**** chanseys :(

atm i have about 10 chanseys but still no darn lucky egg... im getting kinda depressed about it ....

any of you guys have this mutch trouble getting that egg ?

would it be possible for chansey to get the egg when i breed it ?

Lucky Egg only has a 10% chance of appearing on a wild Chansey (and no, you can't breed a Pokemon with any sort of item, it would be too easy if that was possible). I've not found one yet, but I've not been looking (and only caught 2 Chansey, second one was for my friend. Neither one had a Lucky Egg).

Just be patient and one will show up (I was having the same trouble getting a Dragon Scale to evolve Seadra into Kingdra, since that only has 10% chance of appearing on wild Horsea, I gave up looking and won the Double Battles in the Trainer Tower (north of Seven Isle) to get a Dragon Scale).

Here's some advice: When you catch a Chansey, save your game, go the Pokemon Center and look at your newly caught Chansey. If it doesn't have a Lucky Egg, keep turning it off until you get one. It's the best way but it takes about 90 tries you don't expect it to come up so easily and fast. Like Toothache said: you have a 10% chance of actually finding a Chansey with one.

That won't work, since any item you have will appear when you catch it, not when you check it.

Well it worked for me when I tried to get the Lucky Egg. Even though it took about 30 tries. And it also worked when I got that extra Fire Stone!

last time i checked it was only 5% chance to get lucky egg on a chancey.

i caught 2 and the second one was holding a Lucky Egg. i guess im just lucky at the moment.

keep it up and my advice: have only 1 pokemon in ur party. when u catch one look at in in the status window. if it has one retire if not catch 4 more (easyer said than done i know)

yeah keep it up and you WILL get one...just have lots of coke (insert fav drink here) and (insert fasv snack here) handy and it will be made a little more bareable.

They are rarer than Ralts aren't they?

On Sapphire, I was looking for Ralts, on the 69th Pokémon it turned up (female as well ^_^)

I must say it's about patience too, but the thing is I never gave up, I encountered all those Pokémon before it...

I only had to catch 4 chanseys to get to get a lucky egg. Two of my friends also have lucky eggs.
