looking out for monsters, you have to watch your health, and make sure that it doesn't hit zero. This game is definitely as good as the original, maybe even better!

The Metroid series has always had a place in me, since the beginning back in the 90's. The SNES version rocked, a pity none was released on the 64, but the next gen games rock. i have fully completed Metroid Prime, and just no wworking on Echoes, had it for two days, and will be lpaying for a long time to come

MP2 takes the perfection of Metroid (without the Screw Attack XD) and just seemingly makes it even better. The graphics are incredible, the sound is sublime, the gameplay is just... WOW! It just oozes a really great game, and I'm so glad I got it before Christmas. XD
