Need help catching Mew

I have been walking around for about 4 hours now and I still havn't found Mew can anybody help me?

I'll help. Okay, I swear this works. I finally wanted this in public anyway. At lavender town, walk to the narrow road on the left. Go into the under ground path, take one step out, walk another step and press start real fast. then fly to ceruelean city and after the bridge, head right and battle the young kid that talks about the s.s anne. fly back to lavender town and go to the narrow path. the start thing will come up. exit, then mew will pop up. for R/B/Y only.Oh, sorry I though it was R/B/y. You have to have emerald.Sorry

Umm, this a FR/LG queston, and thats not quite how that trick works, anyway.

You can't catch Mew in FR/LG. The only way to get Mew in the advanced series is in Emerald. You have to go to some Nintendo event, and then you can go to an island with Mew on it.

You can't catch mew without codes and you need a cheating device for that :) ,i would say AR is the best at the moment,heres a link to some codes.GameFaqs.com

I highly disagree, anyone ever heard of the monsterbrain?, it is the easiest and quickets way to edit anythig and get anythign you want without codes it is sort of like a cheating device sold in stores, it doesnt use codes, it just edits ur game.. http://www.newandusedvideogames.com/gamboypocmon.html
